Just curious as to if/when the 4.2 update will come out as the 4.1 update that arrived this morning still did not resolve group threaded text messaging issue. I know 4.2 has it built into the software thanks to a guy over at android central, but i was just wondering if this software version will even come to the TL? Anybody know anything on that?
Sony have given no official announcement about 4.2 to any of the xperia T/TL/TX/V range.

How do I customise the signature on xda premium app?

I've been running Android 4.1.2 for more than a month now, thanks to AOKP-Kangxperia, so I don't feel the urge to install the new rom released by Sony.
However I wonder if the new rom performs any update to the internal firmware of any component, in which case it would be advisable to install it at least once, even if I go back to AOKP right after.
¿Does anybody know this?.
Re: Official 4.1.2 update --> ¿firmware?

Darn, I guess I'll have to flash then.
¿How did you know NFC was being updated, any changelog available?.
Re: Official 4.1.2 update --> ¿firmware?
At boot it said "nfc update, please wait" or something like that

how to get Vanila jelly bean with sony camera app & features on tmobile usa xperia z?
after having vanilla jelly bean on xperia arc s and then galaxy nexus i like the clean vanilla and the stock google experience.
how can i enjoy my xperia z on tmobile usa with a vanilla jelly bean and with the sony camera app and other sony features like xloud and bravia?
is it possible even on a locked bootloader? i have root and recovery but i prefer just vanilla not a custom rom with more features.
thanks for those able to make it come true [=
Unlock bootloader for vanilla and spent a lot of time on porting framework for Sony apps

You can't install vanilla Android, since it relies on a kernel other than stock.
For that you'll need to unlock your bootloader. And you can't do that on a carrier phone.
Yep can't be done on a locked bootloader as said above and there is no way now or ever to unlock the 6606 bootloader so for us t-mobile customers it's only stock based roms that have lb in the thread title

That i already knew but what about sony's official vanilla google experience? Will that also need an unlocked bootloader or will that be flashable like any other stock rom?
I just want the looks of vanilla completely with the jelly bean holo theme with the stock people app dialer email browser apps. Just keep the sony apk camera

Then you've bought the wrong version of the phone. Yes Sony aosp also needs an unlocked bootloader (custom kernel). The only way to get the stock look is skins.

Heee, does anybody know if IT is possible to make an experia style Android 4.4 for the xperia SP? I thought about flashing CM11 but I would love to keep the original camer app in 4.3 and walkman, album etc.
Or can I Just copy the .Apk's in that case?

Cm11 and stock xperia roms have different framework if you copy the.apks it won't work! its possible if Sony releases official 4.4 for us. Cm11 is aosp based rom it's not possible.

This APK was pulled from a Xperia running stock 4.4. This does not imply anything for the ZR.
