This is MOD package for all devices with android 4.0+. I think that is here many of devices with android 4.0 ICS so Mlopik made this. Package include all things of android 4.1 and 4.2 which were posted. Please, if you don't like this thread no coment... If you have any problem or any idea "how to improve this mod" please PM Mlopik or coment.

Try It i have not tested it, but take a nandroid before trying anything so u can revert back. :angel:

I guess you mean the General Android section here.
OP: If this is for all phones it may be a good idea to post it over in the relevant theme's area there as then any phone user can try it. Please don't post this in multiple device forums as that would just get shut down for spamming as that's what the General Android forums are for

I was tried and not working. Camera just record in maximum 720p and same apps not responding.

I think it is only for ARMv6 and ARMv7 chipsets :S

[APP] New Camera App

Hey,
so for any reason the google version of htc one and sgs4 have another camera app and not the nexus 4 camera app.
I have tested it on our nexus s and it is working pretty well expect HDR like on the pic!
Bug: If you change from facecam to backcam you get a FC.
Edit: The more I use the app,.. the more I find FC bugs. But I like the app more, because it is faster.
-Installation-
Just delete Gallery2.apk & copy NewCameraApp.apk into /system/app with -rw-r--r-- and install it.

I got the message "App coulnd't be installed" .. Try it out!

So apparently, I'm starting to get frustrated at the fact that after going to the link*http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43016632&postcount=2215 and DLing the Gallery_Google.Edition.zip from there, I flash it through flashify, which then takes me to my twrp recovery, and after finishing flashing, it takes me to the boot up screen only to find out that seconds later, it causes a boot loop and it's been doing this for a while already. I've even tried to flash back to the previous patched v2 camera4.2, but the bootloop still happens. *sad face*

Photosphere for me is working on my IceColdJelly thats Based on CM-10.1.0 i´ve implemented the Camera-app. Everything works well with the cam!

It didn't work for me at first either. Just remove your old camera apk (gallery2.apk) and replace it with the new one. Hope this solves your problem as it solved mine.

So what's new about the 4.3 camera? The interface looks the same in the screenshots I've seen, is it just performance improvements?

Performance is better.First does the photosphere.
(For me, previously, the photosphere is not working.)

why in my p880 i have the exposure settings -1 0 +1
in my galaxy nexus they are +3 +2 +1 0 -1 -2 -3 ?
its software related or are hardware sensor related?
can someone answer me?

use the camera ported from nexus4, it has photosphere aswell, which works properly

it's not just you, i have the same selection. also, there is no hdr option in this camera app for me, while it's there for some other devices. my guess is, the app just misreads what our device is capable of. no way to fix it, afaik.

then i don't think that it can be ported ,but we can try it
all i need is (android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk from system/framework & Settings.apk from system/app) from IZS ROM
and a tester to test the mod

Take a look if you want (from stock v30 deodexed) (Made following this thread for CM9)

Sad to hear that ,but it was expected ,cuz the Guide if for CM9 not stock ICS ROMS (many differents in the framework files and apks)

Just go to the app drawer and you will find an app called "Lock screen" this has the option to change the lockscreen wallpaper ,, or simply go to settings you will find new header called "lock screen" this also will open the Lock screen app for you

Oh yeah i got you ,, here is the path for the wallpapers "system\etc\customization\content\com\sonyericsson\wallpaperpicker\wallpapers" ,, and i think that the default wallpaper may be included in the UxpNxtLockScreen.apk itself

So, it's not ok with Mackay rom, right ?

Yea but make a nandroid first to be safe.

I tried Camera from 4.3 and I have to say - It works great! Much better than stock camera

i had the same problem with the Mackay Rom and now with IZS v2 , every time i take a pic with the cam app, the screen freezes showing the latest taken pic, in order to take another pic i have to open the front cam and then switch back to the backcam....
Video recording ist not working for me, its FCS everytime i try to record a video....
is there any fix for this?

oh, you're right.. when trying to record video, force close occurs...

Yes it does but i did not flash the zip file with cwm. I extracted the bootanimation.zip from the zip file, copied it to system/media and changed permissions to -rw-r--r--
