How to install CWM4 on my galaxy ace S5830 ?

hi, i`m new to XDA. I would like to ask how to upgrade CWM4 on my ace s5830. my galaxy ace. version is 2.3.6 S5830DDKQ8.

Firs, get rid of your laziness, then learn to browse a forum.
Check the galaxy ace android development forum, its amongst the first stickies, "how to root, custom rom, flash.... etc".

Search dude. It's there in gerenal section. Btw cwm5 is latest for ace.

No, just flash cwm 5.0.2.6 straight away...but remember to root your phone first...

Is there any way to run cwm without over riding stock recovery like in galaxy y????

hey so yeah have my galaxy tab 2 wifi version running 4.1.1 im new to flashing so looking for advice where to start on first time rom users! i dont want any1 to say this one is best etc... just advise on a easy basic starter rom with link. i fully plan on trying more when i become used to process. and i know to root first! but will i need cwm also? thanks

Not able to find any links to root Tmobile Galaxy Note?

I have been looking everywhere for some links and proper instructions to root my galaxy note on uvma1. I found some guides but I think they are all for gingerbread. I found one for uvma1, but the instructions had no download links.
I want to install cm10.1 on this device. If anyone can give me some download link and what to flash where using odin, I will be very grateful. thanks.

Is it the same files as the ATT one? Cause I only see ATT root files. No t-mobile root files.
After that can I install cwm recovery with rom manager? After recovery is installed, it is safe to install cm10.1? thanks

Yes its the same for AT&T and t-mobile I use it and it works...

[Q] Custom Recovery for Sprint Galaxy Tab 7

I recently rooted my Sprint galaxy tab 7 and need a custom recovery for it. I have look thru the forums but all I find is old non working links. can anyone help find it custom recovery eather CWM or TWRP?

It depends on what are you going to do with it.
If for cm ROM, just unpack the ROM, look for the boot.img and flash with heimdall.

I just rooted the tablet and still have the original recovery and rom. I need the files to flash the custom recovery but all the links are outdated and non working.

My question is, what do you want the cwm recovery for?
