Fastboot Question

Using Fastboot, is there a way to apply the custom ROM zip files?
My goal: Apply a new ROM to the phone, without having to use the phone itself. IE: boot it into recovery, and drop to a shell, then use ADB to wipe/format the proper partitions, and flash the new ROM. If I can't flash the ROM (IE: Intension-v1.3.zip) that way, perhaps via Fastboot...I am not sure if there is a way, but if there is, could someone point me in the right direction?

I am quite capable of reading the output of the fastboot command. But that talks about update.zip files and such (including in the link you posted)...but, for a file such as Intension-v1.3.zip only contains a boot.img...no data.img, or system.img as the link you posted discusses.

You could rename the Intension-v1.3.zip into update.zip and try 'fastboot flash update update.zip' But I'm not sure though...

I Have thought of trying that, but afraid that if that is not the correct way to do it, that I might end up bricking my phone.

[Q] Sensation XL stuck at HTC screen with warning Triangles in all 4 corners.

Hi can sombody help me my phone will not install ruu and cant do anything now.
It was HBOOT 1.28
S-ON
Software 1.05.401.5
HTC__001
Now i have HBOOT 1.25 by Fardjadb and after that i did something wrong (i think) but dont know wat..
So now it wil turn on and go to htc screen with 4 triangels in all 4 corners with ! in them..
I can not flash or get ruu to work with bootloader 1.25 HELP!!!
try with locked and unlocked still no ruu wil work
plzzz help Android rules it's has too be like 5 day's thats it's not working
really need help on this one

Sorry don't have recovery but i can flash it but can not eter in to it stuck on htc screen...
Thats y i have ben at this for 5 days now having to use my iPhone pffff

than install recovery.

reboot it normal to htc white screen an try

to fix hboot you need make S-OFF procedure.

Sorry but my Phone olny starts up with the htc screen in black and when i pull the usb cable out if it is only see white screen see pic this is all i can get..
it only say ruu thats it

11. Update HBOOT/Radio V3 thx to shingers5​
This operation does not break down your rom. All you have to do after this operation to change the file vold.fstab to 34​
1. Unlock bootloader
2. S-OFF the phone
2. Download the file and put to SDK Android Tool folder.
HBOOT 1.28
3. Get CMD

adb reboot-bootloader
Once in bootloader it will say in red fastboot usb.

AFAIK you can only reboot into recovery from adb not fastboot.
@op. Try pulling your battery, replace it, then connect power lead without switching device on. Usually device should boot into CWM.

My only other thought is, if he can use fastboot commands, he could try flashing a system.img through fastboot.

Like to thank everyone that has help me..

Download the ruu for your firmware to ur comp and follow instructions, it will sort that out, it will take u to stock rom

Is there a way of getting *Locked* bootloader via CMD?

Hey.
I'm currently working on a method to lock the ONE's bootloader compelitly via cmd.
I dont know if there is any fastboot command , but is it?
And is there any way to transfer revone to the phone and use the terminal on the computer instead of the one is the phone?

Umh, do you have a custom recovery?
If yes, use the guru zip.
However, you can use the revone from the cmd of pc
And you can also use the command for lock in recovery.

So I should do the whole proccess in the computer? but how does the computer get into the tmp folder of the phone?
And is there a command in the (computer) CMD for factory reset?

Yes, you can do the process with the pc.
When you use the adb shell code you're "into" you phone, so you will see all the folder/file of the phone...
Nope, as i know, there isn't any command for the factory reset from prompt.
Seems i'm using my One...

Probably should work, but i never checked because for a factory reset i flashed the stock recovery and permformed it from bootloader
Or do a full wipe, that is the same, from recovery

Question [CLOSED] NE2210 Bootloader Unlock Fail!

I am trying to unlock the Bootloader on my OP10P but I keep facing failure even after trying more then one Unlock Command.
Device Model: NE2210
Build: NE2210_11_A.16

I'll give that a shot once I make it back to the computer. Had to take a "woosaa" break due to frustration lol
** Update. Bootloader is now unlocked tyvm!!! **

Can you tell us what you did after all the "unable posts"?? Bootloader unlocked won't help others see what went wrong. Thanks

I used the files in the Signature as suggested and the "fastboot flashing unlock" command worked no problem.
