Hi guys I present you with the new RevoluTioN Super Stripped edition. This thread and Rom has been created, because this Rom has different aims than the core revolution roms, the aims for this rom are:
Very minimal size
Many less apps than you expect
Options for other people to add thier own desired apps, instead of stock HTC Ones.
A lag free system
Make the wait for CM9/CM10 a little better.
Code:
#include
*
* Your warranty is now void.
*By you using my Mods, Roms etc...
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, or dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed.
* Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
This Rom is for more advanced users here on XDA, if you do not know what you are doing, and consider your self a NOOB then please look at the other RevoluTioN Rom, located here: Revolution Rom Sense/De-sense edition

The recommended steps of installing this Rom are:

Second copy the Zip file to your Phones SD Card.
Now enter recovery, you should know how to do this, if you don't don't install this Rom.
Install the Zip file from recovery

What really change from the first 2?
Anyway, I'll try it soon

plz, just one screenshot of task manager with maximum free memory
This Rom is similar to the De-sense version, but has much, much more stuff removed making the system very basic.

No need to worry about free memory in android, the system will allocate what memory is needed for the requested task, if the user don't require memory for any particular app the os will load certain apps to memory to save load times and cpu cycles for when those apps are called for.
Too much free memory in android is just wasted memory, its how the os works.
By the way great job Russell, one thing I'm curious about, does anyone know how to make the quick settings buttons light blue instead of green?

I agree with that :good:
I used fix iphones back when the iphone 3G came out and then moved on to jailbreaking them and unlocking them up until iphone 4 became widespread...
after finally dumping that whole garbage ios kindergarden play and finally getting a my Atrix last year, I still don't understand why people buy iphones..
you can virtually customize everything inside out on the Android platform and its more social to share ideas and instead of "rebuilding the wheel", build on what's already been established to make progress... it's still beyond my comprehension to see people and my friends love their iphones when these android builds run circles around them.. glad to hear everyone is enjoying this build, i spent a lot of time testing everything out on my phone before posting it here to avoid spreading bugs so its nice everything is smooth so far... great way to start the week
hey man.. thanks!!!! downloading and test now...
Bazilians fãs incoming......
I may have to give this rom a try. Currently on cm7.2-stable-release and have very few complaints aside from slow GPS and slower than normal data speeds. Came from JokersCM9 which I found great aside from wonky web browsing. I can't complain too much because cm7.2-stable is very stable as daily driver and I get really nice battery. But my flashitis is starting to flare up again. Why can't I ever be content with a rom.
Isn't ADW EX the paid version of the app though? If it is it isn't right to include that in your rom.

A quote from his description above: Added es Explorer & MiLocker for some eye candy
Replace the boring adw launcher with the adw ex launcher and included the Gala theme which is pictured in the snapshots below, looks very clean and elegant with this theme\launcher combo
Also would be curious who created the add themes in the theme zip, bet you will find they are other peoples hard work also.
Please do not post warez. ADW EX is a paid application from the Google Play Store. You are not authorized to package it inside of your ROMs. You can edit your post with a new download link for your ROM once you have taken ADW EX out. Thank you.
Sorry about that, don't know what i was thinking but I did replace the original ADW Launcher that compiles with the CM7 source code, the free version it originally comes with, I removed the ADW Launcher EX and any other themes that weren't free in the Play store and everything included can also be found in the Play store for FREE so everything is straight now, apologies around the table
is this based on CM 7.2??
is that screen of quadrant score 3063 @1.00GHz kernel?

yes, it's based off the 7.2 and using the 1.00GHz EXT4 Unified CM7 kernel that already included in the rom
Its a mistake but it can get you and this forum in trouble. Thanks for being understanding and fixing it quick, its a good rom and sure alot of people here will be grateful!
3060 @ 1.00GHz its great.. but i dont like the theme much (launch bar and icons).. can i uninstall the pre-installed apps? and change that lock screen/ charging/ monster thing??

