[Q] HELP Galaxy Tab SCH-I800 HELP - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My friend had just given me his SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB SCH-I800 ... When plugged into the wall it shows a PHONE /!\ COMPUTER symbol and that is it! ...When I plug it into the computer that screen goes away, and doesn't come back . The computer doesn't recognize it or even acknowledge it when it is plugged into it. AGAIN...the ( phone /!\ pc screen ) only comes on when it is plugged into the wall...no other time. I cannot even get it into anything else by doing the - power button/volume button commands.
Can anyone help me out with this issue to restore it back to the norm?

That would probably mean the battery doesn't have enough juice in it, so you have to charge the device a little while.
After a couple of minutes, go to download mode (power + volume down while the Tab is powered off and not plugged in). You will see a yellow sign with an exclamation mark (!). You should be able to use Odin after you plugged in the Tab.
Been trying all-day. Nothing works all I get is the battery logo . I just can't get odin to see it

Please Help! Phone is bricked?

I just woke up to a nightmare. I reached over for my phone and i found it dead unplugged from the charger. I thought to myself... "Alright, let's begin charging it... I probably forgot to put it on the charger last night"
I plugged the phone into the charger and the phone powers on...
After it boots, i it prompts me to connect the phone to my computer... Strange...
I plug in the phone to my computer and Zune pops up with c101002e error code.
Now i did some research and it looked like my phone somehow got bricked... so i found the following link and sure enough, my error code is on the list of known troubles.
The Windows Phone Support Tool is not working on my phone, After following the steps i get the attached screenshot error.
My next step is to reflash... however. Following These instructions, I cant seem to get my phone to boot into the tricolor bootloader screen!
PLEASE HELP! Any input would be greatly appreciated!
You say "After it boots, i it prompts me..." is windows booting before the error pops up?
The phone is off... i plug the charger in, and it boots as in it turns on. Once it turns on, windows does not load. instead it's telling me to connect to computer. I connect to computer and the error appears
already tried an hard reset??
Not able to perform a hard reset... I hold down both volume bottons while the phone is off and press the power/lock button to power it on. while holding on the volume buttons... the phone just goes to the connect to computer screen.
Try taking out the battery. Leave it out for a short while then replace it & check its securely in place. Reboot & see what happens. The phone shouldn't brick when charging or sleeping. Good luck!

may be the camera key is pressed down by the case and stopping it from booting
I do not have a case with the phone but i always did have a problem with that camera buttom... it does seem to be kinda pushed in... I hate this...
what is ur version???
just u can jailbreak the 7004 or 7008 by chevron...

Help unbricking i800

So I was helping my friend root to get him cm9. My dad has the at&t version of the galaxy tab so I'm familiar with the process. I put the tablet into download mode and started Odin to flash clockwork recovery.
I got "all threads completed successful=0 failed=0" confused I closed Odin Amber making sure it was idle, unplugged the tablet and held power to reboot it.
This is where I am greeted with the phone to pc screen, which to my understanding also represents download mode. I offered to take the tablet home to work on it and he said it's fine. I drove home and rom it out of my bag and it was very warm to the touch but when I held the power button or showed the same screen.
Now when I plug it into the computer it doesn't show the download mode screen, and adb won't pick up the tablet. And I can only get the tablet to show the download mode screen if it's plugged into a wall outlet. Do you guys have any advice on at least getting this to stock? I read the threads and have all the necessary files it's just strange it doesn't like the usb outlet.
Edit: sorry I finally found a thread with similar issues as me mods can delete this.

[Q] Bricked SCH-I800 Galaxy Tab, how to flash?

Hello,
I have just received a Galaxy Tab SCH-I800 (Verizon version) from a kind person in the USA and it's not working. (I knew that beforehand though)
I think it might be bricked, but I'm not sure.
Here is what happens:
· When I try to power it on, nothing happens (might be the probably dead battery though)
· When I plug it into my PC, nothing happens, then after 10-15 minutes, an icon shows up showing a phone and a computer with a yellow triangle with an exclemation mark inside between them, the tablet stays in this state and my PC (running Xubuntu Linux) recognizes the tablet as an USB ACM device, but I can't connect via adb
· When I plug it into the wall charger, said icon shows up, stays for ~10 seconds, the tab restarts (no icon for a few seconds) and this cycle continues infinitely
EDIT: I just noticed that the tab doesn't stay on forever when connected to my PC, it just turned off again after about 10-15 minutes.
From what I've read in the forums, it might be a soft brick.
Is there any way to fix this and get the tab running again?

So you say I have to let it charge and then it'll work? (I just plugged it from PC to wall charger and it didn't turn off right away, it stayed on. I guess that's a good sign?)
Also, how can I interact with the tab if it's only being recognized as an ACM device?
ACM devices are byte-based serial devices.
Does your linux machine mount it to /dev/ttyACM0?
If so, this may be a emulated serial debugging terminal from some kind of bootloader.
Try to connect to it (on several baudratings) via PuTTY or minicom.
Greetings,
Tobias

Nope, that didn't work.
I tried many possible combinations of flashing PITs, Kernels, Recovery images and so forth, but the best I've achieved until now is that the tab shows the Galaxy Tab logo, then goes to a black screen, plays the bootup melody and then freezes.
I can also enter both the stock recovery and ClockworkMod Recovery, but in both cases, the screen gets all gerbled up before entering recovery and the screen remains black during recovery, meaning that I have to use it blindly.
I can't connect via ADB either. Please, can't someone help me?

my Samsung Galaxy S5 mini Duos boot loop

Hi there, my Samsung Galaxy S5 mini Duo's display not showing and boot loop but sound of starting can be heard and cut to restart again in a loop. If I plug the charger when the phone is off, I can see a red light on the top Left of the phone. Here is some links for a better understanding of the matter. I need help to fix this. Thanks
Looks like a hardware issue as yoicks should see something on screen every time you turn the phone on or connect and charger. You cam try to remove the battery and wait and few minutes, and try to put it in download mode and see if a computer recognizes it using an USB cable to flash stock ROM using Odin.
