Some days ago I found radio Ver 28M...i dun knw its latest or not...but I'm using 11M...battery life is awsmmm...This radio is suggested me by some Indian users...Since ua from India/Pune i wil recommend u radio Ver 11M...
flashing instructions-
1.Rename Radio Image to radio.img and place it where u installed adb and fastboot drivers...
2.Connect ua phone to pc via Fasboot
3.Open command prompt(Assuming U know how to use adb and fastboot) type fastboot flash radio radio.img
4. Sit back for few seconds and u done..
P.S... there is another method to flash radio PG32IMG method via bootloader...steps are as follows...
1.rename ua radio file to PG32IMG and copy it in ua root of sd card
2. reboot phone in boot loader...
3.It will scan ua sd card for update file and when it found update file (PG32IMG) then press yes
4.Ua will flash in less than one min and u done...
i personally recommend u to flash radio via adb/fastboot method...It wont change ua main ver of ua phone..It helpes u when u want to rever back to S-On... Cheers...
Hey, have you tried the 19M radio ?

Almost got heart attack dude..! Scary Procedure
Let me tell you happened..
Fastboot method dint work it says waiting for device forever..
I guess it needed engineering hboot mine is HBOOT-6.13.1002
So I tried zip method .:fingers-crossed:
The progress bar started and stuck at 90% and ripped my heart for couple of seconds.. :crying: Biting my nails
then said update process completed.:silly:
After that I rebooted the device and it got stuck at bootanimation and I thought i just bricked my device really (Kapalat !!) :crying:
I wanted to go in recovery then but this zip dint let me So I removed sd card and rebooted and wished to go to recovery
Recovery interface came but seconds count went till 20 sec but I was not able to go in recovery
then it said unable to find sd card
I put sd-card in and I got into recovery
I was scared like **** I formated all partition except sd-card and restored the nandroid back up :fingers-crossed:
Now I am online typing this scary story ..My Incs and me Alive again.
Thanks Buddy .. :highfive:

Try to put a correct ROM zip with the name PG32IMG.zip on your SD card and then boot into bootloader(Power + Vol Down), it'll should pick up the zip from sd card and update it.
Follow the onscreen instructions to update.

You simply need to extract the Rom.zip from the RUU exe.

Search. There are several threads that details the process you need to follow.
THANK SOOO MUCH!!! i post back if something goes wrong
heyy um srry i have to questions, first when i run the ruu.exe and check my roaming for the rom it isnt there and second can i create a gold card without a phone and if i can, can i flash cwm onto my phone?

When you run the RUU.exe, it will uncompress the exe and you will find the ROM.zip file in the %TEMP% directory, which may or may not be the roaming directory you searched in. I would also check the Local and LocalLow folders. Also, you need to keep the RUU.exe screen opened while you are searching the directories because when you exit the program it will clean up the %TEMP% directory.
You could attempt to flash CWM back on your phone by using the PG32IMG.zip file and see if HBOOT will pick it up. If that is successful, then you can flash a ROM and you should be good to go.

yes first rule is unlock bootloader...posts all around this forum
second is to install cwm recovery, without this u cannot root.
thirdly u need to flash the root.zip file in cwm to enable root itself. easy to do, check out this forum, ive added in some tutorials and guides to help u along the way
how to unlock bootloader
To unlock the bootloader when i visit htcdev.com and select my device,it says hboot update required...now what does that mean?
Exactly as it ssays, update your hboot.
Once updated u can unlock the bootloader. Its safe, we have all done it.
U will need your phone plugged into PC and on charge mode to do that.

