You have to ask the developer of that kernel.
Untill a kernel comes out you can try this.

First you will need root, and busybox installed.
Download Universal Init.d app.
Run it and push "activate".

So, I managed to mod the stock 2.1 rom with dsixda's kitchen
This rom is stock, but now has:
Root
init.d script support
Custom bootanimation support (copy bootanimation.zip to /system/media)

It is stock 2.1. It needs a 250MB system partition. Based on Stock Kernel (v20E I think)

it's v20a (v20e is for lg p500). but why i must resize partition dimension ((((
There is v20E for gt540 to.
One of biggest problem with stock rom is partition size, i get use to 280mega data partition.

Looking at it, the zip is 120MB ish. It would probably fit on a 160MB system. Just make sure you have a cwm backup and/or fastboot handy
EDIT: Needs 250MB. Tried without, and it wouldn't boot
I could be v20e. v20e is "rare" only released in baltic region and i think CES too (no idea what CES is). How did you make this rom? Softmod some elses rom or? really interested in finding out.
Edit: Can someone confirms that init.d works? I think Quarx said that init.d wont work with 2.1

Looks like v20A.
And, looking at it, looks like init.d wont work. Will look though, but I am now doubtful.
It is a soft mod based on stock 2.1. I used the dsixda's kitchen to add everything
ok, here's a stupid idea What about compiling an aosp 2.1 with sources ?
hi there,
SO how can we enable the bln in latest cm nightly (any way other than changing the kernel to a custom one)????????????????
thanks in advance, Sikorsky96
The Only Solution is flashing a Custom Kernel that Supports Bln LED notification service otherwise no other option.

I am also looking for same answer.
I found the solution , extract the files" lights.msm7k.so&lights.cooper.so" from \system\lib\hw of APOCALYPSE(12.07.09).zip, then replace to \system\lib\hw of nightly.
Sorry for my english .
Have you tried it for yourself? Does it work for sure?

I swapped the liblights of APOCALYPSE 17:06:12 against from cm-7-20130101-NIGHTLY-cooper.zip. In addition, I have flashed the Firekernel.
I have uploaded the liblights once.
installation:
1. Flash the original cm-7-20130101-NIGHTLY-cooper.zip (http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=cooper&type=nightly)
2. Flash the Firekernel (I have flashed from the 09/10/2012) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1675023)
3. Swap liblights.
I proceed as follows:
1.Download a root explorer
2.Then go to
\ system \ lib \ hw
and replace the lights.cooper.so (Unpack before)
Shortly after, it freezes. Take the battery out and back in and start the phone again.
Now should work BLN Control. For me it worked.
I hope it works well with you.
Good luck and have fun with BLN =)
Sry about my bad english.
R: !!how to activate bln in cm7.2 nightly!!!
Use ButtonLed from XDA. Does the same things as BLN buy doesen't need custom kernel or libraries to work. Only requirement is root

Better flash a stock based cutom ROM. GingerMod 4.0 has almost no mods, so it looks like the stock. You will have stock apps and all that stuff, but you will have init.d support. No one is really working on new stock ROM kernel.

There are some other stock based ROMs. Try emanon v7 or more 1.4. But you can't install theese scripts for stock ROM.

I checked those two roms. They have sooo many things added. Overclocks and lots of things that I just don't need. I guess I will need to keep searching.

OK. Now i have acess to init.d, but I cant install the "Adrenaline_Engine_4.4" via CWM, since I cant mount /system and /data.
How do I install the script? I added a attach with what's inside the zip file.
In the end, can i remove the terminal and box apps?
Sorry for all the questions, but I only entered the android world two days a go.
Thanks in advance,
FC
Well I gave "su" and "mount power" to the ES File Explorer
Extracted the script.zip to a folder and copied that 3 folders to the "/" performing merge.
This is the solution?

Dude... Actually don't do it....
If you don't understand Linux don't DO a merging on "/" filesystem.
Here, listen....
1. If you want a init.d tweaks install a Custom ROM, doing it in Stock ROM will cause some errors, since NO Developer in here using stock ROM, so no one can help you with that errors
2. You need Custom Recovery to flash Adrenaline Engine, since you already do a merging scene the permission won't same.
Listen, i know you like Stock ROM, but some Stock based stock ROM is actually quite good. I know there is overclock feature you don't need JUST DON'T USE it if you don't know.
N00BS.
just copy the content of system folder and laste them into /system
also you will need to set permission for every file and folder you copied

Does this work with v15? I ask because afwall hasn't been updated to support the new directory to run the start up data leak fix. (I made a ticket on github a year ago about it for afwall.) I don't begrudge the author, I think they're probably quite busy. However, I am unsure when the issue will be fixed.
So I'm hoping someone can help me out, I don't know how to do it manually, anyway...
take care.
