OMG!!!
Is this the developer edition with an unlockable bootloader!!!!????
We have been looking for one of these.
If you help the community, we will surly help you.
So why don't you go over to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2145602
Just do the following instructions and I will help you to see if it is unlocked.
MAKE SURE TO PM ME THE FILES!!!
Do not post or motorola will detect that it is you and will do bad things (IDK what, but you don't want it to happen)
Thank you for joining our community.
Cheers and Hope you enjoy your atrix hd dev edition!!!

I was told is the Developer Edition when I got it from ATT since at that time they had both versions bro. The unlocked bootloader I got it from the net on some searches I did that the Developers Editions are boot loader unlocked. How can I check this? To make sure is what you guys need?

So u got this from the AT&T stores?
It might not be a dev edition,
But...
go here (never know): https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a and follow the steps until it says either your not qualified or not and tell us what it does.
I hope this is a dev edition...

Hello bro Im trying to get the Devise ID but I dont get that part right there mate
Code:
TO GET YOUR DEVICE ID
Put your device in fastboot mode (press the power button and volume down button at the same time and connect your device to your computer with a USB cable).
On your computer, open a command prompt or Terminal session.
Go to the Directory where you installed the Android SDK tools, and type:
$ fastboot oem get_unlock_data
I get this error when trying to get the Devise ID
Code:
C:\Users\aSolis\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk>$ fastboot oem get_unlock_data
'$' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

nope, I have tried many different things and is actually not comunicating with the phone I believe
Is there a way I can start the server first just to make sure is comunicating?

also from what folder I open the Command promt?
from the main folder or from the platforms-tools folder?
sorry but Im new to this phone and is making mad already. lol

You can try a simple fastboot tool HERE. Just extract the zip and copy the fastboot folder to root dir C. Then, open cmd and type cd C:\fastboot. And the command to get device ID : moto-fastboot oem get_unlock_data. I used this simple fastboot to unlock Photon,Atrix and Xoom bootloader. It should work fine on AHD.

SET UP TEAMVIEWER between tcf38012 & SVLAN. That is the best way do it quickly and correctly.
Otherwise this can only end in frustration and disappointment :/

that worked perfectly mate and thank you but unfortunaly it does not qualify for bootloader unlock

So you don't have a dev edition. Damn Lol.

[Q] Bootloader won't unlock

Hey guys, I am trying to get my bootloader unlocked so I can root my HTC One.
I have installed the Android SDK (when the boxes come up to choose what to install, I leave the default ones checked, and click install. Are there other ones I need to install as well?)
I have also installed HTC Sync Manager, the ADB fastboot files, and java.
I turn off the phone, hold volume down + power to get into the bootloader then go to fastboot.
While in fastboot, I connect the phone to my PC through USB.
I then go to the folder I extracted the Fastboot and ADB tools to, hold shift and right click, then choose Open Command Prompt Here.
I then paste fastboot oem get_identifier_token
and hit enter
Then I copy all of the information

Yea, after doing some more research, it seems Verizon has blocked that method, which really sux. And I don't have one if
those $1100 java cards either.
But I did hear something about that rumrunner, I'll have to give that a try this morning. Thanks =)

[Q] HTC one Google Edition - Bootloader Unlock

Dear all,
I have an issue that has dazzled me for a few days ..
I have a 4.2.2 Kitkat HTC one google play edition and would like to install a custom rom.
The first step should be to unlock its bootloader
I've gone through the online tutorial and did exactly what is needed .
1) Loaded into fastboot mode
2) fastboot oem get_identifier_token
3) I received the token and pasted it in HTCdev and got back the unlock_code.bin file
4) entered fastboot flash unlock token Unlock_code.bin in the terminal ..
This is supposed to trigger my phone to display the "Unlock Bootloader?" screen, as attached ... and this is not happening
I have all drivers installed properly and my phone has responded to the fastboot oem get_identifier_token command
but there is no screen displayed .. only the fastboot mode .
What should I do?
Appreciate any help you can give

