Guys so I am leaving the Nexus 4, I am looking at the HTC ONE S or the Xperia S, which would you guys prefer? Please no fan boys, only real talk.
The device you purchase next has nothing to do with the Nexus 4

Hello,
So HTC introduced 2 brad new models Z and HD. Would you consider one of them to be your brand new phone or not really interested?
If no then what would you make to look for new one?
Cheers!
nope, both are ugly compared to nexus..
nope...i have a nexus because its an android developer phone....
and i think i more like samsung Galaxy S..because its have a big internal disk space on it..
All depends on whether it'll be easy to root and install custom firmware... Cyanogen on a HTC Desire HD would be nice
Not at this time! My nexus is still rocking!
Yea, I would, once it gets released on AT&T. I need a 4.3" phone.
Thinking ahead, there will be a sad day when my trusty Incredible S kicks the bucket. So I've started looking for comparable phones seeing as I love this one so much, and my basic requirements are 4" screen size and hopefully HTC unless I can be convinced otherwise (I love Sense).
I think the Desire X is looking pretty great and is at the top of my list so far. http://www.htc.com/au/smartphones/htc-desire-x/
Any other suggestions? Or what will you be getting?

I would advise against the Desire X as a replacement for the Inc S. It probably wouldn't me much of an upgrade, if at all. The Desire X does have an S4 processor, but it's the lowest end S4 available and is nowhere near the performance levels of the S4's you find in the One X/S, North American GS3 etc. It also uses a significantly older CPU architecture in the Cortex A5, whereas our phone has a Cortex A8 CPU and modern dual cores/quad cores are based on the Cortex A9. The latest S4 processors are loosely based off the Cortex A15 which hasn't been released to the masses yet.
TLDR; Go with a Nexus phone or a higher end HTC than the desire X
Personally, I won't buy another HTC phone until they release a phone with on-screen buttons and 2GB of RAM. I'm hoping they make a phone like that, I really want another HTC.
I like Xperia S.
SGS3 though I don't see my IncS dying anytime soon lol. Ganna have to wait till my contact ends in 2013 Aug. Even then I think I'd be happy with SGS3 though new and better phones would be out by that time lol

Agree, don't buy HTC desire x
I honestly think it's not an upgrade.
I am actually thinking of xiaomi phone haha, can't wait for the review once it's out. Another option is HTC one x

My next phone is going to be an htc one X. Nice phone and I'll still have text reflow.
I wonder why text reflow is not implemented by default into Android.
Thanks for the info. Yeah I understand it wouldn't be much of an upgrade if I chose the Desire X, but I love the incredible s so much I wanted something similar. I really don't want anything larger than 4", I have my Nexus 7 for things that require a larger screen so that seems to limit my options to mid-range phones these days.
ZaySk.. that's crazy that it uses older CPU architecture than the IncS :s why on earth would they do that?
maybe an iphone5?
Nah
I know you will hate me but my next phone is Nokia Lumia 920 I really liked it and very interested in New WinPhone8 OS

I don't hate you, those new Nokia windows phones look awesome
Just that with windows phone 7, they didn't update after 7.5 to 8.0
Its like us being updated from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5, but not receiving 4.0
At least we had custom ROMs
Until Microsoft can prove that they care about older devices, I won't be buying windows

Well I have one more year of warranty, so guess if it dies it will be a replacement.
But if it die maybe an HTC One S.Don't like the size of the X.In fact I'd like something 4'..
This with HTC quality, replaceable battery + micro sd would be perfect

I have always liked the meizu mx, best looking phone on the market imo
If it had dev support I might have bought one
I look at all these new phones, but in reality I'm not getting one until like may next year
Venom and project x transformer will add life to our device
And if we get proper source built jb with the 3.x linux kernel, that will too

Mmm the Windows phones do look slick but, like Markj said, Microsoft and Nokia's lack of support for their older products means I won't be getting one.
The next htc android flagship or the next nexus phone

I'm currently thinking of buying a Galaxy Nexus. It's pretty cool and my IncS is about to get its USB-Port broken but I can still sell it to my brother when it's working. But I'm not sure. A One X would be the best thing that could happen to me but I really cannot afford that. I just hope my IncS doesn't let me down so soon...
i will go for N4:victory:
Shouldn't this be in the Q/A section? And I'd go with the N4
I think this will be closed. But N4 obviously, that's why we're all here.
I will go for N4... Good price and good hardware....
But I have a feeling that HTC should be the one....

I couldn't decide, so i am getting the note 2 4g next week, and the nexus 4 next month, which equals hours and hours of flashing heaven

I have always wanted to get my hand on a Nexus device so it is Nexus 4 for me!
LG Optimus G should be in this poll...Because its the closest phone to the Nexus 4...but with LTE and 32 GB of storage and a 13 Megapixel camera on the sprint version...It's the phone I'm seriously considering over the N4 if some good ROM's are made for it lol :victory:
iPhone 5.
most ppl here of course vote for N4. do u expect other users come in here and vote for their phone????? pointless..
Already went from S3 to Lumia 920. I really like it but I still plan to try the N4 and decide between them which I will stick with.
i sold my htc one x for 350€, just enough to get the nexus 4 now
I sold my i9300 to get a Nexus 4, so I'm definately picking one up.
If I can't live with 16GB of storage I'll probably get a i9305, the S3 was a great phone.
If money is not a problem, then the Note II because I love HUGE screens!
But because money is a problem for me, I'm getting the Nexus 4 (which is awesome in almost any other thing!).
If till the beginning of December the price of the Note II will be about 500$ I'll be getting it..
I want to buy a htc one x+ that's why I'm always checking the nexus 4 forums.

Note 2! Cuz I already have gnex and I'm more than happy with it
Posted from my Sweet Lil' Nexus
Note II did sound kind of cool, but I think the Nexus 4 wins, in terms of support, and price (isn't the Note II unlocked like $700?, for very similar specs + microSD?)
As you can see by the results of your poll, this thread doesn't really tell us anything.

1.is it worth hassle
2. is the snapdragon 800 that much better than the 600
3. anything else?
Can't comment on nexus but htc one is a beast andi won't suggest anyone to sell htc one for 4.4 as it's coming to htc one very soon. Like in a month's time or so.

Or just convert to GPE and and maybe you can feel the Nexus 5 experience till a month

I was also thinking the HTC one for the nexus 5, but idk. HTC One is an awesome phone, but I guess I want the latest tech if it means getting another phone without using extra money
Hi guys,
I can pick a new phone shortly and i was wondering or you guys have any good picks and/ or experience with the phone brands i'm currently looking at. I'm currently looking at the Samsung Galaxy S6, the HTC ONE M9 and the LG GFlex2. They all seem equal specwise but pricewise it matters quite a lot. Do you guys have any idea why to buy or why not to buy one of these?
Please let me know

if i was you i would pick LG GFLEX2 mostly because of the awesome LG UI, the autoheal back cover and the amazing curved display but other than that you could also consider the NEXUS 6 for obvious reasons
