Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
Never dealt with MD5sums. how do I do that?
^^^
Any info on that would be great...
I tried both .2 and .3 with the same error... I'd love to check it out so let me know if you come up with something.
-Chris
-After research..-
Using MD5 check, they didnt match... re downloading now to see if that takes care of it.
The md5sum given in the first post for the .3 version doesnt match what is given on the Dev-Host.org site and doesnt match the file...
The one listed on Dev-Host is:
0e78dbff58c327ae5ff04fba98399898
which matches the file Ive now downloaded...
What should it be?
Thanks

Need to check md5 or try and open the zip. If it doesn't open redownload. Google md5 for an app to check it. The error is a bad zip

same here. :[
Just for giggles, I checked the file out on the phone... MD5 matches and I can open the file on the phone so I dont think its an issue with the zip itself...
I may decompress and recompress and re transfer it to the phone just to see what happens...
-Chris
---------- Post added at 04:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:04 AM ----------
WORKS!!
I decompressed it in windows... recompressed it with a shorter name (rom1.zip) and transfered it to the phone...
Just finished installing and rebooted the first time... currently waiting the 10min as suggested then another reboot... Will post up when finished.
Not sure what the deal is with the original zip... file name too long perhaps?
-Chris
Glad you got it. May want to check your sdcard for errors happened to me once weird **** was happening like that.

I've compiled android 4.1.1 for the GalaxyTab 10.1. It's really EXPERIMENTAL, only for those curious to see Jelly Bean working.
NOT WORKING
- Front-facing camera
- 3G & 4G (SCH-I905)
WORKING
- Rear camera (GT-P7510)
- Wi-Fi (thanks to pershoot)
- Audio (thanks to pershoot)
- HW accelerated video (thanks to rmcc)
- Google Now
- Network based location
Pretty much everything else, but things may fail.
Remember that I'm not responsible if something happens to your tablet, flash this at your own risk.
Backup everything you think you'll need in case something goes wrong and a factory reset is needed.
All credit for the kernel goes to pershoot, it's pretty much the same from ICS with minimal changes.
CM10 OR AOSP?
CM10 is a customized ROM with additions to the system: About
AOSP (Android Open Source Project) is android in pure form, just straight out from Google: About
Which one to choose is your decision.
This ROM includes a few additions from CM10, just the necessary so it won't deviate much from AOSP. This additions are:
- Extended boot menu (long pressing power button).
- Performance settings (to control overclock and other settings without an external app).
- Kill app back button.
- Toggle system bar (hide/show system bar - merged from sgt7)
BEFORE INSTALLING
Check that you have the last version of your recovery, and that it's the right one for your model. If you don't do this you'll get assert error 7 when trying to install.
For CWM, go to this thread: [Recovery] ClockworkMod - 5.5.0.4
For TWRP, go to this thread:[Recovery] Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) - 2.2.0
A full wipe is recommended, also formating /system . (Do this before reporting problems)

BUILD YOUR OWN
For those interested in building this ROM, you can try my Linux script. It doesn't set the build environment (gcc, git, java, etc), that depends of your distro. But it should make things easier.
Code:
git clone https://github.com/maplesci/jellybeanBuilder.git ~/development/scripts/jellybeanBuilder
You can change the work directories, and be sure to change the paths for the java exports.

Of course, just wait a little, I'm not at my main PC at the moment. Also, I'll try to compile one for the P4, but because I don't have that model, I can't be sure that it will boot.

Yeah, that was me playing around and since it doesn't work at the moment, I didn't change it back. eth0 doesn't work either. The problem is that the module doesn't work (at boot it won't load, and loading it manually doesn't help).

Alright, it's definitely smoother than ICS, but input lag is still ridiculously high. Guess its a hardware thing. I'm gonna try out some of the old troublesome apps, see if they're any smoother. Maybe I won't throw this into the death pile.

tried and find some lag on the rom i kind of fell ics a little more "stable" i don't know what word to use but of course it's only alpha and you know i am pretty sure that once samsung release the official ics this will be fantastic as most of the lags and problems on ics are just about it.

Might wanna make it a bit clearer.
Hi krabappel2548
You might want to mention in the OP that this is just a compiled Sony device tree and kernel - Dev Blog article and link to the Github sources on Sony's account plus link to the download of proprietary files here.
Might clear up some possible questions later from people who want to build.
Can anyone comment on if there's any 2 second delay when waking the phone, like in CM?

No, it's very fast and smooth but there isn't a lot working yet
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
Has anyone tested it, because WiFi and Bluetooth are suppped to work according to sony, I just wanna know if the problem is the rom or my phone
Sent from my C6603 using xda app-developers app
I haven't tested this yet, but why is this better in some ways than CM10? The main reason that I'm still on stock is because of that annoying 1-2 seconds delay every time I turn on the screen. If this is not apparent here, couldn't it be transferable to CM10?
Will it work on locked bootloader ???

Yes it has its own store additonaly there is https://openrepos.net/ which has store and client for sailfishos (search for storeman). Sailfishos is not android its linux distribution. Contains no java inside and also there is no android emulator because its unofficial port

So first of all, I appreciate your port, great to see this device receiving some love on xda.
But I am unable to boot sailfish, already wiped cache/dalvik, data, system ... after this I flashed CM13 base from the link on post, cm-13.0-20161221-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO3Y9-victara, in sequence flashed sailfishos-victara-release-2.1.3.7-STABLE1. Now after rebooting system on TWRP I am stuck on bootlogo, I tried waiting for response, but no luck.
On sailfishos-victara-release-2.1.3.7-STABLE1 flash part give me this:
"device check succeeded, mounting filesystems ...
could not detect filesystem for /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/userdata, assuming ext4
mount: failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/userdata at /data: Device or resource busy"
in sequence :
copying filesystem archive ...
installation script...
running installation script...
flashing hybris-boot.img...
unmounting filesystems...
Done!
script succeeded: result was [Done!]
My previous OS details, aosp extended 4.6 OS version 7.1.2 Oct patch, TWRP 3.1.1-0, I was using encrypted OS, so I figured, might be It, But even after a full wipe, still stuck on bootlogo.
If anyone could help me, I really appreciate
Edit: So apparently my data and system partition are corrupted, I was able to solve by repairing the partition on advanced wipe menu in TWRP. I gonna leave this here, might help someone with same problem

Hai dev, any update for MTP?
Everything is good, just need MTP and Bluetooth if can.
Thanks
wonderful ROM
Loved the ROM works like a charm no problem except for the mic during calls, I can hear perfectly but not heard on the other side, need to turn on the loudspeaker to make/receive calls.
But using since yesterday, no reboots or whatever and will keep using it. Very smooth.
Cool!
That's cool, man. I've been waitin' for it since a lot. Thanks!