I've learned a tremendous amount of information through this forum and have always found myself going back to XDA in the end of any of my technical developer questions I used to google years ago before I even joined here.
So I have an enormous amount of respect for the forum and everyone on here, I was just trying to enhance the GUI a bit by using the ADW EX version I pulled from my old backups, didn't think anyone would even notice really to even comment on it. What I forgot to realize was what makes this forum different and successful over any other similar places online is how people do respect rules and follow the proper developer etiquette of respecting other people's hard work and respect the work that not free and has to be paid for.
Now a days with all these torrents online and everything being shared so freely, people sometimes forget to respect the hard work of others and not infringing on their work by sharing out paid .apk files for free. So I do apologize for not considering such fact, I had no intention of just sharing paid anything for free. I just wanted to include a better version of the free ADW Launcher but didn't think that it's ADW Ex which has to be paid for and cannot be shared for obvious reasons.
I'm not trying to step on anybody's toes here and won't make the mistake again in the future, thanks to sammcripp for letting me off with just a warning and not deleting my post entirely.

I just ran the benchmark again, got 2959 this time, still above the Motorola ATRIX 4G, faux123 really deserves most of the credit here for his kernel work, truly a great enhancement mod on performance
And just go into MiLocker and browse their Online Lockscreen section to find one you like. That picture of the monster on the lockscreen was just my favorite, I didn't make it the default with the rom, you shouldn't have that as your lockscreen by default, but you can do a lot through MiLocker, browse around in there, theres a lot you can customize
Just did another quick experiment with Clemsyn's CyanoElite 1.0 kernel and ran the benchmark with it to get the score up a bit
ClemsynCyanoElite1.0.zip Download Here
It's a CWM flashable zip like all the kernel zip files, just wipe cache before flashing
Here's the snapshot of the benchmark using Clemsyn's kernel
Cf bench is better and fully utilizes dual core phones like the atrix.

hi russel) does your rom support OC einstein.frat's kernels??? and are there any falls of performance in games???? because there were script called turbo script and UI was very fast, but games and benchmarks got worse result)
I player heavy games such as dead trigger, with the updated, and tweaked graphics the system loaded and ran the game smooother, it also loaded faster.
@uchihasparky you could try it, i'm learning bit by bit, trying to fit it all in with college and to be honest it is very hard to do. Once I now more then i'll try theming.

That video was a test rom, I plan on changing all the apks to stock a making some stuff of my own, and also change the base eventually, I just thought your base was best to use for my initial tweaks.

I said not long ago anybody can use nameless rom as base.

Welcome to the "Energy" ROM thread !
This development thread is the home of my "EnergyROM" custom firmware series for the Motorola Razr M. Here you will find ROMs that I have created for this device over time. My main goal when putting a ROM together is stability. A second goal would be a good, professional look.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Stability through private beta testing before public release
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go.
Now on to the good stuff...
(You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter)
How to Flash this ROM:
- Root your device
- Install safestrap
- Create a ROM slot
- Install the downloaded ROM .zip found in post #3

Don't ask me to change the theme or don't ask me to release a ROM without theming. You can use the stock ROM for that This is themed and tweaked to my taste and I hope some of you like it enough to run it on your own device.
This ROM contains most of the Verizon bloat in it. I plan to release an Aroma powered version so the user can choose what they want to install. Or maybe just separate, debloated versions.
By "Verizon" bloat I really mean Verizon specific applications, like its backup assistant, visual voicemail, etc... not the spamware they loaded the phone with. Stuff that might actually be useful to Verizon customers.
I'd like to say that it's safe to restore your userdata partition (backup) over whatever ROM slot you install this ROM to and be back in business in no time, IF YOU ARE already running the stock JB ROM...
Hello NRGZ28,
I used your rom for xperia x1, nice to see a master at work on razr m! Great work!
Downloading and will install it . How good is battery life?. I see lot of black i your theme, does it have inverted gapps in it? .
On the lighter side have you checked any other ROM's available in this forum. I just asked so as to know more about battery life because that is the most important factor for me

