Ics nav buttons on cm7?

Hey guys.
I hav flashed my ace with cm7.1 . Is it possible to get the ics navigation buttons on my ace? I searched on google as well as xda but found nothingvfor cm7?

What do you mean by the navigation buttons??You mean the launcher?

If you're talking about the buttons below the launcher (like Galaxy Nexus)......no .

the ICS soft buttons cant be enabled in cm7.
but the tablet buttons can be patched rite ?

It can be enabled i cm7
You need to decompile frameworkres apk
Go to valeus
Bools.xml
And set
Navigationbuttons on treu
Then recompile

Could you explain some more?

Solution
I use Button Savior Pro (Need root) where you can somewhat get the ICS style nav buttons and I use this only, otherwise there is no way I think

Forced upload

Every time i press the volume up it goes to a black screen that says forced upload by key press and says modem booted usb ready how do i fix this

Unless the ROM is great with Great customisation options and with great experience ...

The 2 keys in centre (home and settings) are still interchanged in MI 410

[Q] Firekernel for stock DDKQ8, it works !

We all know about this great kernel for ace. It works for cm7 ROMs. Today I decided to experiment by using it on galaxy ace unlimited ROM. I flashed the kernel & it worked ! Battery is awesome & much better than before for stock. The only thing missing is, the bootanimation. It doesn't show up. Rest all, no bugs ! Is it possible that these minor modifications be made & this kernel might be brought to work for stock ROMs ?!

yes it can try to replace
system/bin/bootanimation
by the one of cm7
and use a bootanimatio.zip in media

I just try that ... replace the bootanimation from cm7 system/bin/ to stock but without results ...

unpack bootimg
find bootanimation file
and replac with the one of stock roms boot img

It's running flawless in my stock rom. At first I thought it will not run but finally it worked, try running it on minimum display settings.
