Hi. Some time ago I was cleaning the firmware. Now I bought DK22 (TV dock station), when connected to a TV, nothing happens. What files to / system / app / is responsible for connecting to the TV?
I returned the files and SemcTvLauncher.apk SemcTvOut.apk. But nothing has changed.
Sorry for my english.
Find something like mhl.apk
I find: SomcWifiDisplay.apk and RemoteControlService.apk
Thanks

Is there anybody here tried the tv out option of galaxy s using the 3.5mm jack to rca cable? I just bought mine from a samsung dealer and it's working fine except for the audio part. It's outputting from my phone to tv but for some reason has no audio at all. Its an original cable intended for galaxy s as i've been told so that's why i'm wondering. I tried both ntsc and pal but still no avail. is there something i'm missing here? Please help. Thanks in advance!
I'm not sure that my experience is the same, as I use a Nokia TVout cable, but mine works perfectly.
Go into settings>Sound and Display> scroll down to bottom>TVout> set TV system to PAL then turn on TVout.
Then set your TV to the required input, this varies on each TV so check in the manual that came with the TV, and plug in the phone lead, making sure that the coloured plugs are connected to the same coloured sockets.
This should now work, but if you are missing one of your audio channels, or you have audio but no video, then the chances are that the connection in the top of the phone is to blame. The plug MUST be pushed fully home so that all four connections are made, try reseating the plug while playing a video.
If all else fails, try to borrow a Nokia TVout lead to test it.
Hope that this helps.
Hmmm.... Thanks for the suggestion however my problem is that there's no audio coming out from my lcd tv. And the weird part is I'm using genuine samsung cable intended specifically for galaxy S tv out! I've even double check the rca cables if they're plugged in the right place but still to no avail.

did you go into settings > sound and display > TV out settings?
make sure it is enabled
and selected proper PAL or NTSC
Sounds works fine for me with a cable bought on ebay, however there is background noise.

I don't think so... X8 have only AUDIO out on 3.5mm port
Hy!
I check the electrical schematics from X8, and find the audio jack. This 3.5 mm jack supports the audio out, mic, and FM funktions only.
Don't order the cable!
So can i refuse my phone with tv?

Maybe U can connect your phone to TV via USB cable, and an application... But I'm not sure...
Only way is tru VNC, you need a computer connected to the tv and it will be very slow anyway. Not worth it..

I saw a video on the youtube about VNC and its unusable. Too slow

Apologies for reviving an old thread, but recently I've been looking into this and can say for certain there is no easy way to do what the OP wanted to do.
You can, however, stream media files via WiFi from your X8 onto your TV if the TV is DLNA-compatible by utilizing an app called Pixel Media Server - DMS. I have a Panasonic model with Viera and I successfully tested image, video and music streams. Some older models might have a problem with videos, though. I tested this because the TV doesn't recognize my SD-card when I attempt to connect via USB.
Android 2.2+ is required to use the app. Enjoy!
I've been trying to hook my Samsung S2 Tab up to my tv via MHL . The cable works ,however the video is displayed inside a black box on the screen and doesn't go anywhere near filling the tv screen as my phone does when it's hooked up in the same manner.
Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone any advice?
I've tried changing the ratio aspect inside video playing apps like Dice Player and messed with the settings on my tv but all to no avail.
Hi. I want to permanently leave the cell phone connected in the car, but I want it to turn on when the usb port detects voltage. (That is, it turns on when the cell phone starts to charge).
I have tried replacing the contents of the LPM file with this:
#! / system / bin / sh
/ system / bin / restart

But it has not worked for me.
Does anyone know how I could do it?
Thank you
Alexander
Anyone had any luck with changing desktop resolution on DeX? I have tried with two 3rd party docks, an Anker and a Lenovo, only options visible are 1920x1080 and 1600x900.
Purchased Samsung EE-I3100FBEGWW USB-C to HDMI cable and still have the same problem.
Trying to get 3440x1440, but really, just struggling to get anything to even show.
Have seen a thread on the S8 forum where someone roots and use cli to force resolution however I don't want to root this phone.
Hi, so did You manage to experience fullHD on Your 3440x1440 (cropped version) with that cable?
I purchased exactly the same cable and owe s21 ultra exynos but once I connect it via cable to my Dell U3417W 34 - the monitor says there is no signal, the says nothing and neither mirror it's screen (as other people report while using USB C - HDMI cables) nor suggests to switch to DEX, enabling Dex manually in the phone settings brings me to selection: Dex for TV / Dex for PC, Dex for TV tries to find nearest Wifi enabled TVs with Dex support, but still does not see my monitor. Samsung tech support helpless - suggest to to make factory reset to exclude SW error impact or bring it to service centre. BTW Dex on PC is awfully slow (comparing to what I saw o Youtube, where people able to stream videos and photos to PC with minimal lag) and low res (looks like 640*480 upscaled with pixel smoothing), firmware is updated to latest version.
Looks like either S21 has poor compatibility with hi-res monitors or I have cable problem (broken one).
