anyway to disable sensors

anyway to disable sensors?
and would that save battery life?
no u cant switch off the sensors...because most of the senors are the integral part of the OS.....u can use power saving mode to increase ur battery backup.....and switching them off wont make much difference coz they are made to use very less energy to work on....their power consumption is very low....
ok thanks

Difference Between Sleep Mode and Data Connection in Power Saver

I was just wondering that is the difference between the two. The description seems to be the same in both but they are located in 2 difference places. Sleep Mode under Power in settings and Data Connection under Power Saver. If both are turned on is there any conflict or whatnot?

The power saver options turns off your data connection as soon as the screen is off then reconnects it when the screen is on. The one under power waits until your phone has been inactive for a while (6+ hours in my experience) and turns then turns the connection off. They won't conflict because enabling the one under power saver will naturally make the other one redundant.

Oh great! Thanks for the explanation. Okay so let's say power saver turns off your data when your screen is off, what happens to messaging services like what's app, viber and Facebook chat? I won't be notified of any of these when the screen is turned off on power saver mode?

Extreme power saving mode??

I have the M8 on sprint. I see the regular power saver, but can't find the extreme option.
We don't have it. Yet.
The extreme setting is there after latest update

[Q] Battery Saver

I have seen battery drain on our device after the lollipop(5.0.2) update,
My question is, has anybody tried porting the stamina mode from Sony devices?, is that even possible?
Anything similar out there ?
Be it the black and white power saver in Samsung/HTC or the Stamina mode in Sony devices, these things really help to make the phone last long when its really necessary, is anything on par available?
My request to who ever can take this on, port the Battery savers from these manufacturers
Search forma powernap its an xposed module supposedly stamina functionality.
Some thing that works for me is to disable Google location reporting, disable WiFi scanning allways available.

the Power saving mode not working?

I think the power saver mode on my p10 is quite not working now but for past coupke of days its fine because as far as i know whenever i on the power saver mode the brightness would go slight dim and theres an indicator on the notification but right now within minutes of usage the brightness would go back to normal like as if the power mode was turned off, thats why every now and then i would go to settings and turn on off and on the power saver mode. Howwould i know if the power saver mode is turned on and working? Do i need to reset my phone? , clear cache? Thanks
