GENERIC UK ROM.
Obviously this is for my xperia X8
I need a UK generic stock 2.1 rom which I can flash in FLASHTOOl.
If anyone could provide me it. I would be most thankful

RomWiz - I'm on T-Mobile and I keep getting "Data connection lost" < which means i can't use my data (Since i'm on a contract - Data is important)
I heard that some sim's might have an issue like this when your out of the region.
I think i might have flashed a messed up stock rom because before this week, i never had any errors and stuff whatsoever.

How to create FTF from Xperia Z

All,
I have heard that the decryption has changed and the process of creating FTF is different.
Can someone put some light on it and also "how to" - would appreciate

First you need the new(beta) and old flashtools.
Decrypt the 2 files that you took from sony update service with the new flashtool.
Copy from the devices folder(FTBeta) "C660x" to the old Flashtool devices folder.
Use the old flashtool to create a bundle by indicating where the decrypted files.

It's the same but flashtool beta cannot create a bundle that's why.

[Q] How to backup the latest firmware to .ftf

i have the latest updated firmware in my xperia z & Z ultra
how can i back up this firmware to a .ftf file, i know the procedure of SUS but when i connect to get the file it shows no update available for your phone or you have already latest software installed in your phone,
i also tried to repair through PCC still it show the same any other way to get it.. plz help me out anyone..

In pcc when you click to check for updates,a repair option will pop up.
So do the repair.

I tried this dude but still no help check the picture attached this massage pops up in PCC

Maybe remove pcc and all its forlders than install again or try again later, maybe there is no software available yet for ZU?

xperia z1 demo mode app

hi,
i bought xperia z1 on ebay it was a demo phone and retail demo app video doesnt stop running, i factory reset and updates stil the same , can someone help me im stuck with it the seller doesnt reply back anymore.

Does flashing firmwares void warranty? Also does it have any effect on lets say the emic or flash storage on the phone? And lastly, isn't that 14.1.G.534 a prototype/journalist firmware?

You wont lose warranty by flashing firmwares,and no it wont affect the storage soon.
I don't know if .543 is for prototype,i don't have the phone yet.

Down load autorun blockrr use non rooted basic mode click retail demo uninstall it with click and hold and when it fails wipe administrarors permissions. Worked for me

[Q] how to download ftf from flash tool

OK so I opened up flashtool and I click on devices>check update, and I see the .157 ftf but I can't download it. Am I missing something?

U CAN'T download from flashtool u just can FLASH the ftf file through It
So. U need to copy the latest framware and Google it or search it through android development section..