Battery life is excellent because it's built on the stock base. Been running it on my phone for the last week and a half..
No inverted gapps... But the contacts app is dark as seen in the pics. Gmail is still white..
Thanks for ROM. Installed it on seperate slot. Will post my experience tomorrow. Can I install inverted gapps at the time of installation along with the above zip file ?
You can do whatever you want The ROM has disabled package signature checking, so you can install APKs from pretty much any ROM.
Best ROM so far for Droid Razr M.
1)Solved the problems of ciphering and Mobile tethering. Even though they can be done even after installing any ROM it is even inbuilt in this.
2)Secondly theme you used is amazing. Blue color is so cool and pleasing to eyes.
3) It detected all the settings all by itself. I installed all other ROM's and none had done that.
4) Reboot is included in power button option
5) No problems whatsoever with FC's as they are so natural in other ROM's. I dont want to criticize other ROM's but this is the best first build I have used ever. Zero problems.
6) However one application is missing. Application to browse files is removed. Even though its not a big issue it can be different environment altogether for some people. Hope that you kindly include it.
7) Bottom Navigation buttons sizes have been reduced which implies more screen space. I always thought that this modification should be done to as a default to many ROM's ( just saying ) because stock buttons are too big

ROM is very smooth. Once again thanks for this amazing ROM. I will be updating you with all the errors that I experience so that future users can get benifited from this
First problem faced . " unfortunately the process android.process.acore has stopped" . This happened when I started my device for first time. As I am Living outside US I got SIm card notification and then this this error. I am unable to open Contacts and Phone app because of this error . Can you kindly explain what it means and how to prevent it from showing up again ?
Whhooohoo! Downloading now, this looks great!
Hmmm seemed to install fine, booted fine, but doesn't get a data connection of any sort. Possibly related to the acore process that force closes when I try to launch phone or contacts app..
Anyone have any this issue? Installed to romslot 1.
Yeah I gotta work on fixing that acore FC that happens for some people. It seems to happen when you do a "dirty" install, without wiping data first. I'll work on a solution....
Re: [ROM][JB]|Mar 2| Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ Tweaks|Themed|APM / Official Base! ¯´·.¸¸. -
Installed using safestrap and now can't boot into recobery . Anyone else faced the same problem?

You have to have adb installed on your computer. Try googling.. "how to create a logcat"
Hello guys,
I'm back again,
And I have an announcement to make...
Notice: There is a reason each app has it's own thread, it is so more people do not post the same things which are already here, and it is also to prevent confusion. If all the apps where in one thread, it will be very confusing with bug reports and finding the app itself in such a thread, hence the multiple ones.
How would you feel, to have a AOSP Settings app, on our sense Roms?
Well it is here guys! I have been working on it, and it is finally brought here to us! It has all the features of stock AOSP, and a few which the HTC one didn't have, or isn't as easy to access.
I had to resize alot of things, and change some coded parts too, but it looks great, and seems to work great too.
There are two versions, just like my wallpaper packs, AOSP messaging and AOSP browser, they are located here:
ReVoluTioN Wallpaper packs thread link: ReVoluTioN Wallpaper packs!
ReVoluTioN AOSP Messaging app thread link: ReVoluTioN AOSP Messaging App!
ReVoluTioN AOSP Browser app thread link: ReVoluTioN AOSP Browser App!
ReVoluTioN ASOP Contacts app thread link: ReVoluTioN AOSP Contacts App!
ReVoluTioN AOSP Email app thread link: ReVoluTioN AOSP Email App!
ReVoluTioN AOSP Calendar app thread link: ReVoluTioN AOSP Calendar App!
ReVoluTioN AOSP Calculator app thread link: ReVoluTioN AOSP Calculator App!
[ReVoluTioN AOSP Clock app thread link: ReVoluTioN AOSP Clock App!
The first version will be for all those beginners, and noobies out there.
The second version is for the more hardcore members, and involves using ADB. To know where to push this app, look on the second post!
This can be installed on the sense edition of revolution, but it is made for both the Super Stripped and De-Sense Editions

