[MOD] Ultra HQ Camera v1.5 [email protected]!

This isn't my work at all, it's nodo-gt's
Uncapped JPEG File size. Great photo quality.
Uncapped Video, recording 40MBPS.
Beta ISO 1250
Further increases in quality from before.
I've tested the Inquisition version with the rom and works perfect.

UPDATE: I'm working on adding some more options to the app. Trying to add a red eye flash option. and other manipulations of the flash.
MORE IMPORTANTLY: I'm working on making a flashable zip with aroma making it able to flash Stock camera, ICS camera, Standard HQ camera, AND last but not least... Ultra HQ camera.
if you can help in any way with the aroma installer. Possible make the layout and i know enough about Edify to add the installer parts of the scripts.​

I'm using Dark Raider 1.5.2 which has this already in aroma!
But before he added it I had to:
1) go into root explorer app find system folder ... then app folder ...locate HTCCamera.apk and delete it.
2) hold power button reboot into recovery flash the sense 3.6 zip
3) enjoy messing around with your Ultra HQ camera!

i was able to download it on HSDPA in about a minute or two with the 2shared mirror.

I'm pretty sure you meant 40 FPS very nice though! flash on Inquisition and its working great

I think he did mean MBPS. It's a higher bitrate...

Ohh that would make more sense... I was thinking vid saves at 40mbps... was thinking that my SD card would need to be upgraded to a 32gig xD

I'll see how well this works on this phone. I'll upload a vid of this 40mbps mod to showcase it.

still photos are compressed images normally. Actually all jpegs are compressed but this uses the minimum amount of compression giving the best possible image without saving the RAW.
the normal camera is about 40% compression or so.

also, set Saturation to -1, for matching natural color of the object

well really it's whatever you personally like.
that's what is on the original post lol

Pic looks a good as the 4s or better , like better then the first pic I took out the box with clean lenses but with dirty lenses aged from October

Is the same BTW, in the Youtube mode, it have High Quality with 15 minutes limit, while on High you have the same High Quality but with 30 minutes limit

Flashed on miui and feels little faster in apps but don't hear a difference in sound, benchmark was a little higher

could you please post stuff life what exactly your mod does? eg. build prop edits etc2. and what are the mods/tweaks that can conflict. thanks!

Those of you asking for what it actually does, did you bother to look in the zip file? It replaces some libs, installs drivers, makes some build prop additions, adds some scripts to make sure it runs, etc..
If you're genuinely curious to see what mods actually do, a good start is to just look at the files included.

Flashed this over Slimbean, and unfortunately I don't see any UI improvements whatsoever

Just flashed it on my Nexus 4. So far I've noticed the sound does seem to clearer.

Nexus 5 Mic Sensivity (Audio distortion)

Hi,
If you guys remember Nexus 4 suffers from high mic gain sensivity which results in distorted audio quality shooting video in loud area, for instance check this video file:

Users who already received Nexus 5, please confirm Nexus 5 doesn't have this issue.
For some people this might be a deal breaker.
