Hi All,
I am new xda and thanks for the great work. I have recently acquired my LG P990h however its not been now 3weeks in general and its started to act up. By this I mean the screen all of a sudden starts to type,screen selections move themselves,at times I am in the midle of a text message and the screen jumps to say utube,etc
I noticed this behavior got a little more erratic when I upgraded the android version using the LG desktop suite IV to 2.3.4
The rest of my phone specs currently show this;
Model - LG-P990h
Android version - 2.3.4
Baseband version - 1035.21_20120327
Kernel version - 2.6.32.9
Builde number- GRJ23
LGE version - LGP990h-V20b
May someone help guide me on what could be the issue please..

Hi guys,
I am perplexed about one thing and need help sorting it out. Some owners of LG O2x report that their phones have been updated to baseband version 10d and that the phone is much more stable and that there are no reboots. However, once I connect my phone to LG upgrade tool I am not given the opportunity of upgrading to 10d. The most recent firmware is 10b or am I missing something?
Baseband 405 appeared before v10d did, it's easy to install though, check MoDaCo.
B is the same as D but diffrent names for diffrent regions

Dear All,
I am the newbie and would really appreciate if I got some assistance. My story starts recently when I received an LG P990h that initially was working fine. Along the way,I downloaded LGsuiteIV desktop suite and upgraded the android version to 2.3.4 however since then its rather erratic in behavior as in the keyboard can go wild and start typing self or once you probably searching for something like a contact or any folder,the phone just goes ballistic and starts flashing windows,camera,pictures,etc and also the eventual hunging..
My phone details show this now;
Model number
LG-P990h
Android version
2.3.4
Baseband version
1035.21_20120327
Kernel version
2.6.32.9
Build number
GRJ23
LGE version
LGP990h-V20b
Any kind advice for this me,would be much appreciated.

After watching the beginning of this he makes it seem like you must update to android 2.3.4 first. Which is the reason I ask this question in the first place, because LG Electronics no longer supports the update to android 2.3.4 with the LGMobile Support Tool for the P970. I called tech support last week and it's definitely not supported...:crying:
However since we are flashing the phone with the patched version of V20I_00.kdz as a .bin and .fls file doesn't that mean we are flashing the entire ROM to the phone and not just patching the current version of the ROM installed? Thus updating the phones firmware in the process anyway?
I know there are others out there with this question and nothing in the forum has identified this for me I've been looking for the answer for a solid week now, I wish to address this question before proceeding to prevent bricking my phone because I do need it.
Hope to chat soon!

You're wrong , if you want to update your phone via bcc tool , it will update your phone to 2.3.4 and from there to 4.0.4 .
