[Q] Req: 2-way call recording - excl speaker

Hi guys,
I was wondering if someone had that 2-way call recording to work on our phone ? And then I mean the hack which takes away the requirement to have your speakerphone activated ?
Thanks in advance
Guess not

So much interested also. Looking very forward for it with no luck atm
No luck? Anyone has information on what kernel to use for total recall?
As question have been asked many times on the net, Android market and so on, you have only two solutions: either no dev is interested in this, either it's impossible.
I vote for second...
If I understand you right, you would like to record a phone call (having both voices recorded without running the external speaker)?
You can use "Sanity" from market. I use it myself very often. It works fine and the recorded quality is very good. The only thing: you need to have the donated version to really be able to use it, the free version only records a couple of seconds.
Cheers

[Q] Need Help! Call sound is broken!

When I do/receive calls I need to put phone in loud speaker mode to listen.
The other side of the call can hear me and also hears himself (not a real eco its like the speaker and mic are connected).
Tryed to flash Nova 8 Rom, CM7 Nightly v11 and v20... and also stock rom...
Everything defaulted...
Everything reseted...
Happened after using CSipSimple app (Voip Calls) and after i tried to change Sound Routing (or something similar...)
Any tips?
I'm tired of looking on the web (over 5h today...)
Thank you
Update:
There is no eco now (dunno what I did to fix it...).
Also tested with handset (cable phones) and it works fine...
Could it be hardware?
I hope it is software and it has a fix...
Help
The audio are the main problem for CM, and haven't any solution yet, or perhaps you can try my build (look at my signature). If your problem still persist, I can't handle that, since our CM P970 is still working in progress, the source is not completed yet, as we can say perhaps it still 50%.

You also already 'downgrade' to Stock ROM and still having the problem. It might be the hardware. But, referring your CSipSimple app, perhaps that's the problem. What if you're not using it, is it normal?

Thank you for your reply
I went back to Stock Rom (Vodafone Portugal V10a), everything fully reset (even unrooted, at least I do not have root access), no programs installed (other than the OEM ones) and the problem is still here...
I'm thinking on giving it back to Waranty, do you think it is still viable?
I flashed stock rom using LG Support Recovery Tool (100% oficial as you know).
Thank you again!

[Q] Call recording... (CriskeloROM)

Yeah, I now there is something like this out. I tried yesterday on my SGN with CriskeloROM for the first time the call recording function and it works great - except the fact that it only records 30 secs and the folder is unspecified. So, my questions are:
- does anybody know, if the time-limit could be changed? if so, where?
- as well reg. the location of the saved file
- as well if the arm is the default format for recording
Or are these limitiations somehow dependent on something else?
I know, it might be more related to CriskeloROM, but I'm interested as well if in other roms the same limitations are resp. if they could be solved somehow else?
yeah
I am on Rocket ROM and i use flashable file from this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369368
it with a nyc dial pad and works fine
unlimited recording
.amr format but plays fine with stock music player on Gingerbread ROMS
flash file via CWM recovery and lemme know if u hav problems afta wards
I tested it with CriskeloROM for LB1 (GB) and yeah, this works great. At least I can record 48 secs, which is definitely longer. Great.
I installed the record-ONLY-mod, not the dialpad, cause this I love already on CriskeloROM. GREAT once more.
Last but not least, is there a chance to specify the folder where to store the sound-file?
Thanx
Since I was curious I retested it with my original CriskeloROM without the patch and I was surprised, cause it worked once again with more then 30 secs. Anyway, I changed it back to a ROM with the same patch and I'll stay with it.

[Q] Samsung Gt-I9000 Mic Recording Issue

Hi all,
I have a problem with my galaxy S. It doesn't record audio in any app! also in videocamera. but the microphone works well in every call...
This problem is present in every Gingerbread+ Roms (also stocks) except MIUI/CM7 (in these Roms i can record everything).
i would like to install the new Value pack...but with this problem i can not insert this rom.
what can i do?
thanks in advance.
I never had any problems with the microphone ,but did you try to change the kernel ?
yes i tried a lot of kernels (semaphore, devil, voodoo)...i don't know what could be..
i tried also an external microphone...it's always the same! there is no audio also in apps like google voice but the calls are fine. for me there is a dirty file somewhere...but i don't know what i have to do...i tried to wipe it several things...

[Q] Noise cancellation, glonass & baseband automatic call recording with custom roms?

[Q] Noise cancellation, glonass & baseband automatic call recording with custom roms?
Hi
Do lg p880 custom roms 4.2.1 or 4.2.2 (I'm not interesting in features that work only in stock roms) support
1. noise cancellation (the 2nd mic thing)? If yes, is noise cancellation working with baseband calls and also with voip calls (via usual voip apps) if using a custom rom?
2. glonass (the gps alternative) fully?
3. duplex automatic call recording apps that record the voice streams which were handled by the baseband processor (I'm not interesting in mic recording apps)?
Please mention, if your answer is conjectural or if it's based on practical experience.
The reason why custom roms wouldn't support (as opposed to the stock roms) one or more of the features above is: Some features are based on kernel modules, which were provided as binary blob (closed source modules) in the stock rom.
1)Im pretty sure that it works
2)Just checked it and yes it works
3)Ιm using call recorder and it records both of 2 people very good !
if you need something else ask me
Thank u

Thanks for answering my questions. But what makes you "pretty sure" that noise cancelling is working with custom roms? Have you already used this feature with a custom rom? And if yes, which custom rom was it ( was, because as I can see in your signature, you are using a stock rom now)?
Noise cancelling with custom rom is for me a decisive factor for buying this smartphone.
I had test it but in some occasions didnt work perfect

In which occasions and what do you mean with didn't work perfect? Did the noise cancellation turn off abruptly? Or was there a sweep?
Sometimes there was a sweep
