is there a way to have more internal ram
thank you
I dont think so, cause it is built-in from the factory. But I read some operator's bundled N7000 in the US has 2G model.

U made me misunderstand, u should say 2GB org ROM, not RAM. About increasing the apps partition of internal ROM, I'm nit quite sure. But that thing could be done when I was using Nexus One. For N7000 havent got the chance to do it yet.

Well i was having a fully bricked tab after performing unbrickable mod i restored my tab using a stock rom 2,2 froyo build number jpjm5 using odin
Nice to see you successfully unbricked your tab!
In your storage info, do you see 2 internal storage info? What is the size of the other internal storage partition?

I am not 100pct sure. But you may hv some bad sectors in ur intrnal memory.
If that is the case, I doubt you cn do anything about it.
You can try formatting it and flash MTD ICS and see if it improve your partition size.

The current ICS ROMs modified the partition system and partition sizes from the original stocks. Therefore it may help you change the parition size in case you have bad partitions.
But if you have bad sectors in your sd cards then it is physically damaged and nothing we can do.
If you are willing to try ICS, follow the following instruction and thank Priyana for it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27500461&postcount=5
no guarantee, but good luck!

Delete what? Unnecessary crap? Go to system/app and remove things you don't need/want. I suspect that you're a bit noobish, so check out the thread, "Applications that's Safe To Remove", or something like that (just scroll up).

If I understand the question correctly, he wants to know how to increase RAM, not storage. Storage is not a big deal both internal or external. But RAM is only 800+M and mostly 700+M is occupied and makes Note sluggish sometimes. Anyway, this is my first post at xda and greetings to each & every1 of you
Use TB
Just install Titanium Backup and goto Batch mode then scroll down to Un-Install all user and system apps. Then follow this link https://spreadsheets.google.com/spr...1gdDJRekl4QmkyNmIzUmRvX2h3UDVkQXc&output=html to see whats safe to remove. Remove all that you do not require and you will find a huge difference in space which will speed up your device as well. Hope this helps.

You need at least noob knowledge of adb (ie copy-pasting commands).
The second command was
parted /dev/block/mmcblk0
rather than
parted /dev/block/mmcblock0
I've just done it on my Note.

So the sp does not support moving apps to the sd card. As a result of this, having the phone for a week I keep getting warnings to say the memory is over 75% full. Is there a way around this yet? I really like the standard Rom and hope I don't have to wait for custom roms.

for this u should have root access (on a custom rom)
it will allow u to mount external memory to internal

To root XSP go HERE
Well it all Google fault to limit the movement to sdcard. But there's always few apps that natively supported moving data to sdcard.
For now, without root I have to use clean master to delete junk file on my XSP every few day

Now all app data I backup (like WhatsApp or trafficmanager) goes to sd0 internal. So everyone I want to whipe the phone I have to move it by hand. Verry time consuming.
Apps I just want installed on internal.
I have root. What's the best way to achieve this?

Download Link2SD, moves all your apps and app data to your sd card and any future data will aswell, however you'll have to manually link every app.
Sent from my C6603 using xda premium
You need root to use these apps.
When using link 2sd you have to create a secondary partition on PC make it primary and use fat32 this is supported by stock.
You can link all apps to extsd
I use foldermount pro to move game data to extsd. As a result of using both these apps I have over 4gig free on internal.

That does not happen due to partition layouts. Samsung does not care anymore to the original note, as they consider it an old hardware. Our device is extremely capable of running JB but will never achieve such performance due to lack of support.
