not able to transfer any files to SD - Galaxy Ace S5830 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys i'm having a huge problem. I'm not able to transfer any file to my SD card. I used CWM 5.0.2.6 to mount USB storage and then I selected the file to copy. It starts copying then just freezes! I've tried many times and i get the same problem. I already have the drivers installed also. Can anyone please help me out?

[SOLVED]Can't flash partitions!

EDIT: I FIXED IT! I USED A PC AFTER SCHOOL TO FASTBOOT IT!
Help!
I put my boot image on my recovery partition and vice versa.
I was using the flash_image binary to flash them to the original, but it says failed to write block at xxxxxxxxxxxxx (out of memory)
skipping write block at xxxxxxxxxx
It does this for a while, then says failed to write recovery/boot.
I tried to use the erase_image binary, but it still had the same error.
I now have no boot or recovery!
I don't have a PC, so I can't use fastboot! What should I do?

i was gonna say use fastboot but you don't have a PC. xD
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App
A prime example of why some things should be done on pc and pc only
The only way you can fix this is fastboot because from the sounds of it you where trying to flash originals onto a device that im guessing at some stage had resized partitions ?

I was trying to reflash the rcovery and boot images onto the phone using the flash_image binary.
Some idiot had renamed them so that they were opposite.
When i tried to reflash i got the error.

I'm using personal rom!
Actually the reason I dont stay on eclair is first the space constraint. I cant install 40MB+ application like inotia 4 even though I have 100MB+ space on internal memory. It says there is no enough space. Secondly the compatibility like Final fantasy 3 that only works on 2.2+

This is rom for S5830i , not ours S5830 ! So you probably bricked your Ace, sorry!
So your tried rum? Liked it?
Kidding.
On a more serious note, does your phone go into download mode? Press Vol down + home + power button at the same time. If it does, you're good.
If it doesn't, tough luck, mate.
