[PROJECT] Timescape Extension Development (EDK))

Hello all. Seeing as timescape is running on a lot of high end devices I and some others believe that Devs should start coding extentions. Anyone willing?
PS. No other fourms would look at this thread so i thought to being it to timescapes home, the Arc

some ideas so far are:
1. gmail
2. xda
3. weather

Im not a dev but I for one would be willing to pay for decent extensions. The timescape UI is pretty good but the functionality is where it is lacking

yeah like maybe weather updates. In some videos I seen a weather RSS feed, you can even see it in the pictures on the market. Hope someone will take on the task. Once I learn java I will start.

Maybe Whatsapp could be added

Isn't this just the one that came with the EDK? as a sample?
Anyway good, now people can download the apk without compiling it themselves

Someone has done the gmail one.. I got it..works fine!

dont know why but I think all extensions drain my battery XD but maybe is just my imagination.

The group is called MarakanaTechTV (as shown above). They don't just cover Android, but a whole range of things that would be useful to any and every tech enthusiast.
They have a series called "Android Boot Camp" (Latest edition is 2012) that teaches you Android starting at the bare bones of development. There is also a 2010 version (just go to their playlists). This would be great help for those just beginning.
I apologize at the lack of professional formatting in this post, I am doing it from my phone. As soon as I get to a computer, I will hyperlink, format, bold, add links, etc.
Please put this resource to use, as it is extremely beneficial.

Testers needed

I have a slim build uploading for this device. I do not have the device so I need someone to test it out and provide a list of what's working and what's not working also some screen shots once I have these things I'll start a thread for the ROM I build several ROMs for the sprint s2 and i577 Att if interested let me know otherwise I'll just delete everything off my computer and move on thanks guys

OK as promised. ROM is running well and I haven't found any issues outside of when I changed the DPI to fit the phone I now have apps in the store that aren't compatible. I'm sure it was something I didn't do to correct this and I'll continue to work on it and see if I can find any issues. I haven't had the chance to play with Bluetooth yet but will keep you posted. You would need the slim apps from their site I'll link it for you make sure you get the 5x build

Lol yea I felt like that's where I lived for the last decade.
I got the play store issue corrected by flashing an all DPI play store in the android development forums. Inverted to boot
