I have a mid tablet and need a Rom please help me

Can anyone help me I have brought a mid tablet an it's not running very well so I was looking for a Rom that would make It a bit quicker. If you look on androidtabletbay .com it's around $74 and it's a allwinner a10. I do not know what roms I can put on it any help would be appreciated thanks

I don't think you would be able to install a custom ROM on that device. It's just because there are so many budget tablets and there are no developpers for them.

My phone developer owns this tablet. He has CM10 builds for the same on his ftp. His xda username is "Quarx"

Rule #1 of xda, search. Search on xda for whatever you're looking for, if you didn't find it, google it. And if you can't find it there, that means it doesn't exist.

Look at the link in the first page of this thread. When you click that link it takes you to a forum for your tab. The FIRST sticky tells you how to get CWM Recovery for your tablet.
I know you did that and backed up your tab before you flashed it so you should just be able to use CWM recovery to restore the backup you made before you flashed a new ROM.

I was in a hurry and didn't back up plus I crnt see anything on the screen

You need to start reading and following directions. It's not difficult but it requires you to actually read the steps.

Cool, and I seem to get where you're coming from given some other stuff that's happened with devs' work over the last couple of months (threads being locked until sources posted, etc). There is a such thing as too many rules. Hey I know you're not saying anything as I read the OP, just my two bits.

I know I haven't said much of why I had stuff pulled but I'll leave it at this....I'm really frustrated with xda and what seems to be a lot of politics that comes with it. I will eventually repost all my work and then some as my frustrating wears off. As of right now I think I am going to give up developing until I can get a better laptop or the parts to upgrade my desktop. It sucks when you are building stuff and you can't multitask at all because of the build hogging all the CPU power

Its not for sure that counter-info is stored at the exact same block in that partition for I8190.
As you see in that thread its extreamly important to get everything right, or you might end up with a hardbrick.
I wouldn't try it without someone investigate it first.

Yes but its the same code. Its already been tried and it didnt work.

@Zahovay, @compacity is right, you can only try it out for yourself. We can only tell you things based on experience. We can guide you but asking for a good rom for so and so purposes can only take you so far. You have to just try it yourself because its personal preference.

I totally agree with that but if you read back it was not me who started to flame. And I do not agree with the second part of your sentence. I do not have to try out every single rom. I can ask forum members about their ideas. If someone write an opinion about a rom and I check it. And XDA forum says that it is full fake, waste of credit, I no need to try it out while members told me 3 different real rom. Those rom were called fine by many players.
Any other clever guy who is bored and want to explain me that I must stop asking question in a forum?

GamerzROM is running cm 10.1 as base it have xperia advanced launcher and semaphore kernel and specail tweaks that the dev made which makes it blazing fast in games. I mean i can play dungeon hunter 4 fine and pretty much every game just fine

Thats it everythings fine
Just go into semaphore manager set the governor to ondemand and liveoc to what you think is best for your phone no need to tweak any further the developer did them all ready and they are in the rom so thats it.
New version will be coming out soon and it will be much faster and better so we are all waiting for it

Uk firmware

I got my gear last week for Christmas but I don't know if I want to keep it. It's pretty pointless at the minute but I've read that if I change the firmware to the uk one it will be more useful. Can someone please point me in the right direction on how to do this or a root. I'm an extreme newbie and have no clue how any of this software stuff worms
