HTC ONE 64gb available in UK?? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know if the 64gb version will be available SIM free in the UK?
If not, which countries will it be available?
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda app-developers app

It seems 64gb version will be available only in US but i hope not.

AW: HTC ONE 64gb available in UK??
Would an US-import work in europe? 32Gb isn't enough for me, but rest of this phone is great!

I've asked HTC the Netherlands the same question but offcourse for the Netherlands...
The girl I've spoken to told me that the 64GB will be released in the UK, after the 32GB'ers will be released.
She couldn't tell me a date, month, period, so that's quite sad.
If I check German sites like Geizhals.de I see that there at the moment is only one shop where you can pre-order the black 64GB version.
Silver: http://geizhals.de/eu/htc-one-64gb-silber-a908392.html
Black: http://geizhals.de/htc-one-64gb-schwarz-a908385.html
Offcourse your European charger won't work in the UK, but that's all

i found out this site:
http://www.idigitalshop.com/en/193-new-htc-one-64gb.html#/color-white
lokks untrustworthy...

Just found this on a quick Google search for them: http://www.scamadviser.com/is-idigitalshop.com-safe.html
Not sure if they're good or bad, but they are very new apparently.

Only €510 for a 64GB, forget it, fake as hell!!

That seems suspiciously cheap to me. The fact that they advertise it as being available in red is a little odd, too.

Have a look for the HTC One developer edition
Not sure it it's coming to the UK yet but it will and it does have 64GB storage.
$600 US price apparently.
The 64GB version will ship in the UK once the buzz about the 32Gb version has died down ,as usual.

Yes this site could be trust worthy considering how cheap the US edition is.

i cant even find a feedback of some user in the web

64GB developer version US
The 64GB US version will work in the EU but the 4G might not work since they use different frequencies
LTE:
EU: 800/1800/2600 MHz
US (AT&T): 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz
US (TMO): 1700/AWS MHz
US (Sprint): 1900 MHz
Asia: 1800/2600 Mhz

U.S. members waiting for the HTC Incredible S

I don't know how long it's going to take or if the price is worth it but Negri Electronics has the HTC Incredible S available for pre-order. $629.50 is a bit steep for me but I am still tempted to get one.
The pictures they use are for the Droid Incredible and the specs don't mention AWS support but that could be because whoever made the webpage for it didn't know any better. So, in case anyone is interested, here is the link:

This is the cheapest I've seen so far. I asked them when they would get stock, but they don't know.
still not sure it working on usa tmobile 3g?!!
It looks like this phone is now available to order as the pre-order button is now gone. Price also went up by $10.
The specs sheet on HTC's site lists AWS as one of the 3G bands:
http://www.htc.com/www/product/incredibles/specification.html
My understanding is that is what T-mobile USA uses.
Pocketnow has received one of these from Negri Electronics for review.

Anyone have a favorite website that you'll go to to buy this phone?
I usually buy my unlocked phones in person, but I'm trying to avoid tax in Illinois...
I'm thinkin of just ordering it on ebay. $600 doesn't seem to be a bad deal... just trying to get myself to pull the trigger over my G2. =\
Anyone knows if this phone from Negri Electronics will work in Europe??
Thank you

I notice that a lot of their specs are weird on that site. A lot of the phones on their site is listed as not being compatible with US 3g. For example, The N8 is listed as not working on US 3G, even though it's a pentaband.
http://www.hi-mobile.net/nokia-phones-n8
I'd suggest emailing them first to make sure the specs for the phone before ordering.
I also noticed that shipping is $22. Kinda expensive, but still the cheapest I've seen.
I've never ordered from them before
plemix.com also has it for 580 us
How fast do HTC phones fall in price? I'm on the fence about the $600 price tag for the Incredible S?
Does this site ( hi-mobile.com) accept international credit cards ? I tried to search on FAQs section about that and I couldn't find my awnser.
I already bought it from amazon but this site linked has very suspicious low prices
Edit: the least prices I could find are from amazon.com 619 $ and the lowest buyout from eBay also 619 $ but the seller from Hong Kong so expect shipping fees depending on your countey/state.

[Q] Which model did I just buy...???

Does anyone out there know the model (region) specific LTE configurations?
I just bought an HTC one (waiting for international delivery).. it was model 801n.. I could not find much data on it, but I did find some info at pdadb.net, which suggests that this model has the following LTE bands:
Secondary+Cellular+Phone
Dual-Cellular-Network;Operation: Selectable cellular module
Secondary-Cellular+Networks: LTE700 (B17), LTE850 (B5), LTE1700/2100 (B4), LTE1900 (B2)
Secondary;Cellular;Data-Links: LTE
Secondary+Cellular;Antenna: Internal antenna
Which means it will work on ATT, but I have been unable to validate this. So far HTC has come back with the official - it's a UK market model, so we cant' help you with that, but I have put in a follow up question. hopefully they can help.
I believe the most common model is the 801E, which appears to be the 800 1600 2600 model, which will not work...
It is driving me nuts, as I really took a risk and bought it without confirmation and paid a high price...
Anyone have more/better data?
Many thanks,
Nick

I found it on Ebay, saw they had the box in hand, so confirmed the model and part number, searched like heck to try and figure out what the model number meant. Only found the info listed on the PDADB site.
I also called HTC in Taiwan and contacted the UK and US HTC support sites by email to try and get confirmation of what LTE types is has, but just get official non-answers.. There has to be a document somewhere at HTC with all the model numbers that lists the differences... It is shocking that this cannot be found.
Anyway, seller said he bought it from an official HTC seller in the England (GB).
I am also wondering whether this could be the dev model?? I assume that was released in GB after the carrier launch.
Needless to say I am anxious to figure out what I have actually purchased... And a little pissed off that I cannot find a definitive answer anywhere.
Arrggg.. anyway, it should be here in a day or two, so I will find out soon enough...

That's frustrating. From the looks of things you should get LTE based on the specs you posted. I'll be following this thread. Thanks!

Model 801n is the uk model for sure, I preordered one from phones4u, a company here sells phones on all network, not sure what's the equivalent in us though. I assume you bought it from someone who did the same as me, since as far as I know, phones4u was the only place you can get the One in the past two weeks, and their phones come unlocked to any network.
But it is definitely not developer version cos it's not available in uk.
If you checked what frequency band the 801n supports and it matches at&t's frequency, then you should be able to use the phone without problem.
So just relax it will all be fine.

Well - it is here and .. no LTE..
I have to figure out whether it really has the secondary LTE radio with the US bands like PDAdb.net says it has.. And how to enable it, if that is the case.

If it's the UK Model then in the US you'll be able to get everything apart from LTE. If you look at the reviews on YouTube, all the models they got were the European versions and they could only get 3G in the US.
Seems like it is mostly working, but the signal is weaker then my optimus g, note 2 and bb z10... And even eight a good signal the data indicator keeps toggling between H and 3G... Anyone know how and if I can optimize the phone for att?

[Q] HTC One LTE Compatibility

I plan to buy and HTC One ASAP but prefer an unlocked version. Does anyone know if the LTE on an unlocked HTC One that I buy in the US or UK would be compatible with US AT&T. Is there a specific HTC One model number that would guarantee US AT&T LTE compatibility? Any recommended source for purchase?
The same question here also, but on Bell in Canada.

Won't work on bell. If you check the ltecovere map on Bell' the 3600 mnz band(150 Mbps) is very limited. Rogers got it covered in GTA, and expanding further in coming May. I even talked to s Bell rep, and he said that the 2600 MHz band is only for late rocket USB sticks on their network, no smart phones for now.

Hold off buying the Int'l version. 2600 only LTE will not work on AT&T (which is the only NAM LTE band the Int'l version supports).
Right now all the online sources (like Clove, Negri, Expansys, Handtec) are selling the Int'l version.
As I believe OP is based in the US, what you really want to wait for is the Developer's version, which will have 64GB of storage and AT&T-compatible LTE.

NCIX often brings in the unlocked international models of phones for Canada but I'm not sure if it's the generic international one or ones from the UK (and I'm not sure but the UK might be getting Snapdragon).
Outside of Canada 28mobile.com often stocks the hard to get rare versions such as the Korean ones and I believe international models.
Then of course there is expansys that seems to usually get international models as well, even though they quoted you Snapdragon I've always seen them stock both models of phones on their website.
Keep in mind that the international model will most likely only have LTE band 2600MHz for bands that will work in Canada which is also limited to only a select few city with Roger's and Bell, not to mention that it's signal penatration will be weak and not work in buildings.
It's possible we might see more bands on the international model that will work in Canada but usually this is not the case and your best getting the local one for full LTE support.

Hmm interesting........ I have NO desire for the dual-SIM, HOWEVER.......... if the dual-sim version comes with VoLTE, then I will most certainly be interested in it!! I found out that, at least with my carrier (T-Mobile, I live in the Chicago area in the U.S.), even though the XP has Band 12/700 MHz capability, because it doesn't have VoLTE (single-sim), it WILL NOT be able to utilize Band 12 for voice during phone calls, only the data portion can be used on Band 12 during a call. But with VoLTE, I'd be able to use Band 12 for voice too............which is important because my area is going to have it very soon! Band 12/700 MHz spectrum is very valuable b/c it can penetrate buildings much better than the higher bandwidths can, which means BETTER reception while indoors! :victory: Right now it doesn't matter, but in 6-8 months when we WILL have it, it will.
2 questions:
1) Are YOU getting your dual-sim version of the XP from Expansys HK?
2) The 16th? As in JUNE 16th kms??!!

I'm still considering the X or XP, The X will be available on the 7th whiles the XP is on the 16th, I think I heard the shop say this, but can't confirm yet, but it is before mid of this month for both.
If I do get one it will be from a local chain store in Hong Kong, that way I can inspect the unit before hand for scratches, dead pixels and other cosmetic defect or problem, HK only has the dual sim version, the second sim is a hybrid sim/micro sd, but that isn't a problem as I can get them both working together.
Once either one is released I can check for you, about the VoLTE, but cannot check the bands.
Initial finding of the bands for XP and X are:
LTE FDD 700/800/850900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600
LTE TDD 1900/2300/2500/2600

kms,
Yeah I've already confirmed the XP has Band 12/700 MHz capability, so don't worry about that. But getting a version of the XP that HAS VoLTE would be VERY important to me! I HATE it when other people around me can get reception indoors but I can't (it doesn't happen often, but it does happen). Having VoLTE would most likely eliminate this from happening the majority (if not ALL) the time.
That's fine. The one from the store will be the same as the dual-sim one from Expansys HK anyway.
So THIS month?!! :good::victory: That's f'ing awesome!!! Yeah we won't get the the single-sim XP here in the U.S. 'til I dunno, early to mid July? So even if I have to pay more for dual-sim, to have it extra early and WITH VoLTE would be extraordinary!! Man I REALLY HOPE the dual-SIM version of the XP has VoLTE!
Ok so say it does have it...........is there any reason to think it might not work here in the U.S. kms??!

HK expansys is likely to get the Hong Kong version, it's also a 64GB version, the only reason for not working in the US is the band, the band is 700, but there are various version of the 700 band, so not sure if this is the band 12.

Ughh you're right about the dual-sim one having 64 GBs! I don't need the 64GB version, like I don't need the extra SIM slot lol, but F it, whatever. IF this f'ing phone ACTUALLY has VoLTE on it, then I'll buy it. FML lol
Well wait a minute. There's a Hong Kong version? I don't think so kms..........the single-sim one I pre-ordered from Expansys US is the INTERNATIONAL version. So I don't see why it would be any different here vs. in Hong Kong to be honest with you.

If you can confirm the information is correct, then it's ok, extra internal memory is bettery, even 32Gb is getting slightly small these days, so the more the better.

Yeah but I already HAVE a 64 GB MicroSD card in my phone now, so I don't need the extra room, and won't be using it either.
Confirm what information kms??

If the information about the version you are about to get is correct, thats what matters.

You mean the single-sim one I pre-ordered, that it IS in fact the international version?? If so, I've already confirmed that with Expansys US. They told me they only sell the int'l version of phones UNLESS otherwise noted. Here is a copy & paste of their e-mailed response to me on that topic:
This would be the international version, please let us know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Dulce
So kms, if that's what they sell, then the dual-SIM (F8132) model YOU'RE getting will also be int'l, so it will come with Band 12/700 MHz capability on it as well, which that page I linked you earlier confirmed. What I don't get is why the F8132 would have VoLTE on it but the single-sim F8131 wouldn't? But if your prediction is true, then I don't give a sh*t. lol I just want that f'ing phone!! lol

Volte won't work unless sony actually certifies the process with the carriers they intend to have it with. Volte will not work like the z5 didn't.

Ok.
So what do you think MGS? Get the XP with the best camera but can't utilize Band 12 for voice on a call (so can't benefit from its improved indoor reception advantage) & no HD Voice, or get the HTC 10 which still has a very good camera and has the Band 12/VoLTE/HD Voice advantage? Tough choice, for me anyway.

Ethically I'd say htc 10 as htc wants your money as they listen to their fans for the most part and go the extra mile supporting all carrier features. On the other hand I'm a big sony fan and enjoy the value of their hardware but let's be honest sony really doesn't care about us. They force us to buy international versions to get full features and gimp us phones without giving us legitimate reasoning. Have you ever talked to sony mobile support they are as clueless as we are.

You make some valid points MGS.
The fact that HTC STILL sells their phones through all the major carriers is an advantage all its own. I can go onto T-Mobile's website and buy the HTC 10 RIGHT NOW if I wanted to.
Yeah I mean, I can't lie, I love Sony's Xperia phones the most. But I am at wit's end here with all this hassle I have to go through to buy the d*mn thing, and then in dealing with the BS that comes with the actual phone. The int'l version is cheaper (yet better) and is coming out sooner than the U.S. version, so I don't really care about that. But this VoLTE thing really p's me off cuz I won't get the BEST reception with it even though I really should. Plus having to buy it unlocked is dumb too.
Oh dude, JUST the other day I spoke to them. They LITERALLY know nothing more about why the supreme morons that run that company do what they do than we do. Is it really THAT hard to get the phone certified? I mean, if you're not gonna offer people the chance to pay for it on a monthly basis (like carriers do) interest-free, and not release it on time (f'ing July??!), the LEAST you could do is go that extra mile and get the d*mn thing certified for VoLTE and HD Voice too.
So your answer is HTC 10 or XP? lol
