([DEODEXED // ZIPALIGNED // JELLYBEAN ROM])
What I have here is a Jellybean 4.1.1 based ROM. Its been de-odexed, zipaligned, debloated heavily and I removed as much blur as possible while keeping the ROM fully functional (including SMARTACTIONS) *blur apps have been replaced with AOSP versions* All of the main apps, including Google apps and the system have been blacked out!! This UI is very dark, and a lot of time has went into blacking everything out and I wouldn't have it any other way, so if your not a fan of darkness.. then this ROM is probably not for you! You Must be running the (OTA) JB version on your stock ROM since the kernel is needed to run correctly.. and you must use Safestrap recovery to flash the ROM if your on a consumer device, or TWRP/CWM recovery if your on the Developer edition! If you have any suggestions/issues please do feel free to leave your feedback.. as its always greatly appreciated!

Re-themed nearly every single System/App making this one of the Darkest builds to date!
Fixed Force closes issues during Device setup, there should be No problems with anything now!
Heavily Extremely Debloated, the last 2 Verizon apps that were causing the Force Closes and popups on boot in prior builds have been removed! if your a fan of Motorola/Verizon apps or widgets, then this ROM is definitely not for you!
Disabled Entitlement check (Wifi Hotspot hack)
I'm sure that I did more, I just cant keep track of everything as i am currently working on updating both HD builds, and the final release for the XT912. .. but,
Enjoy the Darkness!
2013-3-15:
Fixed Reboot Mod

2013-3-14:
Updated framework to new OTA version (9.1.41)
Modded in Reboot to power menu

added into system: GalleryGoogle, GoogleDeskclock,

removed more bloat, so if you want/need/like Moto apps, or blur.. then this ROM is not for you! I have however replaced Motocast with Zumocast as there are no dependencies to make the app work.
updated theme work a little
I'm sure there was more, but its been a while.. is this not already enough reasons to update lol. ..
2013-1-16:
New ROM, based off Jimboslices deodex, motoblur-9.1.39a-vanquish ROM
Blacked out the framework
SystemUI got an overhaul deleting whats not needed, and added in my BW darkness and minimal icons
Added in a 1% Accurate battery Mod, but removed the battery icon from system bar (i use the circle widget as seen in the screenshots)
Removed lockscreen text under icons in the framework
Debloated nearly every Verizon bloatware leaving only behind the ones needed to have Verizon mobile data widget, backup assistant, and smartactions fully functional.
Superuser has been updated, and added in SuperSU for added benefit., also updated busybox.
Added in Init.d support (thanks to mattlgroff), adbd and zipalign on first boot
I updated a few app icons to reflect the White Widow look, only a few! BWicons also got updated with the new images for the app drawer. ..
Updated all apps, Apex just updated to a new version, again, right after i released.. and Power Toggles i didn't update due to some newer bad reviews.
Widow Butter build.prop edits have been added for a fluid, battery sipping experience., not to mention the theme work will help save your battery!!
This is, by far the darkest ROM/theme selection you will find for your RAZR HD, so enjoy the darkness!
This is to change the M print on boot., and will change it with my blacked out widow editions.. this is very simple to do, and you will need a PC~

Actually the XT926 denotes 3 different phones:
The Verizon Razr HD, (consumer and developer,) and the Verizon Razr Maxx HD.

yes I'm aware. If you have the consumer RAZR HD/ MAXX HD then you use safe strap recovery. if your on the developer RAZR HD then you will use CWM or TWRP recovery. I thought most people would already know this, as most root users know how this would work. ..

Yes...mostly, you won't have any wifi though. There is a way to fix it as it was fixed in Batakang for Atrix HD but I'm not a dev I tried replacing the prima_wlan.ko and cfg80211.ko files as shown in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2107662 but no go
You will get an "Unsupported SIM" warning at boot but can be skipped no problem.
I was able to get LTE on by going to *#*#4636#*#* in my dialer and picking LTE/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA as my Preferred Network Type. Do NOT change anything else here unless you know what you are doing!
The XT925 and XT926 are so close that most things work even the camera!
Got it working, see here:

this is an amazing Rom, i have it for some time now without any issues at all, work smooth, good battery, enjoy it guys

I got it working too EXCEPT for LTE!!! When I try setting to global, the phone forces GSM/UMTS. It will let me set LTE/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA as my prefered networks however.
Is it possible to put the theme changes into a update file that we can test with one of the available ATRIX HD roms?

Try changing the preferred value from 9 to 10 in
ro.telephony.default_network=9
ro.ril.def.preferred.network=9
I believe that this will make it default to global instead of gsm/utms. I get lte in Canada with gsm/utms so I assumed it would have been the same down there!
If 10 doesn't work then maybe 3? I had a list somewhere as to what the numbers meant. I know that 4 is cdma.

