Initial release...
I've disabled the bootanimation for now as I don't like how sh$tty the standard bootanimations looked on this device. So it will just be a black screen on boot up for now. I will be creating a custom one for future releases. ;)
OTA Updating will not be activated for a couple releases. I want to test the waters here first.
This has the latest kernel from pershoot
I forgot to fix the dimensions in the Lockscreen Target Setup so I will be fixing those for next release. You will have to set them up while in Portrait Mode. ;)
Make sure you have CWM or TWRP Recovery
MAKE A NANDROID
Boot into recovery
Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, and wipe dalvik cache, then go into mounts & storage and format system (if using CWM). To format system w/TWRP, select Wipe then System!!!(If already on AOKP 4.2.2 you should be able to just wipe cache & dalvik. If you have ANY ISSUES, FULLY WIPE BEFORE POSTING IN THIS THREAD!!!)
Flash ROM
Flash Gapps
Reboot
You have to flash Gapps every time you flash an update!

I updated the wrong page. This is ICS. The jellybean is next. ill be doing 2 different versions.

Please add for P7510 WIFI version.
I almost though it was for P7500 3G version.

I think task is hinting that he believes he will be able to port the stock ics up to Jelly Bean. That's why this is "the beginning" of that. I do agree though, the title is miss leading but can't hate at task.

I got everything screwed while here at work. I'm reuploading the rom right now and should be back up in a few. I'm waaaaaaay too busy!!!

Just a little question what's the hate about p7500? I mean it's the same device with a modem and 1 extra icon and 1 extra menu for 3g options and thetering
I know you only own a p7510 but also does pershoot and Maple syrup but they supports 3G as well... How hard could it be for you to support it too

AOKP is an awesome custom Android firmware. (just like MIUI and CyanogenMod).
AOKP is based on AOSP and looks as vanilla as possible, and focusses on lots and lots of user-friendly features. What makes it different from CM is that there are many more user-customizable features.​

This ROM is a combined work of all members of KangXperiaProject.
AOKP is not officially supported on any of the Xperia smartphones. So we made a Kang XperiaProject team comprising

We maintain sources from which we build (not winzip porting) AOKP for all the Xperias.
We are not any great developers (all teenagers). We are just trying to provide users with more ROM options

Copy ROM zip and Gapps to sdcard
If coming from stock, flash kernel that has recovery using fastboot (not needed if you have recovery)
Boot phone, go into recovery (press vol-up(2012) or back(2011) when led is purple)
IF COMING FROM SOME OTHER ROM, make factory wipe then go into mounts/storage and format system (not needed if updating AOKP)
install zip from sd card then flash gapps if you want them (kernel is flashed automatically with zip for 2012 models, for 2011, fastboot flash the kernel)
reboot and enjoy

And I am gutted I wont be able to try it, thats becuase I am at work and dont have much time to read the thread properly

As per my request in the other thread can you please state whether this is or isn't tested by yourself so people know first as from what I saw in the CM10 thread you've just used the tx repo which hasn't been confirmed working I don't believe. Until you or a team member has either device you need to leave the message in both threads.

those are bugs imo
neither me nor fxp team nor anyone from cm team has TX so it'll be hard to fix such problems

i guess these bugs are probably kernel related.. i will go back to stock for now i guess :crying:

is the recovery page suppose to be upside down here too?

The whole ROM is upside down for me. I have a working "right side up" recovery, but the ROM still shows upside down. Thoughts?

Have a look in sensors.conf in system/etc? Could be something there

Oh I see this issue I've seen in Dark Passion ROM for TX, the recovery and the whole ROM after flashing is inverted, upside down! The developers are saying maybe I have downloaded the wrong file but I tried it 3 times still the same result.
How to add this line? ro.sf.hwrotation=180

I respect d developers.
I don't know anything about android development but I know a lot about computers.
I have masters degree on software
have advanced diploma on computer hardware and networking..
So I know what is development and how people consume time on making rom
But I was expecting something which fits on my requirements

Seems, i think you should stick out with MORE v1.4 or v2.0, maybe Chocobread V3.2, since Stock ROM is best.

anyway, there's so many roms for galaxy mini that i can't even understand how one can be not satisfied?

how about the browser when pop up scroll down the browser goes to close :crying: i need the pop up for login free wifi :silly:

Make your own ROM if you don't like any of them...
I use Chocobread and I like it...
Or A_U's Slim CM7 (CM9 and 10 are not too stable)

We are a busy team! Every Team Member has lives outside of XDA.
You cannot expect us to sit in front of the computer all day and develop Android. Please do not ask for ETA's.
The update will come when we release it. Sometimes, there is a good reason for why we have not released an update in a while.
Please be patient with us, we will do as we promise. Updates will come.​

We are not responsible for your device! We do not guarantee that everything will work the way it's supposed to.
Not every device is created equal, what might work on our devices may not work on yours or vice versa.
Please be a responsible person when it comes to flashing. This is a mature site, don't act immaturely when your device becomes problematic.
If you cry and blame us for "destroying" your device, we will laugh at you. Your device is your responsibility, act like it.

hai! i think you copy the thread from nexus 7 right? do you think that delete about the information of changelog is better since for i9100g, this is first build.

Just install any launcher like nova or apex ... I have included trebuchet in other build but I have built for the device so adjust till next build is up ...

Again, Built using a 1GHZ Processor with only 2gb of RAM so even if you don't like the ROM, at least appreciate the time and effort which went into this ROM!​

-No Carbon specific bugs as far as i'm aware
---4.2.2 bugs---
IF IVE MISSED SOMETHING LET ME KNOW
- No WiFi
- No Bluetooth
- No ADB
- No Camcorder
- No Native playback
- To get SD working you have to go to developer options, enable then disable debugging and it will reboot with recognized sd card!
- MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS: IT WILL FIX APP INSTALLS

This ROM was source built using my own custom device tree, but failed so i ported it using Nikhils as a base, so i'm not sure whether this counts as port or source build but i'm counting it as a source build :3
DOWNLOADS
Well this ROM has been in unreleased development for a while now and i have been making fixes and implementing those Nikhil has fixed! (This Guys a machine) So that's why we start at build 3 :3
Build #3: My 3rd Build, But your initial release as it still has a lot of bugs!
Gapps: These are Custom Gapps which fix the keyboard fc!
Kernel (NO OC): 100% Credit to Nikhil For this!

INSTALLATION
You should know what to be doing by now, if not this shouldn't be the first ROM you flash!
- Clean Wipe
- Flash ROM
- Flash Kernel
- Reboot
- Enable then Disable ADB
- Re-Root
- Enable and Disable and check SD is recognized
- Enjoy

Alright guys, I just had to clean this thread up already do to some foul language. Just so everyone knows, foul language is against the XDA forum rules. I don't want to see this kind of posting behavior again.

yeah, whats so hard to understand about that? the Rom isnt pre-rooted, so you have to re-root your phone or use it without root

Root using Superboot but when it gets to " Starting apps " do a bat pull and restart then it will be fine

I just use the flashable root from the hasoon toolkit....I guess that's fine?

That's OT but yeah i'm 16 today, which means i can only gain more experience in building and i'm working to bring you guys some kick ass ROMs, 4.1.2 and 4.2.2! Just wait it out! ( Restored Topic! )

hey guys, i steel have a problem with superuser i have done everything thats says about the reroot, i have root acces on the terminal emulator when i'm typing (su) but i can't get the root acces on the file manager, so i can't fix the "app not instaled" eny help please
