WARNING: This is not a polished build, Team Vanir supports now supports all Nexus devices, but no one on the team has one with an N4.
I am looking for a person or 2 who does not mind testing an untested build or 2 for me.
WARNING: Test build -You all will be the first to test
My biggest concern is the kernel. Please have your favorite 4.2.2 kernel on your SD card ready to flash if the included one has any issues.
<link removed, still needs work>
Why should you test?
1) it makes you cool
2) As far as I can tell, Vanir has the only Linaro optimized GCC 4.7 Mako ROM on the market
3) Vanir is fully loaded and FAST.
Testing now

As I said, as far as I can tell.
There are a few using GCC 4.6. But the syntax is different in 4.7. When debugging, I checked all the linaro optimized players (including linaro who does not build qcom) and no one had 4.7.. yet

Agreed. Many Roms have the linaro, bionic, GCC, blah blah blah now.

I am not sure about Carbon; I did not look at their souce. But I am pretty sure the other two are GCC4.6 based on their repos.
But I am happy to modify my statement to one of the few with Linaro and GCC4.7. Honestly it doesn't matter, who compiles how,....Just the end result, and I think we have a damn good one
Clean flash resulted in black screen, flashed with Franco kernel still black screen. Reverting back to sabertooth for now

So i finished the port, but something is wrong with device specifics. Since the build isn't really functional, unless you are an app developer, I'm not going to invest more time into the port. Sorry guys, ill pick it up again when there is a more... useful build available to port.

I actually have a decently functioning d2att port. How to install if interested:
First make a backup
Then wipe data. You can dirty flash if you're already running cm10.1 but don't dirty flashes are a no-no.
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/p4FgJsnN
Then flash this:
http://db.tt/KoRbVtrT
But WiFi/cell service doesn't work at all yet so just understand that before you flash. Also the screen doesn't really shut off. Sort of a pain in the butt but still, its for developers haha.
Oh and also MAKE A BACKUP.
This actually isn't all my work, i just simply modified a few text files. Here is the original thread:

Most of you might have known the Catacalsym ROM (which most of you guys would know ) from the Galaxy Nexus thread. Recently I tried porting it to nexus 4 and I ended up having some broken stuff like WiFi and NFC which yet I noticed so far. So I decided to contact the developer of the ROM, atl4ntis. He says he might compile Catacalysm ROM from source to our Nexus 4 device. So before release the developer would like to get some testers. And so I was asked to look around for some other people for testing so yeah support over here and write over here if you are interested in for a test round.
ROM LINK THREAD: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1995801

Voice should just be build.prop edits because the ril binaries are compatible with the carrier versions (I know because we used blobs from the 4.2.2 GPE rom to fix radio on the Sense port)

Yeah they definitely are compatible. There is something else going on in the framework or apps. I've tried everything that I had done in the past to get data working on other 9505 ROMs.
