personally I'd pay a few cents more to get it directly from amazon, its $22.96 from amazon where as the 22.53 is from some third party seller, could be fake

be great if you could plug something like this directly into the tablet.. i have an OTG cable but its a little bulky.. about 10cm long
Looks cool but write speeds appear to be low.
For 32gb of data, I'm holding out for some that at least can take advantage of USB3 speeds.
I have a 16gb now and sometimes its a pain to transfer large files.

If your in the UK the Cruzer Blade 32GB is only £12 http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Cru...NT3G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1344110293&sr=8-2
This guy on eBay is selling and shipping nexus 4's to order with a very fair profit imo.
I was considering doing a similar thing myself thinking that if I could sell 15-20 it might pay for my own, but he seems to have it worked out pretty well. Doubt I'll bother myself now.

Paypal charges about £10
Ebay charges of about £35
Wow didn't think it was that high
That's the problem with ebay these days, the fees have gone crazy. I usually only sell one thing a year on eBay - my phone. Each year they seem to fleece me for a higher percentage. Don't know why I bother.

Selling my note for 200 to a mobile recycling company. Ebay fees are too high and I got stung a few years ago when I sold a tablet on ebay not fully looking into the fees. If I sold the note for 250 on ebay I would get charged about 35 in ebay/paypal fees, its not worth the hassle for the sake of 15 quid when I can just send my phone to a company and get paid in 2 days.

Would be better to buy from samsung with 50% off coupon, it's hell of lot cheaper and no tax & free shipping over $50 orders.

All you have to do is, register your brand new spanking Note 2 or any Samsung device they send you coupon through email.
I did mine through

What was Google thinking? Why is the Nexus 7 16GB here in India for USD $365??
The same unit is USD $225 in the USA.
I was very disappointed with Google.

It's not Google. Its Asus that is selling the device in India. And for some reason they think they can charge whatever they want in India and get away with it. Shame. They could have made this the best selling Tablet here and did well for them selves.
Could it be because of tariffs? How much is the ipad in India?

$170 in Taxes and duty?????
If that was the case then no one would be doing business in India
iPAD2 WiFi 16 GB BLK - Rs 24,500 (India price) Thats $462
In the US iPAD2 WiFi 16 GB BLK is $399 Rs.21,147
3,500 in mark up (including dutys and taxes is OK
It has nothing to do with taxes. even if that was the case they would still benefit from bulk import prices and get a better deal on duty.
This is just them taking advantage of the situation.

I understand our condition.
I am also very much disappointed.
Its too much.do not why asus wants to disrupt its sales in India.
I was going to buy 8gb model.
But its too overpriced.
Best option is too import from other countries.
And please do not make these kind of threads already there are hell lot of them.
It's the same here in Istanbul, and it's because of taxes more than anything. We get raped in prices for just about everything - a 750ml bottle of Jack Daniels will run you around $60 here. Also, I've seen the Nexus 7 (8Gb) sell for around $400.
Don't even get me started on the Apple stuff. Because there is no official Apple Store here, they sell for three times the price. Thankfully I don't use those horrid devices, but people who do are screwed.
Hey ya'll,
Just throwing out there, I was at WalMart (Ozark, Al) earlier tonight, and found that the Nexus 7 32GB was marked down to 199. I just bought mine the day before Thanksgiving! I checked the website, it is still listed at 249. I dunno if this is a price drop waiting to happen, or if it is in my area only. I asked the manager if I could have 50 bucks back and she said that she didn't know, told me to call in the morning, and worse case, box it back up, return it, and use the money to buy it at the lower price. (Which I don't want to do, but if I have to in order to get the better price, I will.)

Damn it!! I wonder if its that price only where you live .. I just bought a 16 gig from Google play for the same price

Similar things are happening in the UK, as you can now get find the 32gb for around £180 at certain places.
Thats what's making me hold out until after Xmas for the 3g.

There wasn't a price drop on the 16, but it looks like the 16 has been sold out for a while, I've been looking for a while, mouth was watering, just jumped on it. I'll call them in the morning and ask if I can get that money back without having to take the device back, I still have my receipt that shows proof. All the night CSM told me was, with electronics, they might.
If you buy through Paypal at radio shack you can get 10$ gift cert for each 50 you spend then price match the nexus 7 32GB to a cheaper site and get more money back... that's what i did.. paid 249.99+cheap filler item+tax=265.xx got 5 10$ certs then used the Paypal pricematch promo (can find through googling) and matched it to a cheaper price i found online which was 229.99 1 or 2 weeks ago. so in the end i spent 265.xx but got back 50$ in certs + 20$ refund back to Paypal account. (pretty good deal if you need to buy anything from RS)
Are you sure the UPC wasn't for the 16GB version? It doesn't make sense that Google would drop the price twice in barely 2 months time (or increase the storage, however you want to put it).
I checked to make sure it wasn't for the 16 gb. The tag also said 32 gb
that would be really nice, since I want to buy one but for 200 or less.
I'm heading to Walmart as soon I get off work and check it out I need one for my car dash.

I just looked on walmart's website and it still says that the 32GB is $249. Oddly though i cant find the 16 GB.
Of course Google aren't dropping the price.
That doesn't stop other retailers from though.

They are all sold out of the 16gb ones at walmart in San Diego, California. A few stores have the 32gb ones but they sell for 249 plus tax

According to the representative at Gamestop, they are no longer making the 16 GB Nexus 7 and are phasing it out by getting rid of the remaining stock. So, my understanding is that Gamestop will only be selling the 32 GB wifi/data along with other retailers like Walmart when the 16 GB runs out.
I'm really thinking about returning the 16 GB one when I receive it next week and just pay the $50 to get the more recent 32 GB one.

Exactly, and besides I'm getting the 16 gb nexus 7 as a gift from my sister in the mainland. She bought it from Walmart for $200 and she'll give it to my parents to bring back to me here in Hawaii for my Christmas present. She said since it's a gift for the holidays Walmarts return policy is 15 days after the 24. I'll just probably return it for a refund and pay the xtra for a 32g from Walmart or Gamestop.
And I won't be getting the 3g Nexus because I already got a tiny hotspot with unlimited 4g with download speeds of 6 mbps and uploads of 1.5 mbps. It lasts for 7-8 hours on it's internal battery and costs me only $25 per month. Awesome! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr-J-M2aEIc
Can anyone else confirm the 16gb version being discontinued or the 199 price for the 32gb? It's still 249 at the Walmart here.

I called the store, the price match to get my 50 would have to been done in 7 days. My store knocks prices down all the time because they don't know what they have. BTW the price is a clearance price. For example, they have Apple service plans (extended warranties) on clearance, a 2tb external Seagate go flex on clearance for 89. They managers there don't know crap about technology. If I get a chance I'll take a pic of the tag they have. But I'm at work till Monday morning

But we're talking about a gamestop employee.... They are probably thinking the 8gb, which is already gone.
And maybe one walmart in the world is confused or has something marked incorrectly. If you can get it for that price, great.
They aren't getting rid of the 16gb, not this soon at least.
