Cool, and I seem to get where you're coming from given some other stuff that's happened with devs' work over the last couple of months (threads being locked until sources posted, etc). There is a such thing as too many rules. Hey I know you're not saying anything as I read the OP, just my two bits.

Thanks smartguy, sorry about whatever happened.
There was a splendid burst of Exhibit ROM progress when you appeared on the scene. We will miss you.

I know I haven't said much of why I had stuff pulled but I'll leave it at this....I'm really frustrated with xda and what seems to be a lot of politics that comes with it. I will eventually repost all my work and then some as my frustrating wears off. As of right now I think I am going to give up developing until I can get a better laptop or the parts to upgrade my desktop. It sucks when you are building stuff and you can't multitask at all because of the build hogging all the CPU power

Don't worry about it, you've done so much for us already, I can't even thank you enough.
How would you all feel about starting a website? Just for our device and development, it would be free and no politics.
Sent from my SGH-T679 using xda app-developers app
if i knew how i would.....my team has our own website and we can add a forum to it but im clueless when it comes to that stuff
That's my thing, I think we could benefit from it, but will we have the support of our users?

Right OK. I'll try and bring my PA and MIUI up to scratch then. Can't speak for others though.
Please feel free to try CM though. Development there pretty much never stops and there's a weekly build every Sunday.

It's not even an 'official release' as such for nexus devices anyway, it's a developer preview, just a proof of concept really.

If so then it was in 2011, when I got my first Android: the Xperia arc S.

It's hard but worthwhile and fun.

Um I started since the G1. I got my Recognized Developer badge thingy when I was 16. Now I'm 17. Maybe the youngest Recognized Developer? I'm not sure lol.
Searching on XDA for guides is a good place. I learnt on MoDaCo with a rubbish ZTE Blade.

To build flashable zips you don't need software. You can use any old template. Just learn how to script and your all good to go

How to recognise JDC from Sharp?!

Hi everyone,
I realized that Sony Xperia Z comes in 2 displays; Japan Display (JDC) and Sharp.
And here's the question:
How can I recognise a JDC from a Sharp? I'm going to buy the phone tomorrow and I want my phone display to be JDC. Is it a way to know that except of comparing two of them side by side? I know there's an app for that, but it's probably not possible to install the app in the shop and test it!
So I hoped maybe there's another way to know that.
Thanks in advance.
Sent from my LT26ii using Tapatalk 4
its hard to know without root or the app
ask here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182432
This doesn't matter. Coming from an xperia s sharp is very good too.

I also have an xperia s and the z display is noticable better, though it has "less" contrast as some mention.
