Hey,
I usually post in the Nexus S forum, where I review cases (done quite a few now) - I picked up a tab last week and was just wondering if anyone would be interested in me posting reviews here as well. I usually allow people to suggest cases as well!
Just seeing if enough people are interested since tab isn't that new.
Thanks!

Yes I am, because I'm looking for a new case for my Tab
Ef-c980nbecstd
I have this case except for one thing, mine has a flap to cover the front as well.
http://www.google.com/products/cata...=X&ei=zjrKTZa5J8rZ0QGq3ZznBw&ved=0CE0Q8wIwCA#
model number is different, mine in EF-C980NBECSTD, which, when I google it, gives back no results. ..... now it does! http://www.spotit.com.au/buy/80133_GALAXY_TAB___KEYBOARD_DOCK_EF_C980NBECSTD.aspx
mine is also made is korea, better than china, my opinion.
Yes, I've been on the look out for a case with a keyboard as well.
Could you review this one please?
Most of the customer reviews are giving it a one star which is very harsh I don't like the other similar one as much, it relies on a magnetic flap to prop it up. Doesn't look as good

To be fair, it only got one review.
I'm trying to find some for the Zenu case, They are pretty expensive and the only Youtube review is in Spanish. You can find them on Ebay and Amazon, there is several options on color and material too.

I have been looking around for cool stylus/pen and came across this, by tactical does it mean it is solid metal that you can use for self defense?
would i get in trouble for carrying one around or on a flight?

Tactical just means that... u can use it for self defense but really any pen can be used for "tactical" defence. I sell these at my job but without the stylus part. I don't believe that you would get in trouble cuz it is after all a pen.
Nice find though

That's Florida though... they can get picky. I don't know if we have a stylus but check out www.cheaperthandirt.com we have a few different tac pens. And tons of other stuff

You can still poke someone in the eye with a plastic pen. Doesn't need to be a metal one:silly:
Tactical means it looks vaguely militaristic and is a surefire buzzword for selling anything at all to the wannabe soldiers out there..
Hold still while I write a stern note to you with my tactical pen or I'll blind you with my tactical torch. I'd hit you with my tactical belt but my tactical trousers would fall down..
They sell similar products at Walgreens for ten dollars.

I wouldn't say Florida is picky. In fact the state is pretty easy going on firearms and other weapons compared to many states. The TSA is a federal organization anyway so it doesn't really have anything to do with the state.
I don't consider it a weapon but many of these tac pens have glass breakers and DNA catchers. They're also relatively sharp and heavy... maybe that's why its considered a weapon.
Anyway. S&W makes pretty good tac gear. I might have to pick this specific one up. Thanks for posting.

So my little brother is getting an N7 for Xmas after I flipped out on him for wanting an iPod touch. Being a 13 year old I bought him a siedio active case with the multipurpose cover. I then mentioned to my mother that is like one as well for Xmas. Well I did a little snooping a day found she got me one, but not with the cover. I just looked at the website and couldn't find an option for just the kickstand. I really don't want to sound I grateful upon receiving it and say she bought the wrong thing so if you guys could point me in the right direction I would be really appreciative.
Thanks,
Jared

Email or call them directly from the website.
I'm looking for recommendations from other users for their top 2 or 3 best keyboard/case combinations for the Nexus 10. I just returned a Minisuit combo to Amazon because the keyboard simply didn't turn out to be as described in the product information. Obviously I should have kept the Minisuit prior to returning it so time is of the essence in getting a replacement ASAP.
Thanks!

I hate to say it but the design of the Surface tablet's keyboard is slick, it provides a front cover and a keyboard all while connecting via its magnetic pogo. I have high hopes someone designs one for the Nexus. Why are we so far behind the ball on this?

Now that I've tested two cheap combos that turned out to be the same units but branded differently, I'm going the separate route. Actually Kensington & another manufacturer (can't remember the name at the moment) make what I think are very good keyboards akin to the Surface.

I think that the Poetic Keybook Removable Keyboard case is pretty decent. That is the one that I bought which i found here http://www.pctabletcases.com/nexus-1...ssories-guide/. They also have a couple other cases but the reviews on that aren't as good. The Poetic case isn't the greatest case but it does serve its purpose well.

I'm sorry but I didn't have time to look at your link, but is it a case only with no keyboard? If not, I'd really be interested in what you find so 'attractive' about it. I don't mind mentioning this in public bu

Hit the Submit button by mistake. Anyway, Poetic & Minisuit will be reported for potential violation of Seller S&P on Amazon. I'll leave it at that for this discussion. Caveat Emptor...

+1 to this, but I bought the $35 "Poetic Keybook Removable Keyboard" on amazon for the time being.
It has some stupid strap and arbitrary sized keys imo. Also the bluetooth has lag sometimes. I really want them to go the route of the microsoft surface keyboard design. Mainly because of less lag when typing vigorously.
Anyone try one on a Note 8? I never actually used one on my own phone. Was testing out on my brother phone, not note 8. Seemed pretty handy and useful. I don't wanna waste $10-20 on one, if it's not good with Note. So trying to get opinions from people who used on Note 8.
Opinions? Suggestions? Please & thanks!

Here's pic of what some look like. I am sure you've seen people in public or you know use them. Google or amazon cell phone grips. They're pretty popular and useful. Better grip and kick stand as well.

Lol they ain't the most sexy, but useful. The grip is adjustable. Collapses in and pops out with ease. The circle ones atleast.

Strap might be best bet. I say this because wireless charging might not work with circle 1s? Idk going to try and find out if the effects it.

one of them looks like a door knob. I do get the value of functionality of these things but god does it make the phone look prehistoric/abominable .
I have an ultra thin phone ring with magnetic capabilities so that I can mount it in the car. 3mm thick. Works great. Stuck it onto a dbrand skin rather than an open back. I can not only wireless charge with it but also fit it in a VR headset.
Thought of using something like this before but decided not too when i realized it would be hard to write on my phone with the spen while placed on top of a table. The phone would just be wobbly since it wont be flat on the table
This 1 might be just right. Got funded 4Xs over goal.

You could try Loopy case. I use it on my Note 8 and absolutely love it. I have small hands but with this i can reach every corner of my phone. Had a few on my previous phones and im impressed. Daughter has pop sockets, other filmsy rings-straps and after trying them my opinion is that loop is way better.

You can buy just the loop no need to buy the whole case. There are many colors and variants avaliable. You have to go to accesories on their page.

Don't know, i am not using wireless charger. There are videos on youtube with loopy case + iPhone and charging works so i belive that it would work with note 8 also. If you test it let us know because i wanted to buy wireless charger but had doubts just like you.
