[Theme][Swype]I'm taking requests May, 31 2011

People seem to like themed keyboards. So Im taking requests. just post an image and i will make it into an image if its possible. i will post them all in post 2. if you have a family pic or something like that and you dont the whole world to see it, pm me with the image and your email and i will email the zip to you.

Flash in Clock Work. These only work on Com ROM 1.3. No I will not port them for another rom. No I will not make a spanish keyboard.

Maybe a uga theme? Our may have too much white in it...what do you think?

The rubik cube one is for me and the tiger is for my girl.......Im not sure what you can do with the two.....if you have time to create one for each great......if not just do the tiger for my girl. I have faith in you gunnermike your work shows talent!

yeah, this would be hard. i would have to make 14 different keyboards with some black and some white letters. its best if the image is all light or all dark.

Nexus 7 Custom Colored Back

So I got my Nexus 7 and was excited to see it up close and in my hands. Once I received it I fell in love with its design and feel. But one thing was missing on the back. The back was just to plain and boring for me. Google could have at least colored in the Nexus logo to spice things up. So instead I went ahead and did my own coloring on the back of my Nexus 7. See the pictures below. If you guys want I can make a tutorial on how I did it and what I used. Thanks! :laugh:

That's pretty smart, I like it. It would have been a nice idea to have a line of coloured backs ready to upsell on eager new owners, but I suppose they don't want people jimmying off the backs to replace them
BTW, yeah, I'd like to know what sort of paint you used, acrylic?

It looks good. I'm holding out for the custom backs sure to come.

Very cool paint job. I dont have one yet but I assume that the logos is carved in the back and you just used some paint to paint in the spots?

Looks pretty sweet... If I were to do it I'd only do the Nexus.
But yeah, what did you use and you'll have to update on if it holds up.

Cool... Mine will be in a slim case soon, but I could get my Daughter to do that (Graphic artist with all the paints and tools).

I used Elmers Painters Neon Pack from Amazon. I bought them just to try this out. I wouldn't really recommend these because the tip is to big to get the paint into the engraving and it took me awhile to clean it up. And it doesn't seem like the paint would really hold up that long. Im going to try to take out all the paint and re-do the color with some better markers.

This is really cool! Definitely makes the back look much more enticing and, I think Google and Asus should've designed something like this to begin with.

That looks pretty cool. Although people, be careful if you want to try paint on your backing, it might not be very easy to find a new one if you screw up. OFF TOPIC... My sons android addiction

A while back I gave my six year old son my Droid x2. It was loaded down with games and music and is running CM7DX2 with v6 supercharger. He messed with it a while and grew pretty fond of it and basically
discarded his iPod touch that his grandparents got him. Well it came time to paint his room t our new house and I asked him what theme he wanted. He turned on our 4g hotspots, messed with the phone and showed me a picture of a Droid. Said he wanted his room green and Droids on his wall. Well I have started on the project and have the first Droid painted. (See Below) what do you guys think.. I am thinking about painting the super use icon for him to, but not sure. Any ideas would help.....

Black is definitely a safe choice for men, but the Mocha isn't too bad either.

Just picked up a mocha colored one at BB. They matched the Tmobile online price. All I showed was a print screen of the watch on the basket with the discount showing.

In my opinion there are only 2 colors suitable to men.
- Black
- Grey
I went with black.
The other colors are on personal tastes but as I businessman the above 2 colors are the best.

Rose gold we are nerds and I'm bold enough to rock out with style. Ladies love it non nerds are jealous.

A significant proportion of the worlds most exclusive watches for men are made from rose gold.

Tough guys were pink. Guess, Rose Gold has a pinkish hue to it, right? I haven't seen one in person!

Black, and if you want to coordinate with your tie or something like that, choose a watch face with color.
