Pandoriam sound problem - Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Q&A, Help &

Hi i have a problem with the sound in my samsung i9305.
i flashed pandoriam rom first with acid audio mod but when i play music or anything the sound quality is not very good. It sounds like the speakers scratches. I did full wipe and flashed pandoriam again with stock audio but it does the same.
When i flash other rom i dont have that problem. Can anyone help me?
Thank you

I flashed that kernel because I needed the phone to charge from the Infuse Car holder.
The sound quality is fine through the Car Holder, until the screen goes off then I get the same very crackley sound.
There is no problem with the sound, with screen on or off, when the phone is not in the car holder.

Speaker's not working

Like the title says, the speakers on the phone are not working. No sound is coming out of them whatsoever. My current setup is Serendipity 6.3 and Onix 2.0.3 OC kernel and it was working fine. Then, 2 hours ago, the speaker stopped playing any kind of noise. Whether it was from notifications or speakerphone on a call or audio from a song. I have not flashed any kernels/ROMs and I haven't installed any new apps either.
Audio through headphone jack sounds fine though? I'm not really in a mood for a reflash so may this be a known problem with my current setup, or is there like some kind of lib file that I can simply replace?
Take off the battery cover and give the speaker a good push.Worked for many, myself included.Good luck.

I know that there are audio issues. All working okay but - is anyone else having problems with the speakerphone?
Nothing happens when i select it. The calls stay in the headset speaker. Any help is appreciate.
mine switches speakers and is slightly louder, but almost no difference in volume. its part of the in call volume being low. just a kernel issue in JB

Weird Sound problem

Hi Guys,
I have a weird sound problem.
I have installed beats audio mod and was working fine...
suddenly i observed today that beats icon popsup even when i dont connect headphones and when i play music, the music plays but i cant hear.
Guess my phone thinks earphones are connected. Please help...
Try blowing into headphone socket to clear any dust...... I recall somebody licked the headphone jack then inserted and pulled out it to make it work... got rid of dust/fluff.
If that don't work uninstall beats audio, not sure if it is 100% stable

Stereo speakers on loudspeaker mode..

Guys I found something peculiar..
While on call if you turn on loudspeaker, only the lower stereo speaker works..
But while hearing music both top and bottom stereo speakers work..
Has anyone noticed this?
I am on stock 5.0.2..
Anyone with stock 4.4.4, have you noticed this same behaviour?

Yes I've noticed the same thing a while ago (I am on stock 4.4.4), I reckon there are a few reasons why, first is music and video usually have stereo audio so you would want it to use both speakers, calls are mono so doesn't really matter that it only uses one speaker, and the reason it will use the bottom speaker rather than the top (or both) is in case you have the phone next to your head it doesn't damage your hearing if loudspeaker accidentally activates or it fails to deactivate.
same here.