Wow, slick rom.
FFC works!
4g works fine when you switch back to GSM and then to cdma/4glte.
Video chat doesn't work, but that's a minor issue.
Use safestrap to install, read and make sure you understand how to use it, first!!
Still gotta go back to stock rom for my Netflix... but I'm sure that's just a kink with the codecs you guys mentioned.
Looking forward to the 1.0 release!!!!

They really do produce a nice rom that is allways supported and upgraded...team mav rocks lol..
Has anyone flashed this over the .906 OTA leaked update? If so, how well is it running? I'm in limbo whether I should take the plunge or not. The only reason I haven't updated to the official .906 is there aren't really any custom roms that run the .906 system base, but now that mavrom is up and running this system, I will probably take the plunge because mavrom is by far the best rom out there so far in my opinion.

Just updated settings apk to look like this. I included it in 4.0 and reuploaded. http://db.tt/mlzVEQHD

I am running .894 and all is sweet!
I can see your concern for flashing over .906 which is why I still have not taken the plunge
But it should run great over it as 4.0 is based off that ota and has the system files
I have tested 890, 905 and 906. No issues to report. I will be heavily testing the gps on Tuesday.
Thanks for update!

You would need a banner editor and team mav hasn't added that..so you only have 2 choices that I'm aware of...maverick or verizon wireless...and you change them from within the toolbox when you change themes
Ok, thanks. Reinstalled all apps - it's faster

Is there an easy patch for that? I remember running into this when I worked on getting 2.3.6 on the XT862.
If there isn't one, you need the files from /system/usr/keychars or /system/usr/keylayout.

Are you looking for a stable and smooth Gingerbread 236 experience?
A completely reliable and fully functioning daily driver?
Tweaked and modded as you have come to expect from a GB ROM?
Lightly Blured with an AOSPish twist?
A Clean Slate to modify as YOU wish?
Introducing a custom AOSPish ROM based on the deodexed Gingerbread 2.3.6 (4.5.141) Fruit Cake made by Xanadu. The ROM has been almost completely de-bloated and de-blured, and has many AOSP components.
Try to think of this ROM as a Clean Slate to modify as YOU wish. I don't want to force apps, gapps, themes, and launchers on you.
I will leave it up to YOU to decide how you want YOUR ROM to look and function.
First boot is slow (due to deodex). Just be patient and enjoy the AOSP boot animation!
All the features of CSROM plus:
Faux 1.45GHz 026b1 unified kernel
V6 Supercharged (1000HP)
Faster and smoother than CSROM
Still has great battery life
Apps open instantly!
The idea was to create a customized status bar that reminds the user of the dashboard of a high-end sports car with the color scheme of the Motorola boot logo. This theme, which is compatible with both CSROM and CSROM Turbo, includes the HTC Sense status bar, status bar icons, and notification drawer.

Gingerbread 2.3.6 (4.5.141) Stock Fruitcake
At the same time I was working on the ROM above, I also spent some time trying to understand the problem with installing Gingerbread 2.3.6 Fruit Cakes. There are many members of this forum, myself included, that have been looking for a Gingerbread 2.3.6 (4.5.141) fruit cake to return to stock. There are a few available on SamCripp’s thread, but there seems to be issues for some users installing them (if you search the thread you will find references to “System 7” errors). After trying to use these fruit cakes for a while I realized that I could not get them to install properly coming from a CM9/10 ROM, but coming from CM7 usually worked fine. After noticing that the GB 234 and 235 Fruit Cakes worked great every time, I started experimenting with install script mods. I eventually made one that works every time no matter which ROM I was currently running. The fruit cake I was using is listed on SamCripp’s thread as “2.3.6” and was also made by Xanadu and is pure stock. There is a download link below for my mod for anyone that is interested. If you use it let me know how it works. (Don’t misinterpret anything I have said above as a slight to SamCripp or ROM Factory – mad love for both!)
Many thanks to:
SamCripp for ROM Factory
Xanadu for making the original Fruit Cake
Installation: (flash at your own risk – all the usual disclaimers apply)

Flash ROM from recovery (no need to wipe – install script wipes system, data, cache, and Dalvik)

Thanks again!

[ROM] [stock 4.1.2] Droid Nexesque v3.6 XT925/XT926 "Fast, Stable & Reliable"
** Disclaimer, this is something I am posting here from the www.droidrzr.com forum with direct authorization from the OP to also alert everyone on XDA Developers and the direct download link to the Rom. Ive flashed soo many different Roms and this works the best and in my opinion is the most fast, stable and Force Close free. Battery life is one of the best I've seen for any phone as well. Thanks for this great opportunity to get this to every user smart enough to flash it adamjmtz and JP1044 **
So, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a real developer, but I have spent quite a bit of time reading the INTERNET. This is a stock-based RAZR HD ROM that I have themed and debloated to be as close to a stock nexus experience as possible (hence the 'nexesque' name). I basically like things to be clean, unintrusive, and stable.
DISCLAIMER: I built this rom for my own personal use and I’m posting it on here for you to try. Blah blah blah, if you brick your device it’s your own damn fault.

