great beta keyboard

hi chaps, register with swiftkey vip and try the beta tablet keyboard, i am trying it now and i gotta say its dammm good

This new Beta is nice, first beta sucked hard. Had no comma key and no option to change long press duration.

Lock the volume keys?

Hello, when I lock my screen with the Powerkey the the Volume up and down key still work! It is really annoying when I heard music with Bluetooth headset and my Note in my pocket gets louder or more silent. Is there any way to lock them too?

Buy hard case because it protect the keys from triggering it.

Browser Problem

Hello Community,
i have a really crazy problem. Everytime i start my browser (doesn`t matter which one, i tested every browser for my phone) google is opened as homepage, altough i haven`t set it up in the settings. I use the chuck norris rom x with symbi0sis kernel 1.3. Can anybody help me?

From where are u starting browser? For example Espier launcher, in its newest version always will start with their website, if you click on browswer icon, no matter what u had set before.

i start it with go launcher, is this the reason?

No problem, that's kind of injection by launcher into browser. Luckily its often passable

(Request ) app/mod for wakeing the phone to lock screen using soft keys/home button

I have an optimus 4x(just like all of us):screwy:, and the lock/unlock/power button is a bit awkward:banghead:...
All of the unlock apps present in market require pressing the power button.
Can any one developed an app/mod that will wake the phone without the use of power button!?
I myself would like try but don't know first thing about Android development. So if u lazy then please guide me in which direction to go

If you use holo locker from the market you can use the volume button to wake the screen. If that's any good?

I know this is not your inteded answer, but would't the phone be unlocked all the time? I mean, those capacitive buttons are easily pressed, even through pockets. Plus, you'd need to power them all the time which would cause some battery drain.

On the old HTC Desire S we had "Sweep2Wake" - but that requires kernel modifications AFAIK. Maybe something for the future as it was quite a nice feature, and I don't like using physical buttons to wake my phone as it wears them out too quickly.

How about smart screen off pro from play store? It uses the proximity sensors and/or the light sensors to wake up your phone by put them out of the pocket or anything else...

Hello.
You can try also "Auto Screen On" from Google Play. It works with the frontal sensor; it's perfect to have your phone turned on when getting out from your pocket. After trying similar apps, I prefer this

I had been using this fantastic, flexible and fast ROM (24/06) for a couple of days on my LG Optimus 4X mobile, but unfortunately I have a couple of issues: 1. Speaker and BT volumes are a bit low, and 2. Purchased applications can not be installed. What can I do.?
