Has anyone else had an issue with this? It worked fine on the 2/07 build but for some reason now I can't send MMS.

Sorry, i have an Alltel Milestone(Droid)
Not a verizon..
I dont see Apn as an option.
APN = Access Point Names
Should be there
Sorry, apn isn't an option anywhere.
In mobile networks settings there is only:
Data enabled
Data Roaming
System Select
That's it.
bump..
anyone else gotta any tips?
Try playing around with the settings, you are missing what is essentially the master setting for MMS messages

I am currently running this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=811620
It seems with every froyo rom I run, I have issues sending MMS to other phones, but not from my messaging app to my email. why is this? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Maybe you can try editing the Network APN Details for MMS and so.. according to you carrier support page.
Menu -> Settings -> Wireless Controls -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names -> Somenamehere..
Hi all
I've been having some issues for a while with sending and receiving MMS messages. I'm using Owain build #80, with the included kernel. I'm on BB 1035.21_20110725 and RIL 0725 (V10d, Europe). My carrier is BiBob (who is on the CM MMS carrier list), and my MMS settings appear to be correct.
When receiving a MMS message I can see that one has been sent to me, but I'm not able to download the image. It's just stuck at a "downloading message" and three days later my carrier lets me see the image on their webpage instead, when sending an image it's just stuck at "sending".
I hope someone is able to help me, and that I've just missed some trivial setting somewhere.
Thanks!
Noone else having had a similar problem and came up with a solution?
I had this problem on a cm7 build.. here's what I did...
1. I installed go SMS from the market
2. Googled the APN settings for my network (pay as you go and contract are different)
3. Manually entered the APN settings in go SMS (found under ...settings .. mms settings.. manual apn...
Viola mms working.. try that and let me know how u get on

It works! Tyvm. Just gotta get used to this new app, it looks a little heavy, but should be fine.

Pretty sure this is a known issue. Try using a third party app like gosms or handcent.

there is no fix?
Here is my current setup, I'm on Chroma 8/24 with HellsCore Kernel B10 T4 on Verizon. I have noticed that I am not receiving or able to send MMS. I have narrowed the issue down to Google Messenger. I can successfully send and receive MMS using Google Hangouts. Now I know it has nothing to do with the ROM. Its something wrong with the APNs and Messenger itself. Has anyone else had this issue and or a solution to it?

Do you have an ad blocker installed? If so, that may be the issue.
I think I just solved my own problem! After tweaking it for a while, I was able to get MMS working on Messenger. It would stop working after a reboot though.
But I think I may have found a permanent solution. I have adjusted the APN settings accordingly and it is working consistently after reboots now. Heres what I did:
-Go to Setting>More>Mobile Networks>Access Point Names>
-Tap the LTE - Verizon Internet APN
-Set settings as below:
-MMSC: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
-APN Type: default,dun,supl,mms
-Keep everything else default
-Now save the changes
-Now delete all remaining APNs except the newly edited one.
-Reboot and now try MMS
BINGO!
I will update in the next couple of days to see if the changes truly fixed it.

I do, but this was an issue before I installed AdAway. I think I found a permanent fix for me which I just posted. Just in case someone is having the same issue.
