Has anyone installed the Google Ears widget on this rom? I'm really missing it. I tried putting it on system/app and doing a reboot but it didnĀ“t work.
Thanks in advance

A friend of mine got the calander and weather clock widget running on his HTC Desire with CM7.1 so it should work on CM

Yeah, I've got the LG original Calendar widget working on CM7. No problem.
Yes with adb push calendar

ok, i have a problem
instead of pushing the files with adb
i just copied them with root explorer to system/app
i got the widget working, but the calendar aplication gives me a FC. I think it's a problem with CM7.1 calendar because it suddenly dissapeared...
so now i don't have any calendar aplication working xD
please someone help me! xD

Hi,

Hi !
I just installed ICSSGS RC 4.2, thanks a lot to the team, you did a great job !!
When I was on RC 3.1, I was using google music, but now on 4.2, I can not install it. And I cannot uninstall the music.apk of the ROM.
Is there a special way to install Google Music on this ROM ?
Thanks again for the job !!
Pierral.
never had problem with installing google music.
u cant uninstall default music player..... u can do to things :
1. go to system > app , delete music.apk from there
2. or simply go to manage apps> all apps > music > disable

i did it like this: downloaded apk from xda, installed it, and then uninstalled stock music player with titanium backup ... it works flawless for me
Problem solved
Hi and thanks for your help !
I finally succeeded by doing a "wipe data/factory reset" before flashing from RC3.1 to RC4.2. I think the problem was to have it installed by default on the older version.
At first I didn't want to re-install all my apps, but titanium backup is made for that
Thanks again for your help, now with RC4.2 + Google music + Semaphore Kernel, my SGS is so great !! (Even if my battery don't go through a whole day, but I think it's because of data is enabled all the time..)
I change subject title to solved
Hi
Can Somebody provide me or guide to someplace I can find the stock Nexus S JB 4.1.2 Google keyboard app ? as an apk or a flashable zip ?
Edit : please I am not looking for something from playstore ,, I need the stock Nexus S JB keyboard
I can pull the app from some stock rom zip , but most likely it will not work without the required lib and what not ... A guidance is required please
Thanks

It didn't work. .Tried that already by just copying the apk, setting permissions and reboot. .
Thanks
Your rom is odex or deodex?
You have to go to language and input settings and enable the keyboard over there. You will have to delete the old keyboard as well
Thanks for all the replies..
I didn't mention that I'm on AT&T skyrocket JB Rom...it's deodexed, and ofcourse it's a touch wiz ROM...bad thing is that Samsung removed the stock Google keyboard from their JB Rom(for AT&T it's still a leaked Rom not fully official)
But when I was on ics I had the stock Google keyboard..I might try use that and see...
