When I install any CM10.1 ROM, it has decent battery performance but as it gets older (and more apps installed), Android OS starts sucking more than 50% of the battery. The battery life reduces to around 1.5hours of screen ON time.
I've tried almost every ROM for CM 10.1 and problem is consistent. How Do I fix it?
Following screenshot is for battery overnight (screen not turned ON at all in 8hours and battery dropped by 20%)

Check for the Google backup feature. It could be using the battery and data usage.

read ahalfords sticky on wakelocks, try identify drsin by actual cause, might be an app that causes it and the os
build in energy overview is really crap on identifying true cause

Make a backup of your USER apps with Titanium Backup and wipe out data in Custom Recover mode (also known as hard reset) greenify the apps you do not use regularly
My battery will randomly drop heaps while my phone is turned off. Any way to stop this?

your battery seems over, but did you know that if you keep turning your device on/off several times, it will drain energy 2x faster ? same thing if you switch into airplane mod too much times. this is due to the searching of networks, because this step uses the highest resources at the maximum range. so this is only effective during long period or while traveling because moving solicits a lot of resources, just like when using gps... but even when it's off, it needs energy for date/time.
and these stats are only valuable for the ON time I think.
when you don't use your phone, just put it into 2G mode. I bet you'll see a lower drain if your battery is still good
It seems the android system get a high percentage of the battery usage, so that my phone drain battery very fast, why this happen and how to fix it?

your going to have to download betterybatterystats or gsam battery monitor. just that screenshot wont give us any useful info to go by to deduce why your android system is so high. though it is quite common from what i'm seeing and what i've been testing on multiple roms and multiple kernel setups.
Helpppppp pls
Can someone here can help me with the same problem as the guy mention
i have 90% Usage from Android system.
What to do ?????????
I'm on a T-Mobile note 5 using Extreme Debloated 2.8 with the latest SkyHigh kernel
I used to get close to 2 days of idle time on my phone now I'm barely hitting 12 hours.
Here's some screenshots of my usage and wake locks. The weird one is WiFi Running always at 100% even though I disabled the option to scan WiFi even with the phone off. However plugging in the phone seems to stop it.
Anyone have similar issues? Could use some advice. I know it's not Tinder because I don't ever get matches!

Having some serious battery troubles. I unplugged at 100% charge around 5:15 PM yesterday. With under an hour of screen on time, I'm down to 40%. I've posted screenshots of Settings > Battery and BetterBatteryStats. I'd love your guys input and help here. Thanks

The wakelocks seem to be coming from Android OS and Google Services. I also see a ton of wakeups from com.google.android.cms. Not sure how to address these issues though.
Today, I've gone from 100% to 85% in two hours with 17 minutes of screen on time.
