Guys I have Galaxy Mini and Corby 2 ... but my mini screen is broken ... so i was thinking if i could transfer my corby 2 screen on my Mini(s5570)
I just thought they have the same screen... is that possible?

[Q] CFW for I8200 (port, anything)?

Hey all,
I recently bought the S3 Mini (I had a galaxy s2 two years ago with CM...). After buying it, I saw that I bought the I8200 version (which I didn't know it exists). I have already rooted the device and so on but my question is: will there ever be a custom firmware/recovery (portet from the I8190?) or something similar in the near future? because I miss CM so hard... So if there is any developer who can offer something, this would be great!!

Everyone knows that there are many fakes for samsung phones. specially korean and vietnam as I know. So I want to buy a real original Galaxy S III I9305 . So Can you tell me some real ways to find out that it is a original or fake? What are the tricks to detect the original? What are the special features in the original one
And I want to know Can I change the full housing of Galaxy S III I9305. Can I get original full housing with silver line and back cover from anywhere?

If the price seems to good to be true, its fake
A few clues in this video h t t p : / / w w w . youtube.com/watch?v=znIXpN-vhSk , just remove the spaces
just remember not all fakes are the same spec
hands on experience is the best way to tell
go to a few shops and ask to look at a copy s3 first, then ask for orignal to look at
go to settings / about device and look at the model number (my fake s4 had a flashing cursor here and you could change the name to what you wanted)
then select status and scroll to the bottom where it should say Official

[Q] I8190 s3 Mini I8200N S3 mini Screen advice

Hi, could anyone please advise if the lcd and touch screen for I8190 s3 Mini is compatible with the I8200N s3 Mini.
I tried asking a chat adviser on the Samsung site, he was unable to tell me as he was not a tech and they were all very busy.

No don't think so mate, although they look the same, internal connections & screws I think are different

Exactly what I was wondering.
What I have found out via the WIKI is that there has been new version numbers since I8190 s3 mini and the purpose is better CPU/custom roms & things like that but the displays to me are the same, I have looked at I8190 images against the broken I8200N screen I stripped out & the components, ribbon, well everything looks the same.
Next week I will be purchasing a complete digitizer/lcd & frame for a I89190 for around £35.00 off fleebay to try in my I8200N.
I will update this thread when it has arrived & been tested

I can now confirm that the I8190 s3 Mini is compatible with the I8200N s3 Mini.
Thus why you don't see a I8200N screen on fleebay of other sites.

Since that time I never had my samsung, I changed to sony ... right now I have a compact xz2, but I like this samsung ... would it be worth the change? in my country is 825 dollars the black version .. I did not see elsewhere that this at that price ..
I also have the option to buy MI 9 ..
I find this samsung very interesting

You are the only person who can decide if it's worth a change. I have a Pixel 3 XL, but I upgraded to it for a better screen, more RAM, and better battery. I think it'll be a good phone and I'm excited for it, however.

Imo, u can never go wrong with a new Samsung phone. I have a S9+ that works perfectly fine but I am upgrading to the S10+ because I can afford it and because I want more memory, storage, bigger display, bigger battery, and a better camera than I have right now.

I'll be getting it for my reasons. You should try a few demo's, etc. to assist in your decision making process...
