Well, you should know that every device has different kernel.
Galaxy Nexus's stock kernel is 3.x.x kernel, it runs JB on top of it's stock kernel. Do you think that it means that we can run JB on our stock kernel? No.
There are a ICS rom for stock kernel pasan. but it has many bugs and laggy
Our x8's stock kernel don't fully support ics or jelly beans......

Hi Guys, I have already cm10.1 and Semaphore kernel. I think it isn't fastest configuration, becusase i had before faster roms. Please tell me what is the best/fastest configuration of rom + kernel. Thanks for replies .
I prefer cm10 devil kernel and slightly OC. You tried Slim bean already? Or cyan aosp?

I have Philz Kernel and leaked Jelly Bean ROM. Can I flash to Paranoid or I should flash specific Kernel for this because it is aospa based ROM?

If you have the latest version of philz kernel, you can flash the pa rom using philz cwm.

Pa3 comes with its own kernel anyway.
So just make a backup and give it a go.

It didnt work out for me that way.. I also had philz but before flashing PA, I flashed CM10.1 kernel.. after that rebooted phone in recovery mode and then flashed paranoid android..
