Hey guys, was wondering if anyone on here happens to have an Xperia T LT30a on the Bell mobility LTE network?
if so, would some one be able to make a ftf file of there stock ROM, and upload it or if anyone knows of a link to download the stock firmware for the bell version (I made the mistake of not making my own ROM when I first got the phone, sense flashing a custom ROM I have lost my LTE ability)

When downgrading from 4.2.2 to 4.1.2, you need to wipe all data or it won't work. Why do you need the 'Generic US' firmware anyway? Does it contain any special features which you need and which are not available in 'Generic TW'? It's the worst customization when it comes to updates..
it doesn't have any special features, i don't knowt what in Generic TW firmware have. I just worry that if i flash other region firmware i won't get update over the air later. and i think the original firmware is good for me.

Today, Generic US has been updated to 10.3.A.0.423. You don't need an FTF to flash this firmware. Just follow this guide to change your customization number to 1271-0119 and install the update with Sony PC Companion: [GUIDE] Download ANY firmware customization from Sony & create an FTF with Flashtool

LTE firmware is for C6603. The C6602 contains different hardware and has no LTE support. If you flash firmware for the wrong device, you might get connectivity problems and you will no longer receive any software updates from Sony (because they check the first 8 digits of your IMEI number, which is different for C6602 and C6603).
I just updated to 10.3.A.0.423 last night using a FTF I made from PC Companion. Posted here in case anyone needs it

Just noticed that using C6603 firmware for my C6602 phone wasn't a very good idea.... Sony PC Companion doesn't allow me to update it.
After I reflash the C6602 version of firmware, will I be able to automatically update my phone using Sony PC Companion? My phone is a C6602 bought in China but the Chinese firmware has been flashed out of the device.
same issue i have a C6602 with C6603 rom on it

Were you able to get the phone back to stock? Also is there not a way of flashing the ROM without using the PC and ftf.
I prefer flashing from the phone on CWM because I'm lazy, Is that not an option for installing a stock rom for this phone?

If you find a flashable zip with stock rom, you can flash stock.
But if you have your booloader locked, chances are you lose your root, recovery and go back to barbone kernel.

thanks for the info. Im not 100% knowing if the bootloader is locked or not. I just assumed its unlocked because the phonr is rooted and i'm running AOKP on it. i guess the main reson i want ti know is because i know its not the correct rom for this phone. it works fine but it should be the one that should be for the phone. not c6603 when the phone is a c6602. would you happen to know the link for a cwm flashable rom version of c6602?

try to download your version, but it temp unavailable, can you enable it
So I've searched and attempted several times using, EMMA, SUS, PCC and various other tools I came across and I've had NO LUCK. I've an LT30P with XperimenT 2.3 installed - not by myself and I'd like to return it to base ATT firmware if I could for a possible sale and an update to the Sony/ATT firmware and JB might help the cause. I know NOTHING and I've learned that apparently the "bootloader" on my machine cannot be unlocked. The phone functions well and there's nothing that I'm aware of that are issues but if asked about ATT and "stock" I can't either explain or say here I'll correct it if you like.
There are no back-ups available on the Internal or 32GB SD card that has been added.
Might this be a "YAWNER" for "gregbradley"? Maybe but I'm prepared for that. Has it been explained or covered? I can't stumble on it. Do I know what to do with the information if it's presented to me? Likely not. Care to help? I'd appreciate it!
Thanks,
-Dave

Stock ATT is. Actually the LT30at not the P. Flash the latest. LT30at ftf file using flashtools to get back to stock.

Use flashtool and flash ATT's FTF. But why would you switch back to att rom when the Xperia T firmware works on all Xperia TL's and is much faster than the stock att. Also the lt30p firmware will most likely get a 4.2.2 than the LT30at
Hello
Just wondering if everyone on bell with an Xperia z (c6616) is still only on 4.1.2
or if i am just not getting any updates, i see a lot of others like C6603 getting updates, i assume it could just be taking some time in canada.
Thanks
You can flash any other region's 4.2.2 ftf with flashtool. The only difference really is the bands supported. If you really wanted to, you can not flash the radio and just flash the rom, as long as it's C6603

Any tips on how to do this? I've been hesitant to falsh the C6603 rom because I didn't want to screw up the bands.

You can uncheck what you don't want flashed (modem I think it was... or was it baseband? Can't remember, but check the stickies for flashing info)
Hi guys, I in Vietnam and I have a Xperia TL Lt30at, I bought it from a store in my country, now I want to upgrade firmware 4.3 for my phone. But I don't know what firmware for it, as I search, that just has firmware 4.3 for Xperia T/TX. I just wondering my phone can read my sim, can use gsm and 3G in my country, so is that unlocked? If it was unlocked, can I use it as every Xperia T (Lt30p) other and up every firmware as Lt30p?
Sorry for my bad english
Hello. I am also using Xperia TL. I can answer your questions :
1) TL can use any rom of Xperia T, not TX made for looked bootloader.
2) You can test your phone with Vietnamese mobile network. If it doesn't run, you should ask your seller to unlock network for you.

Had you used search before posting, you would have found my guide on upgrading LT30at to 4.3. LT30p and LT30a/t are the same devices. The only difference is that that a devices have LTE radios in them. Since you use only 3G network, you don't need to worry about basebands.

PureXT is based on stock. Sony no longer upgrades software for its at&t devices, so you have to use stock-based custom ROMs if you want to be up to date.

Let me get this right:
- you own LT30at: Xperia TL with USA at&t branding, not Rogers from Canada, which is LT30a
- you live in Viet Nam and you don't have 4G/LTE network where you live
- you want to upgrade the firmware to 4.3 and keep all native Sony features
All you have to do is follow my guide. There is no 4.3 coming for LT30at via Sony Update Service.
"ROM cook" stuff doesn't mess up your device because it's basically the stock ROM with some APKs added/changed. I don't know why you worry about losing at&t branding - it's absolutely useless to you since you aren't in the USA.
Moreover, flashing using the flashtool, you will lose all of your apps, settings, and root access. If you are fine with that, then do go ahead and pick any TFT firmware for T or TL from the list and then flash it.

The only way I know Is to get the right ftf file for your handset and flash it back to 4.4.4, if you can't find the right firmware for your phone, then you may have to create your own using xperifirm and flash tool. either way you will keep iemi number and be able to flash it on a locked bootloader.
