how did you installed it? as system app or as "normal" app?
if you installed it as a normal app, a simple full wipe should be enough, but if you've installed it as system app, you have to reflash via kdz...
btw, is ADB working? and if yes, do you know the installation path of the files?

yeah, you've got to enter your recovery and do a full wipe
if that doesn't solve the problem, have you installed something on /system/ partition?

Hello,
I installed Rom manager and flashed CWM 5.0.2.0 (I guess) from it. When I choose backup option from the app it does the backup but I really don't think saves it anywhere so I tried doing it manually by going into recovery manually. When I did this the LG logo appeared and then nothing happened just a black screen with the leds on.
Plz guide me as to what I should do now.
P.S. - I have a nandroid backup but it is a bit old. Its from the old CWM I installed manually.
Thanks
Anyone? I really need help!
Remove battery?
No I am not that dumb
I did that many times even tried to charge it and connected it to the computer but in vain.

It is hardware problem. Go to service.
P.S. you can try to go to Download mode with adb shell command. Look on XDA about it.

I think only solution is to take it to service and get it fixed. Or push Volume up button all the time - maybe it will work.

With ADB or shell commands you don't need to press volume up to continue. But is annoying to have the button broken

I never tried it. You can see how to backup/restore it with adb commands. But if you miss something in typing it you can brick phone.

I think Frapeti posted it on CM 10.1 or 10.2 thread. But I will suggest you not to mess with that EFS pro backup, maybe it is made for other partition (not sure if it backed up right partition, I will not tell you to do something that could brick your phone...).
So I suggest you to backup with commands, and then restore after.

You can still enter in download mode with adb shell (or terminal on phone) command? If I enter in download mode with this method Odin doesn't recognize my phone. If you can see the "Warning" message when you press volume down+home+power your device can be repaired.
I remember that a long time ago a friend gave me his Galaxy S2 with volume keys broken that remained locked on Samsung Galaxy S2 boot screen, so no way to enter download mode. He said that a friend tried to modify the phone with no success. He went to the service center before give it to me and they told him that motherboard was to change, so I started looking on internet and I found to enter in download mode without volume key and working phone: USB JIG. I built it and was working, the phone booted itself in download mode without pressing any key and I've reflashed it, later I've repaired volume buttons, still my friend uses S2. Last week I've built another one for testing purposes with Galaxy S Advance, works. Phone boots in download mode itself (with "Factory Mode" writing instead of "Odin Mode"), Odin recognizes it and can be flashed normally. You can build one USB JIG with a micro usb type B male connector and 301KOMH resistance (I've used 150K+150K+1K) between pins 4 and 5, if you can't ask someone to do it for you or buy one already prepared on eBay (check 301KOMH resistance).
Hey guys,
A little help needed, I tried to unlock my bootloader with the Z_DooMLoRD_AdvStkKernel_FW-434_v5
Everything seemed to have gone fine, then i tried to install CMW, and now im stuck on a boot loop.
I can boot into recovery mode by holding up and power. but down and power dont do anything.
I can now boot into CWM v6.0.3.0
Thanks for taking a look people
Bump anyone? I booted into CWM and did the wipe and everything and still nothing?

I think EMMa should work also with unlocked bootloaders.
http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/
Nope man, I think you need to install Flashtool on your pc, then install adb drivers from drivers folder in Flashtoll installation folder. Next download any firmware which you want to flash and move it to C:/Flashtool/firmware/here. Then just connect phone in flash mode and select that light in the left corner and select that firmware and tap flash. Done, your phone should boot now.

This is the first time I write here, because I do not know. My cell phone is in bootloop. I can not get into cwm and reset the data did not help. SDK does not work - fastboot writes that waits on the device. LG Support tool stops me at 4%(and yes I install LG drivers). I tried almost all tutorials here and neither helped. Does anyone have any idea?
Sorry for my english.

You have CWM installed? Why can't you boot into it?
You can always try a to flash KDZ here if nothing works.

Flashing the KDZ does seem to be the only possibility left for you though.. Try installing twrp 2.8.0.0 (can be found in development threads) through adb (while in download mode? turn phone off and connect with volume down pressed) and see if you can flash CM using twrp. Also try to download the flasher again. Did you remove the old folder in the hidden appdata folder as stated in the KDZ tut? Just follow it step by step from the beginning if the twrp thing doesn't work for you, doing a clean download of all the needed files. I've flashed the KDZ many times myself and never had any problems myself, so this is all the advice I can give you..
I erase all my data from twrp and now i dont have any files to internal sd
is there any chanse to unbrick it? i have access to twrp but i cant install any zip
