I'm so hyped...
I "simulated" PA features like the fullscreen and the PIE with two apps to see how it would be to use some of PA's options...
It makes me want this rom sooo much more...
BTW, the two apps were LMT Launcher and full!screen, PIE and fullscreen options respectively...

Hm... How did you keep the status bar?
full!screen makes it impossible for me to use recent apps and the notifications...
Using Root Browser, I edited the Build.prop to get rid of the onscreen buttons. If you want to get rid of them, just put at the very end of your build.prop this line: qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 And if you want to reinstate your nav bar just delete that line

Hello Echo,

I'm pretty sure that unfortunately is not possible
You could always install a theme that looks like iOs but there aren't any good themes that actually look like iOs

go launcher ex with classic theme looks similar to iOS app drawer wise with placing apps onto one another to create a folder. The MIUI rom also has a lot of the same look as iOS but it hasnt been fully ported over to galaxy s yet
Almost impossible, iOS is closed source. This question has been asked so many times, search before posting!

There would be a lot of trouble with drivers, gsm and just everything, so it's almost impossible to port. Why don't you buy iPhone then if you want iOS?

You have three options really:
-MIUI, and maybe then find an iPhone theme if there is one
-This rom, although its Gingerbread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1964099
-There's a developer on Play Store who released almost exact replicates of iOS apps. You can find them by searching things like Hi Music, Hi Videos, etc etc
And I mean almost EXACT replicates of iOS.
So you coud get any rom you want and just download those apps to use

You could port it your self but it would be a pain in the a** but the iPhone 4 has the same CPU/GPU and ram but you would need the boot loader need a modified kernel to set proper screen size and other hardware features and since its closed source it would be better to buy a piece of sh*t iPhone and use it

There was no separate honeycomb source. It was merged into ICS source with comments. Honeycomb was tablet only ui. ICS combined tablet and phone ui. If you want
to try native tablet ui (not just launcher) try pacman rom. It has tablet ui for gapps.
Cm 6 was based on froyo and has less features than gingerbread. Ginger bread improved android a lot and made it modern and compititive mobile os. It improved memory management and newer apis. That is why many applications are 2.3 + Please Google if you want more details.
Windows phone is closed source os and legally requires license run on phone. That is why you will not see ports here on xda on non windows phone. On the other hand android being open source can you run on windows phone e.g. HTC HD 2.
Assuming you have been here for while and seeing your posts on porting and building from source I can only hope that op wasn't for trolling.

Froyo just seems worthless sorry but it just does. Honeycomb actually could be possible. Honeycomb did have a phone ui. But who would actually go through all the effort?

I may be missing it, but how do you access Google Now from the lock screen? Unfortunately, you still can't change the lock screen targets (which is just stupid), and Google isn't in the normal top position like it is on other JB phones with the ring on the lock screen.
I really don't get not allowing the user to decide the lock screen targets. I don't use the stock messaging app, but I can't change the target to open Handcent, so that a useless target I have sitting there.

Your themed navbar is great. Is there a way to make the background transparent? Thanks.

Easy (I dit it) in draw able-nodpi folder, edit softkeybarexpanded_bg_land.9 and softkeybarexpanded_bg.9 that'll let you change colors or (if you edit them to have no color) be transparent.

As the title states, this is only a beta being released by Pebble.
There are known issues as Pebble has stated:
The pairing process has some issues. We recommend first pairing in the bluetooth settings of your phone and then starting the pebble app.
You will not be able to configure an app if it is running on your Pebble. Exit the app (or watchface) before clicking the settings button.
When installing an application with the pebble tool, you will need to press the “Load” button on your phone to proceed with the install. Make sure the app is launched and in the foreground before you run pebble install.
getAccountToken() currently returns a hardcoded token.
If your are an Android developer, you might have the Android dev options of “Limit Background Processes” and “Don’t Keep Activities” checked. You need to uncheck/disable these to use the Pebble app.
The mobile app shows a “Settings” icon for all JavaScript apps, even if they are not configurable.
These known issues are subject to change, more or less problems. Seeing how it's still a beta, I'm personally not gonna rock this yet. Just thought I would share this with anybody willing to contribute to helping Pebble get their Android Appstore stable.
Give it a visit: https://developer.getpebble.com/blog/2014/02/03/Android-appstore-beta/
I've pulled the Android APK to make it easier as well, just in case everybody doesn't have a login:

Works like a charm here

Agreed the app store alone is super laggy, but the rest of the app is working fine

They've already released the app for IOS users.

They're still testing for the official Appstore for Android, hopefully that means it'll be better! :good:

I've heard from sources that it's really well put together and runs smoothly, seamlessly. I honestly can't wait to get it.
Edit: I've noticed a lot of outrage about Android not being supported first, but the thread offered by Pebble has great user feedback...

Beta9 for Android seems to be slow and laggy too.

I have a friend with an iPhone 4 running iOS7 and the app seems to have similar shortcomings to the Android beta. The MyPebble section is snappy, as it is on Android, but as soon as you search for Apps or Watchfaces it's slow and laggy. Perhaps less so than the Android version.
Hey everyone,
Since there is already a pre-existing thread about this [DEV] Pebble 2.0 with AppStore [APK][BETA] I'm going to go ahead and close this once since we don't need 2 threads on the same topic. Please feel free to continue to contribute and help out in the existing thread.
Cheers!