Unlocking the bootloader on GPe 4.2.2 is not possible any more. Also if you have an unlocked bootloader from before 4.4.2 OTA, don't ever relock cause you will not be able to unlock again. Google removed the partition that had the unlock splash screen. I have tried. The only way to unlock it is to find a signed 4.3 GPe RRU and downgrade. So if you are not rooted and S-on a signed RRU is our only hope! There is way to unlock if you are rooted or S-off.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Unfortunately you can NOT run a signed RUU to downgrade. This is going to have to come as a patch/update from google now

I thought a pure Google edition phone will be the least restrictive version of Android. .
I should have chosen the Sense 5.5 one ..

Unable to Flash Custom Rom using Hasson 2000's Tool on HTC one (M7)

Hello everyone,
I bought an HTC one off ebay, having in mind I would flash custom rom on the device which I prefer for obvious reasons. But each time I open Hasson2000 Tool to get ID token I get this error in command prompt below:
*daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
*daemon started successfully *
'error: device offline
I have tried searching for solutions but I cant get one to actually fix my own issue, I do know the HTC bootloader has been unlocked and rooted because I can boot to bootloader menu, boot to recovery mode and on top on the screen it says *****TAMPERED***** just below it says ***UNLOCKED*** I figured the previous owner tried locking bootloader before selling it off.
I noticed other commands dont work like reboot device on the tool probably because of that error or my htc is not recognised am not sure. am running Windows 8.1 Pro on my laptop.
What I have done so far
Rebooted phone several times
Rebooted my laptop several times
Unplugged and plugged in usb cable
Used different usb ports it recognises my htc because I can view my SD card or transfer files between laptop and phone.
Please guys I neeed your help with this, thanks.

Depending on the carrier the device was made for and the one you use, OTA updates may not be an option. If it is a carrier device then updates will be pushed OTA from the OG carrier. IF you use a different carrier then you wont get OTA. And to be honest they are over rated and cause more issues then anything else.

What about using the command prompt instead of a toolkit? No disrespect to Hasson2000, but toolkits aren't ideal imo
In most cases, ''device offline'' is caused by an outdated version of the android sdk or a bad usb cable/usb port (btw use usb 2.0 ports).
Also in windows devices manager, your phone must be listed as Android usb device ---> My HTC. If not, you have drivers issue.
If your phone still boot normally, just copy the rom inside the sdcard, reboot in recovery and install it. I will highly suggest you make sure adb and fastboot works correctly before as they will be required if something goes wrong when installing the custom rom. Also make a nandroid backup of your current config before flashing the rom and make a copy of that backup on your computer.

How to root the HTC Desire 510

Okay guys and gals,
Today I'm gonna be giving you some directions on how to root the HTC Desire 510.
Steps:
1. What your gonna need is your phone, a usb, and a pc. (I used my xperia z as my pc)
2 Your gonna need to download [THIS]. This is the recovery image your gonna need. Just download that and put the file in a folder on your desktop or somewhere you'll remember.
3. Next your gonna want to reboot your phone into fastboot and connect it to your pc.
4. Next on your pc pull up cmd. (search cmd in the start menu) and type "fastboot devices" without the quotes and hit enter. If it shows your device your ready to move on.
5. Now your going to want to change your directory to where the image you downloaded is with a command similar to this "cd C:\users\xxx\desktop\recovery folder". Next rename the image to something simple like flash.img and type this into cmd "fastboot flash recovery flash.img" after doing that you should be able to boot into twrp from the hboot menu on your device.
6. Next on your computer download the su binary zip here. After downloading it reboot your device and copy it to your internal storage and reboot back to your recovery. Then in your recovery go find the supersu-v2.16.zip and flash it then reboot normally. Your device should now be rooted.
Thanks for all your help

Worked like a charm. Much appreciated
Many Thanks! Phone Rooted! but i had 1 question whats the difference between this recovery.img(10,594kb) and the one on twrp website which is 10,480kb in size. just wondering? thanks
This worked great for me, thanks! It was my first root ever, and I had some guidance along the way, but this thread as well as the one to unlock the bootloader were very useful. The only snag was HTC took forever to email me the key.
Thanks again!

