No Z1 does not have wireless charging. It does have pogo pins on the side so you can use a magnetic charging dock or cable.
NEXT TIME PLEASE POST IN Q&A SECTION AND READ THE FORUM RULES.

The moto turbo charging cable does disconnect from the charger so you wouldn't be able to plug in another cable not sure of any other quick chargers out there

I can confirm it works with the cheap magnetic adapters I bought from ebay. Sony says their official dock supports Quick Charge 2.0 as well - they likely all do.

How quickly were you able to charge your phone?
Sent from my Xperia Z3 Compact
Does the included charger support it?

No, only chargers with the quick charge 2.0 stamp will work. It did not work on android 4.4. So if it does with 5.0, that's about the best reason for me to upgrade!

Can somebody answer this question?
I use a 3.5 amp charger that I bought off of Amazon and it charges my phone from 0 to 100 in about an hour and a half.
Try the Ampere App avaliable at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gombosdev.ampere
And post your amperage and voltage.
Normally, the Quick Charge charges with 9 volts or 12 volts.
Post screens of your phones while charging.
Bought a quick charger from Amazon and tested it out today. connected with the mag charger I get 1300mA tops. But if I connect directly I get 1650mA. Both were on a cooler surface sitting around 90°F

I had a similar problem and I almost returned the charger. The right way to do it is to align the letter u on the back of your Nexus with the center of your charger.

I've cheap QI chargers that works with my N6.
When the N6 is in the correct position the LED on the charger switches on and the N6 gives a sound.
But the distance between charger and N6 is critical. The back of the N6 is not flat. A few mm's may be the cause of issues.
I needed to change my silicon case for an ultra thin case.
Just unpacked my lovely new XZ3 from Carphone Warehouse... and on its first charge..?
However, i noticed it comes with a UCH20 quick charge 2.0 in the box, yet my XZ2 came with a Sony/qualcomm 3 fasr charger...
Anyone shed any light on this plz?
Yup, XZ3 supports USB PowerDelivery standard and Sony doesn't have such charger yet so they ship it with standard slow one.
Even wireless charging is faster now.
You can however grab a PD charger and the charging will be quick again.

It's strange actually as I thought that PowerDelivery could only be USB C > USB C
But I purchased the Sony Wireless Charger (It's crap don't bother) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Wireless-Two-Way-Charging-Charger-Black/dp/B07B9NSBSP and that came with a charger that stated both QC3 & PD on it but had a standard USB port on it.

I see your in UK too buddy... Did you get the UCH20 in your XZ3 box?
Believe it or not.... I actually found my old XZ2 SONY/QC 3 fast charger... So im using that instead.. slightly faster, but not much..
USB PD requires USB-C in both ends, since it uses an extra pin that's not on USB-A. I.e. your charger won't charge any faster and you should get a third party one.
Does anyone have managed to find any car wireless charger with Fast wireless charging support? Have bought 15w one on Ali, plug it to charger that shows super charging support when plugged directly to phone, but still getting no sign on fast wireless charge. Seen it only once on Huawei wireless desk charger....

So this is what I did. I have a old 4x4 suv. I bought a inverter and plugged it I to the battery. Then ran a power switch and installed it next to the ashtray. The inverter is under my seat. The output I put a regulate wall socket and Installed it on the center console next to my leg. So now I just let the socket plugged in and I get the super charge from the 240v/40w coming out. I am in Europe so our plugs look better than the US.
Just a idea
