Hey guys, I read a lot of topics about rom for x8. Can you help me, and tell which rom better, more stable and fast for x8?
My x8 not rooted and not was have another changes.
I use stock rom (2.1) and karnel. What can I do to improve my x8 performance? Maybe beter way not change karnel? Sorry for my english.

Just create a CWM backup ...
Or you can flash stock rom via flashtool ..

I have Alfs Kernel v8, I will switch to another kernel if it's needed fir ROM. So what ROM do you recommend?

A search would have told you that each rom will run differently on each device. Only way to tell what works for you is to try and see.

Can someone tells me whats is the correct method to return to a GB custom rom which is based on the Samsung rom.
I mean which have the s-note and s-memo
And have a good battery consumption. If u do pls tell what is that rom?!?
To many questions i know but i am affriad of doing it and i want to do it right .

Flash rootable GB rom with PC odin.
Root it and get clockwork recovery.
Then flash any of the custom GB ROM you like.
Read this thread.

A good GB rom to flash through CWM would be Checkrom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1428855. Checkrom with Franco kernel = best battery life

It looks great, many people are interested in GB (ICS and JB aren't the best for our weak HW), I would like to see it on my X8.

Btw, i have a locked bl so i really don't know much aby custom kernel. But i've been reading posts and alfs and naa's seem to be most popular. Hope you make one for stock though.

You can still root your phone and install custom rom that support stock kernel

I like how laconic stamatis16 has been, which is why I'm gong to drop in a thanks. As for the answer to your question, you gotta root it, install XRecovery or CWM, download one of the countless GB ROMs available, thank the dev there and then flash it in recovery. Instructions can be found in Development section.

Best is MiniCm7 with alfs kernel(using it), minicm10 is fast , all good , except the lag when you get a phone call , minicm9 is a lil laggy than minicm10.