Next rename the image to something simple like img.img and type this into cmd "fastboot flash recovery img.img" after doing that you should be able to boot into twrp from the hboot menu on your device. Next on your computer download the su binary zip here. After downloading it reboot your device and copy it to your internal storage and reboot back to your recovery. Then in your recovery go find the supersu-v2.16.zip and flash it then reboot normally. Your device should now be rooted.

I am reading that this seems to work on HTC Desire 510 devices however I know that Boost Mobile had its own little version of the HTC Desire 510 with the model number 0PCV1 and ive read a lot of threads stating that it was unable to be rooted. So before I started to touch anything I was wondering if this for sure will work with my HTC Desire 510 with model number 0PCV1. Thanks.
Have Boost HTC 510 OPCV1 and I'm unlocked and rooted. Only downside is the unlock threw it to s-on and it says tampered in hboot.

Okay well its good to know rooting is possible. However the downside sounds iffy to me, I guess since Ive never rooted an android device yet. I have previously jailbreak'd an iPhone 5c on iOS 8.1
Does the s-on effect anything? And what about the hboot flagging as tampered?
The downsides is really nothin. I'm on the 510 right now so hope this explains it pretty well: htcdev.com/bootloader/about_unlock_process

Okay that explains it pretty well to me. My final questions if your hanging around the thread, did you use this original posting to root your device?

Cant get in to recovery mode

Hey I was following this guide and got to Part 2 A, flashing TWRP. I believe i followed every step but am unable to access recovery, when i try to from fastboot it simply turns off the phone, when i try to from ADB it says "no command" with a picture of the broken android . I tried a newer TWRP img but it did not change anything.
I am using Android 6.0 and the Moto G2 Dual sim. I have unlocked the bootloader, updated drivers and there is no errors. Please help.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.0-1-titan.img
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'recovery' (8264 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.286s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.290s]
finished. total time: 0.578s
Apologies if i have made a mistake in this post or have not provided enough detail, i'm new to rooting and using forums. Thanks for any help!
Moto G2 Dual-SIM is not enough info.
You probably don't have a Moto Titan, but a Moto Thea.
Do you know the exact code name of your phone? XT106x or XT107x?
If you're not sure, download and flash TWRP for Thea. If your phone is a LTE (Thea), you should be able to continue the steps in that tutorial, BUT you will have to choose a ROM for Thea, not Titan.

I tried a download for the thea but it still didnt work, ill try find some more downloads.
No, XT1068 is indeed Titan. You got it right from the start.
Try the latest version from their site.
Did you succesfully unlock your phone? Check if your bootloader is unlocked in fastboot mode it must say "Device is UNLOCKED. Status code: 3". If it doesn't say that your bootloader is still locked.

Hey again, sorry for the delay. i tried it again, along with alot of other files but it hasnt worked. Maybe something is wrong with the phone?
The guide you mentioned does not show you how to actually unlock your phone; it gives you links to another guide and a YouTube video.
You checked those out, right?

Ive unlocked the phone but i didnt follow those guides, i have been using this.
Yes, that's the one you mentioned.
But look closely: it doesn't show you how to unlock anything - it gives you a link to another tutorial for unlocking and then skips to rooting.
So... how exactly did you unlock it?

Well, if you did paste the code correctly and hit enter, then your phone must be unlocked.
Although I'm not so sure. With updated drivers, USB debugging enabled in Developer options and Minimal ADB installed, you should have been able to perform miracles.
Type in a CMD window from within the ADB folder:
Code:
fastboot devices
What happens? If you do get the device, type further:
Code:
fastboot oem device-info
What does it say?