Download the AOSP Settings app:
Automated install via a flashable zip:
System Wide package, recommended for both the Stripped Edition and De-Sense Edition of ReVoluTioN: Link
Manual install via ADB (Read post two of this thread, to know exactly where to push this app):
System wide package, recommended for both the Super Stripped and De-sense Edition of ReVoluTioN, but can be used on the Sense Edition:
Link
There are a few installation methods which you can use to install this Settings app, there is one for beginners as well as the more experienced members, who prefer using ADB rather than install zips.
Custom built flashable zips for both the inexperienced members here at XDA, or just the plain lazy members who don't have much time on their hands.
Copying the individual APK to your phone, please be aware that this app does not go into the data partition, only the system partition! For example, these directories below are for inexperienced members, who are willing to try things out, and learn a little more about their phones file system, and how it is structured:
The incorrect directory to copy the custom AOSP Settings app to via ADB:
Code:
/data/app/settingsxxxx.apk
The correct directory to copy the custom AOSP Settings app to via ADB:
Code:
/system/app/settingsxxx.apk
If you push the Settings app to the wrong directory, you may have a lot of system force closes, and the app will not work. This is why you NEED to push this app to the system directory and not the data directory.
How to use this app?
Use it just like your normal Settings app.

Re: [APP] Revolution AOSP Settings
Go into the apps section, then on the right hand side there is a tab that says "all" click it then that's your system apps. I just tested this myself mate it works fine.

Hi.
Ummm the sdcard bar graph is not very accurate... Maybe this a bug? (Bar is right at the top. If you look at the available room and the bar representation of available room, you can see that its inaccurate).
:what:
Edited: can't upload screenshot.

Hey man, AOSP setting does not have the fastboot option as far as I know, however you can enable it though build.prop but the AOSP setting does not natively support this setting, sorry mate.
The App is updated with the following changes:
v1.1
Removed broken, non working options
Removed system Update
Added ReVoluTioN Rom Branding in system info
The revolution branding is so i know when people have stolen, or used my work. Also it makes it look more integrated when looking at system info lol.

I see you want to download my rom? Make sure you read how to install first before reporting bugs and complaining.
You can download the latest release from here: Link
How to install?
Well first of all are you sure you have a HTC Desire C? If you are certain you do, then proceed with the steps below...
First Download the Rom from the link provided above...
Once that is done, copy the zip file to your phones SD Card
Now this step isn't a must, but if you want your WIFI to work, you need to flash a boot.img, you can see how to do this below:
There are two ways you can do this, if you want to do it in very simple steps, use the boot.img flashing tool located here: Link
However if you wish to know the commands required to flash the boot.img, follow these simple steps just below here:
Code:
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Code:
fastboot erase cache
Code:
fastboot reboot
Once you have flashed your boot.img, reboot into your recovery and flash the Rom, by using the "flash zip" option
Enjoy your new ReVoluTioN Based Rom
Another really?

Lets give a special thanks for Hpsgill! I have used his awesome framework as a base and some of his com.HTC.resources, because of his awesome Icons and hard work. I want to say thank you mate for granting permission for me to borrow them, without the icons and the frameworks the Rom would not look as awesome as it does.
Once again Thanks Hpsgill!

All donations will go towards something relating to further development of the revolution Rom series, think it will maybe be something to speed up compiling from source, this will speed up releases a little more.
you better upload soon or the mods will close this too ;P
Don't worry man, i am updating the thread right now the rom will be up very soon.
Many thanks I realised that sense UI is the best , don't wanna leave it

-Edit lockscreen ring

-Edit numbers from the battery icon, more darker the background I think
-Post Setting screen on the first post, that´s amazing! :'D
I can´t wait for the Sensed5 apps xP
PD: Calculator, Settings and SystemUI are great!
But the keyboard, and the dialer, i don´t like it, i know you will change that, but Stock are better than that xP
Things will be changed around don't worry.
Hey ltz200013, I don't think you can do any better can you? I am working on things okay? Once i have sorted a few more things I will post it up until then you will have to wait.
