BE2 only work on video app and gallery app? Someone correct me if im wrong. If its only on those 2 app, any way to turn it on everywhere? Homescreen browser etc etc.

Impossible to turn it on everywhere, even for devs. It's a GPU thing baked into the video decoder. For images it only works in the Album app. For video it works in all apps that use the hardware decoder (Movies app, MX Player, YouTube, ...).

Thx for info. That sucks, wish it was on home screen and browser also. Since i use the home screen and browser alot.

Music playback while recording

Is it possible to record video in stock camera while music is playing in background (using Poweramp). Is this possible or does anyone know of a different camera app that would allow this?

I don't know any other music app that does this except cloud player, works flawless

Is there a way to take use the camera with music playing?

I want to be able to use the camera while listening to music. Currently, it stops all playback while using the camera. Is there any file or settings I can flash if I'm rooted? I currently have GravityBox but I do not see a setting for it.

Try a different music player app. Some background play and will let you snap photos while playing music.

was the pop out floating video feature removed from the Video app?

I used to have an option for it but I don't anymore. does anyone else still have it? I'm on version 7.2.98.1 of Video Player.

Currently using samsung video player. Able to have floating video.

I'm using the Samsung video app and its still on there. My version is up to date with 1.4.05.2

Have you installed both video apps (video player and library)
Open Video and bottom left icon is pop up video player
