menu background bug

Has anyone any idea how to solve the menu bug in the following screen shot?
Basically I dragged the original image into photoshop, deleted the icon and added my own so the dimensions are the same, confused.

Because of the notch, the clock and wifi is on the left, i dont like it,

Remove Right Side of Display

Is there a way to disable the status display on the right? Shows Clock, Call Info, etc. Would prefer the previous version of AA that makes use of the full display for apps.
