[Q] Difference between EU and GB roms? - RAZR i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone know what the major differences are between the GB and EU roms are?
I'm still waiting for the GB JB rom, wondering if I should just flash the EU rom instead?

I can't answer your question - but having used GB and EU when on ICS, and VFR and EU now i'm on JB I can't see any pros or cons one way or the other except for the bloatware that was on VFR. YMMV.

Yeah, not too sure myself which to use. I've been on orange gb for the past two weeks or so and it seems grand, but there's a motorola folder in favourites that I can't get rid of, might try the eu one to see how I get on...

Just for anyone wondering - I installed EU ICS yesterday and I can't see any differences between it and the Orange GB one...

[Q] bootloaders difference?

I don't know if it was asked before but is there a difference between all the GB bootloaders?
Is that matters what stock GB I flash before I flash any custom GB rom? I know it will work bothways but is there a chance of performance difference?

How to get update?

I have a curious question.
I have GB 2.3.6 on my note. everybody says that the ics upgrade is on the way however my note says there is no update.
Whats happening if I load up and indonesian stock rom or a rom from the country where the upgrade rolled out.
Or how its working?
I bought this note because samsung say its ics now. I need to test the video capabilities of ics 4.

Which is the Best GB Rom

I have been with various ICS Custom Roms and most of them are smooth. I would like to downgrade to GB Rom, till eMMc issue resoved or Jelly Bean comes alive (India). Therefore I would like to know which is the Best GB Rom suitable to India and Perfectly Rootable. Thanks.

[Q] Best custom firmware and help with rooting

Hi, sadly I'm a noob and I currently have a samsung galaxy n7000 UK based. I've attached a print screen on the information about my phone.
Previously, I was on the ICS firmware and since the uk version of the JB wasn't released, I updated my phone via Odin to the chinese version of the 4.1.2 JB. Then recently my phone said there was an update for my phone which was in fact the uk version of the JB.
Ever since, my phone is running quite slow and I have formatted it to see if it made a difference. The difference is slight.
Now I've decided I want to install a custom rom as I heard some of them would make my phone perform smoother, faster and also more battery-friendly.
Can someone give me a recommendation on which custom rom I should choose and give me a link that gives me instructions on how to root my specific firmware as I can't find any that mention XXLT3.
Please help?

We don't do best rom threads on xda, it's just a case of try them all til you're happy.
As for rooting, you may have to downgrade your rom to one that has a phillz kernel for it.

[Q] Stable rom

No, I am not asking for the best rom. I am going to give this phone to a family relative of mine as I have the z ultra.
I would like to strap a error/bug free rom, should I go straight to stock rom? The most irritating issue I have had with CM based roms is that the phone suddenly did not recognize the SIM and the user had to unlock the sim. A huge issue for me and a big no no.
Any alternatives to stock rom?
As far as I remember stock rom ,rooted ,is the best experience for this phone.
CM 10.1.3 Stable 4.2.2 release.
i'd recommend stock rom, or stock-based debloated rom like zaiben. good luck :good:
