HDMI Out Not Working on CM10.1 - Motorola Droid 4

Too n00b to post on Hashcode's thread in the Dev section. Perhaps a moderator will help. . .
Just rooted and installed CM10.1 and testing functionality. All good thus far with the exception of HDMI out.
Great work otherwise, Hashcode.
From other thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37072742&highlight=hdmi#post37072742

Known problem, it's not yet working on CM10.1 You'll just have to wait for an update.
This thread may help, but it says it's for CM10, not 10.1. I've not personally tried it.
Edit: Doesn't work, don't bother trying.

Updated to CM 10.1 Stable
Thanks, I waited for the next stable release before testing again.
Just updated to the 10.1 Stable, the June 24, 2013 build.
HDMI still does not work.
Does anyone know if this has been addressed in any nightlies?
And now, back to lurking. . .
Thanks.

CM9 stable and nightly

Hi All
Now Cyanogen Team said they will stop working on CM9 and they release Stable version but when I went to check the Nightly ROM I found they still working on it.
Stable mean no bugs and Nightly under upgrading to become stable.
Why they release stable ROM.
Who will explain this?

As far as i understand... When the Nightlies become better and better the developers start a feature freeze. This means no new functions or crazy experiments - just bughunting! This is made in the RC (Release Candidate) builds. If everyone is satisfied with the RC builds, it is getting stable status.
The work on new nightlies is parallel to this process, i think!

Explain what? Explain the new nightlies?
No developer would throw ICS out of the window, just because JB hit the market. Look, there are still cm7-nightlies on cyanogen build machines!
Rush
You should keep in mind that some newer version might not work well even when the development has finished due to hardware limitations. So people might want to have the maximum working version on their devices. Hipothetically if Jelly bean won't work well on our devices, then atleast we'll have a bug free ICS rom.

So lets get a roundup of Cyanogen 10.1 Nightlies,

So lets get a roundup of Official Cyanogen 10.1 Nightlies on our P880
Update here with bugs, until we reach a stable version as this is not being done in official thread.
Apps / games:- Working or not?
Fixed and none fixed cm10.1 system faults?
A list in general from all users of none working and fixed issues.
Stick to posting only CM 10.1 official nightly related info.
(could a mod move this to the QA thread please. Sorry my mistake.)
: O(
U have to report the thread if u want to move it.

[Q] CM 10.1 RC4 Phone/SMS not working?

Hey Guys
Just flashed CM10.1 RC4, everything is great except the phone/sms/3g etc isn't working. Previous software was a nightly build of CM from April sometime.
Anyone else have this issue with the release candidate?
Currently in Australia with Vodafone SIM.
Cheers
This should be in Q&A!
Anyway you've probably lost your IMEI, It's a common problem. Simply reflashing any of the nightlies will fix it.

[Q] CM 10.2

Hi All,
I remember that we will not be receiving next major version of Android by CM becoz of lack of NEON instructions. I only wonder, if we will still get CM 10.2 or our last version will be CM 10.1.
Can anybody with CM insider knowledge answer?
I can only see that there was not created CM10.2 branches in our P990 github related repositories, which is bad sign to me.
Edit: Answer is Yes, CM10.1 is last version.
CM 10.1 seems to be the latest official version of cyanogenmod. But just look at all the gifted developers in the development thread. I guess someone will get it working on our device .
I think even some time ago pengus or tonyp mentioned that they like the challenge ....

Yes, I have read tonyp's thread and there was mentioned that CM team officially won't support 10.2 for our phone. But I hope Pengus and Tonyp will make something But it's quite possible that it will be a little bit unstable and glitchy...

Thanks, I know about it. But unfortunately it will not be official CM, only experimental.
It's great that there are still developers who want to keep our device up to date :fingers-crossed: , but looks like it's time to look around for next future device.

CM just announced one update to the CM 10.1 branch of code. I tried posting this in the other CM 10.1 thread, but I cannot due to my newbiness. Anyway, does anybody know if 10.1.3 RC1 will get ported to the Nook HD Ovation? Can somebody ask everygreen the awesome guy who has been doing all this stuff? I really havent made the switch to 10.2 and probably wont for quite a while. I currently run 10.1 the last one from 8/13. I wonder of 10.1.3RC has anybody better. Oh well. I hope this makes sense.

I missed the boat on 10.1.3RC1, but RC2 and eventually 10.1.3 stable should be made for our devices too.
Where should we watch for updates about when this is available? Seems all of the chatter over in the dev forum is only about CM10.2.

Would installing this new 10.1 RC from the updated in CM be wise?
Still very new to this. Just got CM put on my Nook this weekend and would hate to have to start fresh again.
I would suggest installing any RC version. They are supposed to be pretty stable and have bug fixes that you'll want (not to say that they won't have bugs of their own).

I think he's asking about updating from the CM menu. I received a notification today that RC 2 was available, will I lose all my apps and data if I update from there?

Thanks for the help!
I updated it with the internal CM updated but it kept hanging on boot and restarting so I just went ahead and did a manual install.
My Nook runs much smoother now! Hopefully it won't keep rebooting and hanging on boot as much as before.
