At&t and safestrap

Hi everyone,
I just recently bought a galaxy s4 active which as we all know is on the att network. Im new to att, safestrap and the s4 active ..im not new to android ive been mostly on t mobiles samsung phones and network. this is the info I have on my phone currently
Android 4.4.2
Baseband 1537ucucne3
Se android status enforcing
SEPF_samsung-sgh1537_4.4.2_0011
Friday may 16 2014
Secure boot status
Type - samsung
Security software version
MDF v 1.0 Release 2
So far I rooted with towelroot and installed safestrap and made a backup of the rom thats on here already.
At this point im not sure what direction to go in? Is my bootloader locked? I know there are more current versions of firmware out there should I odin to the latest? Can we install custom kernels? I would really prefer to stay on touchwiz and would be looking for a rom somewhat stockish. So far im a little lost but im learning a little. Any help, guidance would be greatly appreciated

The bootloader on the i537 cannot be unlocked yet. Work is being looked into on the Verizon/ATT standard S4. You're on the newest firmware right now, however there was an update released today (I don't recommend flashing/installing it yet until we know how it affects us).
With the locked bootloader we cannot use custom kernels. You can however use ATT S4 rom's on it that are touchwiz and safestrap based.
I can give you more information on flashing touchwiz/safestrap (SS) rom's if you'd like, and provide links with working ones.

Soooo, here's two ROM's I know that work.
Google Edition S4 / Pure Nexus Edition
Hyperdrive 18.1
Both of those ROM's work. Follow the steps in the first posts. However, with one change. When it tells you to flash modules for your phone, use these.

I doubt you will ever find a rom without any apps and boot logos.

I did not say I wanted more boot logo, I just talked to one of tmobile and tmobile apps in the phone

hi, yes it's my question but I would like to know if the original samsung rom exist for replace my samsung rom Tmobile, maybe the rom international for Note 4, normaly the international room is wihtout garbage no ? but it's possible to flash this international room on the usa note 4 ?
I think here in the usa it's not possible to buy a smartphone wiht no garbage (att, tmoblile, etc etc) no ?

hi hows it going i was wondering if there is anyway to port this amazing s6 rom so that it can be compatible with the tmobile note 4 variant which i have tried to flash it and it wont work because it is only for international sm-n910f unfortunately so hopefully a good developer can read this message i am writing and reply to me please thank you very much!

Hey i have sprint locked s6 edge. Can you help me unlock it?

@stifilz hi! i have a 920t unlock with metro pcs rom (920t1), i wanna run latest 920t stock rom but i get the unlock code mesage. help me please. i live in mexico

i had my s6 g920t variant unlocked with code. flashed g920t1 (metro pcs) stock rom and introduced the code and was succesfully unlocked but today i tried flashing g920t (t mobile) stock rom and was locked again. this time couldnt go back to metros pcs because bootloader was updated. but a xda member help me out unlock it. now im running again... he doesnt charge nothing nor has a fee. BUT he only ask for a small donation to help him. it only took him arund 4 minutes to unlock my s6 thats amazing!!!

Updated: I already contacted stif and it's done !! No more than 5 minutes. Really nice job

it was difficult due to my slow connetion but he tried many times and now my phone is unlocked:good::good:

Got my phone unlocked from t-mob. It was great experience, with a very fast response time (weekend).

You'll have to be on bootloader version 3 or below to have root! Check out the samfail thread!
Then check out this rom thread and ask the dev if he/she can add that in for you!

Right now that's the only rom for SM-N950u/u1.

What model do you have (sm-n950u/u1/w or sm-n9500)?
What bootloader version are you on?
Eg. N950U1OYM5CRL2. The 5 is the bootloader version so read the fifth spot start to read from the right to left (...."5"CRL2).
If that number is 4 or above, sorry NO ROOT option.
