well ,my nexus 7 tablet has installed with the latest chrome , but it have some problems to browse google.com in china because of the GFW .so l decided to use their local search service called baidu.com , could anyone give me a solution to add the baidu.com as the default search engine of chrome ????? thanks！

Install market enabler (find it on google) install and enable it.
Then search again for google maps in the market.

In that build, the Market does not function. There is a bug, called the "skia bug", that makes the Market, Gmail, browser, and some other webapps not function properly.
I think you can use Opera Mini to go to the Market website and install apps that way.

I just got a galaxy tab 8.9 from Claro Hondruras. Its loaded with bloatware!! I guess i can live with that, but one thing i hate is i can't set the default search engine to google. I can only set it to a carrier based page (wap.ideasclaro.com), yahoo or bing. This ideasclaro.com page can't find crap and its also linked to the permanent search widget in the homscreen. Does anybody know how to remove this. Please Help!
use root explorer or root browser, then browse to /system/app
see the bloatware from there.. and delete ...

i have installed Google Playstore on my device and downloaded acapella voices from there which i want to use with the VoiceView ScreenReader. Unfortunatelly i can't switch to a different TTS engine in the text-to-speech settings. There is no appropriate option there. Is there a way to fix this?
