[Please Read] Help Ryan Scott - Galaxy S II I9100G Android Development

Hey y'all.
I've been a big fan of XDA's and a thankful ROM consumer rom the first day I got my first phone. Right now sitting here drinking my first coffe, I read this and thought, it's time for all of us (possibly) to come together and show some love and help:
http://www.xda-developers.com/andro...lletin-please-help-ryan-scott-chiefzreloaded/
I urge you all: If there is something you can do, try to give back some of the benefits, we all were able to enjoy with our custom ROMs and maybe let's show the world what "crowdfunding" can do and that the internet is not as anonymous and sterile, as everyone thinks
Peace out,
JR

My dear friend took her 13 year old son into the ER monday night and was told he possibly has Lymphoma (a form of cancer). She saw her pediatrician today and called me crying, saying simply "It is not good" then hung up.
Please, whatever your beliefs, could you help me get a Prayer Chain going and send healing and love to James Miller and his family. He just turned 13 and is a bright and loving kid.
I know xda may not seem like the place to ask this, but I feel that it is the ideal place. So many of us from all around the world come here, and if we all just sent good, healing, loving thoughts James' way...maybe just maybe, the power of prayer and positive thinking will give him the strength and courage he will need for the upcoming dark days.
I am a cancer survivor and I can say it is damned scary, chemo sucks, and it is hard to stay positive. I know you don't know James, but think if it was your child or kid brother.
Thank you for your time reading this, and for your caring thoughts and prayers.
Jenn
I just saw your post and even though its been a couple of weeks I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your friends son James. My mother is going through her 3rd bout of fighting Ovarian cancer and is undergoing chemo now. Let your friend and James know that I will be praying for him and hoping that the new year will bring better news for him and them..........MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP HIM SAFE.
Well, I don't believe in god, but I do hope he gets better.
Thank you both. We have got some promising news...while the test results are not yet official, as some tests take quite some time to culture, it is looking promising that he may not have Lymphoma. They are also testing for Leukemia. Hopefully both test results will show negative and give credence to the "promising" predictions by doctors.
Thanks again for keeping them in your thoughts and prayers.
Happy New Year.
hi mate, keep faith in god, he'll definitely keep him safe.
Adieu..
I am non beliver in god but... i do feel sory for him and if he was my kid id also be cryin my eyes out
i do hope he gets 100% better!!
God know's what he's doing. But that's not going to keep me from praying, and i hope, i really do, that James will be safe.
Yusuf
i will say a prayer for james. may the Lord bless you.
sorry just read this one
may God be with his healing hands perform a miracle for this child... hope he is alright now
well i can write all the most positive things in the world or the most negative things but it really wont make too much difference ,this looks bad.The little fella has no choice but to believe in himself to make it thru no matter what.
Will say a prayer for James and his family! Thanks for letting us know.
Well after months of testing, the doctors have ruled out Lymphoma...however, James does have over-active lymph nodes which if not kept in check, may one day turn into Lymphoma. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes, I have passed them on to his family...and please keep them coming. The goal now is to keep him well, and keep his body well regulated so that we don't have another scare like this one.
Hi,
Jenn I read you and I thing he will rehabilitate very soon. My friend tell me about this form. He is a madical sudent.
I shall concern with him for you. GOD MAY BLESS HIM AND HIS FAMILY.
I prayer for James, god will help him.............

OT: Anyone else enjoying all the drama?

I don't know about you guys, but all this drama between GB/CM9/ICS with hardbricks left and right is exciting to watch. I do feel bad for the brickers though...but all this tension is damned entertaining. I especially enjoy everyone coming together to share their experiences and to help each other out.
Keep up the good work everyone! Enjoy your devices!
It definately is amusing, XDA's own little ICS soap
The only thing that bothers me is people still recommending Stunner or other LP6 based roms in several threads. Somehow it seems fair they brick their devices as well, that'll teach em to read

Help me showing support

If you don't like my project, please move to another thread and don't blame me. Thank you very much for your time and/or help! You're doing us a great favor!

Hello everybody,
From my own experience I know that teenagers suffering from cancer are most of the time a forgotten group. There are not much (psychological and fun) activities for them to do, to deal/cope with the cancer they have. They don't get the chance to express their emotions in their own way. They don't get the chance to just forget that they're sick, and enjoy the things that they can do. It's so important that they can do this and have the opportunity to do this.
Read my story/experience about how I felt when I had cancer (testis carcinoma with metastases on lungs and liver). I was a teenager at that time and there was no single activity for me to do. I was just alone in my hospital room, trying to fight and to deal with the cancer. There was no time for me to forget the pain and heavy fight. But I'm going to chance that!
What I'm going to do is to build a music room for teenagers in my hospital (for the cancer department), to let them enjoy music and let them do whatever they want. So that they can forget for a moment that they're sick. And the most important thing is that I want to make people aware of this problem. They need to see this forgotten group! But it costs money that I don't have and can't get a job for (consequentes of the treatment I had).
If you have some spare time please take a look at the special page I've made to raise money:
http://www.indiegogo.com/kidsmakemusic
Please help me out with this project, even a dollar will help a lot!
Kind regards and a lots of love from us!
Martijn
ps. If you don't like this project please don't blame me and let this pass by! But if you do like this and don't have a spare dollar please share it with all your friends and family and let them take a look at it. I'm not forcing anyone to give a little donation, it's your own choice. And I respect your opinion. And if you need more information about this project please contact me!

Hey everyone! Cassdroid's brother here

Hey guys, I know that this is completely random, and I have been wanting to do this for quite awhile, But I am Jessie Dutton, Cassdroid's Brother.
I know that people in the Android community meant the world to her, and I felt it was my obligation to let those closest friends to her, be able to hear how Ivy and her family is doing.
But as well, I have a LG3, and I remember years ago, my sister took a picture when I had my Original EVO, making fun of me because it wasn't rooted or anything haha.
So I also wanted to register here, to learn and make some new friendships a long the way.
I am not 100% sure how these forums work. I have only been on a few, mostly "wheeling" ones that my sister and I joined.
Well please either message me with private questions or conversations, or post here!