can you elaborate on this? truer recovery's? we only have 2, I'm also assuming this is when adding recovery to the phone itself?
if you can get a photo or screenshot showing me it may help.
Sorry it was tryed a few recoveries. I have since manages to get root but now my hboot says main version is older and just wants me to reboot phone so can't.access recovery
Sent from my HTC Salsa C510e using xda app-developers app
You're hboot will be the latest. As for recovery we use 5.0.2.6 really. If its not letting you boot into recovery, tends to mean it's not installed correctly. Once recovery is there it can always be accessed. The root itself should have taken care of the basics and given u superuser access.
If u have working root. Go and install superSU from the market, its better. Works faster and has fewer problems. Just remember once u install it. Open the app and update the binary.
This should correct a load of root errors.
If u have to, reinstall recovery again. Could be a bad install.
BigBearEvo is using Xparent tapatalk 2 ICS on CM7
Which hboot version do you have? When it is 1.08. then it is fine.
How did you flash your recovery? Maybe something went wrong in that step. The only working recoveries are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791707. Commonly used is the ClockworkMod Recovery and a description how to flash is also there.
Maybe do some photos of your screen to find out the problem.
Got root access just I can't I need to.get to hboot to install.recovery or.get to recovery Rom manager just takes me to the hboot screen where it says main version is older its bugging me

when you get to these screens post up your HBOOT version.
You cannot unlock your Bootloader without updating to HBOOT V1.08
right u don't need hboot to install recovery.
u need bootloader/fastboot to install recovery.
connect your cable. pc & phone
select charge option on phone
open a cmd prompt window (DOS)
now you need to follow the adb cmds.
myself i have it loaded as follows, change yours accordingly
c:/cd android-sdk
c:/cd platform-tools
adb reboot bootloader
if you cannot do this via cable then you require to remove the battery, reinsert, hold volume key down and power on.
select fastboot option.
this should take you to the bootloader
now if you have recovery placed in the correct folder ie platform-tools
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
this will install your recovery to your phone.
OR Go here! >http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1791707

yes, all in step.
The firmware.fb0 file is corrupted or maybe u selected the wrong file by chance, just try to redownload or very the integrity of your file.
I usually get this error when I sometimes select the wrong file or when something is wrong with the file. Maybe its not unzipped yet or something. Just try to retrace your steps

send to service center, will they know that it's rooted and in custom rom.
Lets check if there is an issue with the Phone or the ROM. Try installing any other ROM and check. If it works then there should be an issue with the ROM you are trying to use. Check if you can get the Stock ROM from some other place and try.

then you are already rooted, that is a developers phone which is pre rooted. you need to load a custom recovery (amonra is best in my opinion) and should also upgrade you radio and spl, google cyanogen wiki root dream, in that guide you will see a link for amonra, downloaded to sdcard, rename it recovery.img
now download a terminal emulator from the market, open it and type
flash_image recovery/sdcard/recovery.img
wait a few seconds then reboot to recovery
if that works then you can move on from there

Hello All,
Let me give you full history. I was on stock ICS. I unlocked bootloader from htcdev and installed cwm recovery. Then I flashed Nik JB Evolution rom. I worked like charm. Then I thought of flashing another sense rom, so I flashed that rom but it didn't boot. Then I flashed the boot.img file but still that didn't helped. I read through the contents of that rom thread and it said that my phone should be S-Off. So I S-Offed my phone by revolutionary and installed 4ext recovery. But even now after flashing any other rom, the phone doesn't boot up. All I can do is to restore te Nik JB rom and run it. I even tried flashing CM7 and this updating my hboot by blackrose installer, but that too didn't help.
Any help solving this problem will be highly highly appreciated.

Do one thing ...if the problem still persist ... download the official ICS rom and relock ur bootloader ! and den flash it ...u ll be again in stock ICS ..after then again ... unlock it ... flash the rom or ur choice , flash boot.img ! and den u r ready to go !!
just a suggestion for u ... dont flash any rom blindly , first go thru the post and den think that is it worth flashing or not !!
i personally prefer not to unlock bootloader by blockrose .. unlocking the bootloader by HTC dev is much more safer than any other method !! the plus point is u can revert back to STOCK rom any time if some thing goes wrong !! but in blockrose and other methods , chances of bricking ur fone is much higher !! thats my opinion !!
Thanks for the reply. I made the backup of my official stock ROM. When i restored it, even that's not booting up.
How can i proceed?