OPTIONAL ADDON STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON CUSTOMIZING ROM provided from user hallokitty. Special thanks to him.
The framework is an apk easily installed: http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk (From this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401)
GravityBox is here: http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.ceco.gm2.gravitybox - there's a link to the APK, currently 2.6.9
Just download them both, install the first framework APK first.. then open it. Choose the "Framework" option at the top. Press "Install/Update". It will need a reboot after.
Then install the GravityBox APK.
In your app drawer, go into "Xposed Installer", you'll be back at the same screen as before, press on "Modules", and check "GravityBox". I think it may even need a reboot again, I don't remember.
From there, just go into GravityBox in your app drawer, it has a few good tweaks - the main reason I got this one is because I can make the Navigation Bar smaller so I have more screen space, you can show the menu key etc.. Also you can center the clock on the status bar, make other visual changes to the Rom and many other tweaks to Nexesque.
As for the DPI, I just went with this simple app in the market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.texdroider.texdroider_dpi
I'm currently running at 240 and I've had no market issues, but some apps will think you're on a tablet, so it can look odd. I had no problem with any of the settings I tried so far, so I can't report any real issues with that. I didn't try any crazy values though, I say between 200-300 is probably going to work fine.
The link says 926 so is this for the xt926 or will it also work on the xt925? I'm a little afraid to go onward without a little more info but it does sound like a nice ROM to try out

This is what I've been able to find for you Safe Strap users: " I have this ROM running via safe strap right now. Built it out last night.
SS 3.12
My procedure: Erased rom slot 1 completely by doing standard cache wipes and wiping the OS. Then activated a different ROM slot. Then clicked rom slot 1 and deleted it.
Rebuilt rom slot 1 with a 2 gig partition. Did all the standard wipes again before I installed. Mounted system only, unchecked other boxes. Installed ROM. Once this ROM was installed wiped cache and dalvik cache & booted, no issues to report yet"

I tried this and it kinda works. doesnt connect as good as the proper xt925 ROM and toggling the network type from global to GSM and back after evey reboot is annoying. Please god somebody duplicate this rom on the xt925. PLEASE!
wifi not work
my device is 925, and I own the safestrap procedure that legend221 described. The rom flashed normally, but the wifi does not work.
What could have happened?

I removed the kernel in post #2 as it was an alternative for the Rom but not a requirement.
Performed a full wipe and re flashed just the Rom by itself and it fixed my wifi issue at a local hotspot.
I use mobile data 99 percent of the time so I never noticed before.
Try the same and let us know if you can connect now.
I installed with CWM and now it worked. It's a pity I have not got the safestrap = /

Glad to hear.
I don't have safestrap and am unlocked. Being unlocked is better than having safestrap as some users have tried to unlock but their phones are already upgraded so they cannot unlock their phones anymore.
You should be happy you are unlocked

Is there an option in this ROM to remove the soft keys at the bottom of the screen? I use PIE Controls and don't need or want the built-in soft keys. I'd prefer to have the screen real estate. If that option exists I'd love to give this ROM a try.
use it on an xt925
In case anybody is interested, try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394689
seems like the trick to make a xt926 ROM work properly with a xt925

Great, thanks for letting the users know. We're you able to perform this with success?
god this looks nice. wish it was on the atrix hd :crying:
I don't get it, why doesn't this work with GSM sims isn't the Razr HD a world phone meaning it works with Verizon cdma and international GSM networks (US with radio mod)

Thx for this ROM,
I like as close to stock as possible.
It had a hard time until I figured out that you put a radio file in it.

Advanced -> wipe dalvik, wipe battery stats
Install zip from sdcard -> jellyaospxx.zip
Reboot!
TWRP

Very nice compilation of the ROM. Installed fine, after complete wipes. It seems smooth and debloated enough whilst remaining functional.
Sleep works well, with no noticeable problems with any unusual wakelocks. Wifi and GPS works as expected.
Great work and thanks for sharing.

What were you expecting? It's an Intel HT chip with 1GB of RAM, GPU, 3G radio, WiFi, GPS, proximity/light/etc sensors...
You've got a PC running on a 2,000mAh battery.
Getting +24h, even +20h, out of a smartphone in normal/heavy use is as good as it gets.
Hell, I'm happy enough with any smartphone that gets me through a work day and still have some juice left in it to mess around all evening.
hmm.. possible to get kitkat home running ? I'm trying to port over but getting google search has stop err.

You are my hero <3.
There are a few criterias which you reseearch before you buy a new smartphone.
For me the most important thing is the battery duration. I've read many tests and i saw, that our RAZR I had the best bettery duration.
I know what is running in there.... so i think you are very smart, but didn't help me with your nice comment.

About KK Launcher
Sorry for de Off topic
About KK Launcher
I really do not think you need, because if seeking Apex 2.2.0 beta 1 will have the appearance of KK but with the advantages of sharing icons such as animations to navigate through the screens, etc.
look in Apex XDA thread and become Beta testers
greetings to all and good luck
I certainly I have apex long ago (pay) and I can not complain.
