hello everyone,
I think I saw someone (forgot who) who is using a 64GB micro SD card for his SGS - however, when I tried one, I cannot seem to make it work (getting an error in the notification bar) even if I tried formatting the card.
Does anyone know how I can make a 64 GB micro SD work for my SGS? Or is it even possible to make it work? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Anyone is using SanDisk MobileUltra 32Gb SD Card (class 10)? I bought it yesterday. I am using it on my Galaxy Note 4.0.4 stock and I found that my mobile is very hot then caused battery drainning fast. Is this normal? Before I put in my new card, k made a quick fat32 format first.

I am using it with no problems whatsoever. However Slow format is always a perfect option because in fast format data is not fully formatted from the base.
Cheers.

Try formatting the sd card....if still the problem persists the you have no choice rather to flash another rom
But my sdcard working normal on some rom. I try to use 2GB, 4GB is still working on this rom but my 16GB is not

you have to replace your sd card, it seems like the problem is in the sd not the ROM

..... 8 Gb Internal.... Now we all Know thats a Lie..
You by far only get your 4 Gb if a lot and those with 16.. well Ok? I suppose
But here is my true Issue, we all Know that you can insert a MicroSD Card in the phone right?
But why is it that its absolutely impossible to install anything on the sd card!!! Is it my Phone or??...
Apps fail to put their data on the Card.. you see I have a 64 Gb MicroSD Card I'm a very huge game enthusiast
most of my games are always 1Gb and above so by best I can only have have 3 HD Games??
now how is that Fair whilst I have a 64 GB Card
so is it my phone or do yours have the same issue??
Please let me Know if you have the same issue or the Solution I am totally Lost :crying:

But root required.
Oh and you're not the only one with this issue. But, as far as i know, without root, you can't do anything about it.
Yep you cannot install apps in the external SD Card. That's not your phone's problem, it's Android 4.0+ problem.
But then ofcourse if you root, you can do anything :good:
U always can use Link2sd, but 64GB sdcard?
S advance suppost to support up to 32GB only i guess

I just got a 64gb class 10 extreme SDXC. Super fast, but I can't seem to find it when I go into safestrap recovery. Anyone know if I need to repartition it differently so that it will work?

[QDoes anyone know if formating the SDXC to Fat32 slows it down that exFat?
Slower, no. File size limitations, yes.
I recently bought the Moto G (2nd gen) and I'm trying to use an SD card, namely a Kingston SDHC 8GB class 10. However, when I insert the card I get a message that the card was removed.
I already reformatted (FAT32) the card with SD Formatter 4.0, which didn't solve my problems. The card functions fine when I use it on my PC and another card (2GB class 4) does work with my Moto G.
I read that owners of the LTE/4G version of the 1st generation also had problems concerning class 10 SD cards. However, these were mostly fixed when they upgraded tot 4.4.4 (which came pre-installed on my phone).
Has anyone else gotten similar problems? Is there anything else I can try to make this card work?
Thanks in advance.
I am using transcend 8 GB class 10 SD card... And it is working like a charm. So it is not an issue with class 10 cards.
